    Hi mate hope you keeping well
    Just so you are aware that battery you have tested was going to fail the test if you have selected EFB instead of flooded .
    Enhanced flooded battery which that vehicle needs as it is equipped with start stop i personally hate them 😁.
    Keep up the good work
    Take care

    What kind of mark-up do you do on battery replacements and installations? Is it a flat fee or percentage based?

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  3 года назад +2

      We have a flat rate to come out for any job from 1 minute up to 1 Hour of £60.

    Good stuff not easy filming out on multiple jobs, how do you rate that SIP jump pack? Had a sealey 12/24v good as gold but that went walkies well that's another story.

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  3 года назад +1

      Yes The SIP is a lot better than sealey. The charger is a bit slow so I use a Noco 5 to charge it between jobs

    Hi mate, at what age did you start being mobile/self employed? What made you decide to do it? Thanks

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  3 года назад +5

      I learned mechanics when I was a teenager but decided to buy & sell used cars and use my skills to repair them and sell them on. Once I started making enough money I hired someone to work for me repairing the cars but didn't have a garage to store the tools so I bought a van to store them in. Once we had the van we started getting lots of requests from friends who were broken down or car wouldn't start in the mornings and thought it was a good idea for extra income on the side.
      Car sales slowed down and I went full time mobile Mechanic in November 2011 👍🏻
