- West Ham United’s Europa Conference League semi-final, second leg victory over AZ Alkmaar was marred by crowd trouble after some Dutch supporters stormed into the area reserved for friends and family of the visiting players behind the dugout.

If it was an English team that did this UEFA would be going mad, the local police would have the names of everyone involved and huge fines/bans would be handed out. Since it's not the reaction will be sluggish and at most a slap on the wrist from UEFA. European bias as usual.

But still. This also happened the first leg, and in opposition to today, nearly no attention was put on it by English media.

IF you see the clips of this incident, a few hundred guys in black wearing balaclavas broke down a security gate, ran half the length of the stadium to attack the families of west ham players. Premeditated and there's no comparison at all to what happened in London

I saw this from another angle and saw a particular big guy at the top of the stairs taking on the thugs himself. It was pretty impressive. I hope he and those next to him get some recognition for their bravery. Its sad they had to experience that.

This is what happened when a group of so called hard Russians ran into an end full of family supporters and started punching non-hooligan English supporters. The Dutch have tried something very similar here with my beloved football club. It's so easy to get caught up in the past history of West Hams firm and say if this was 45 years ago this wouldn't have happened but, it has and this is what happens when you have a reputation from days gone by. You've only got ask our friends in South Bermondsey about that they are still paying for their past, it is what is you just have to live with it. God bless and be safe.

Apologies are not enough. Identify the attackers, take them to court and implement capital punishment. Then, this will never happen again. These people were trying to attack families and would kill someone if they had a chance to do it. They cannot be rehabilitated.
