My family has known Mark Cubans family for over a decade. He has been the same hyper liberal person since the day I met him. Even out of the public eye he advocates for hate speech laws, banning firearms, etc. He even tried to get the National Anthem banned from Dallas Mavericks home games because it was "offensive" to some people. Thankfully the NBA prevented him from doing this.
He runs in a little bubble of Dallas elites who take pride in being extremely liberal. They are the wannabe self described as the "avant-garde" who want to be contrary to the DFW mainstream as a point of pride.
I dont care until he says things that will affect others. Ie he can do DEI all day long at his own company if he feels minorities aren't qualified enough to make it onto the radar for opportunities at his own company. Trump did not heed Mark’s advice and after that Cuban had TDS. He also did indicate that Trump used to call him to talk about business and stuff before he became president. And he wasn’t too happy when he only found out Trump announced his candidacy through the news. It just looks like he was pi$$ed with Trump for not showing him respect as a friend.
