The was one big story point that I'm not sure if you caught. After fusing with adam or denying him, you get his data point. In it, it reveals that his real name is Raphael Marx, the creator of Mother Sphere. He was heavily referenced in all of the lore entries. I'm really not sure why they put such a big reveal in a data point, but it is there.

Good job completing it. There is a different boss fight If you refuse Adam’s hand. If you like the game enough definitely run it back through on ng+ in your free time. You can get the other two endings in one quick run since you can skip all the sidequests and avoid Eidos 9. Back up save before talking to Adam.

The reasob why it was made unnessary hard, was the double fist should be parried instead of just blockjng as blocking will still chio away your dmg. Parrying just its left right fist attacks will kill his posture and shield much faster

@@lvggamingexp Also something I figured out while playing. You get stunlocked in most of the last hits of combo attacks. Especially spamming the square button causes this on the fourth hit. That's why you can't block, even when you think you can.

Man!! I thought I was the only 1 who knew what it felt like when doves cry, but all jokes aside, I am doing the other ending, and i am catching hell.

Providence is, without a doubt the toughest boss in the game (imo). Tougher than Unidentified, Raven and the other boss (which I won't mention unless you do the other ending). The last few bosses are skill checks, as they throw everything at you at once and your reflexes need to be on point. I love the challenge. They're even tougher on hard mode, lol. Providence kills you in two hits and has plenty of OHK attacks. That's WITH max body cells (NG+). I've gotten him down to a science at this point, going through the game 6 times (all hard mode except for the first run on normal, including a personal challenge run on hard mode using no skills) & practicing relentlessly in boss rush, lmfao. Just takes hard work and persistence, which you have a ton of! So great job getting through it! It's definitely a rough fight!
P.S. Counter follow-up attacks require beta energy, which you didn't have during those times she didn't do the follow-up attacks, so keep an eye on that.
P.S.S. The burst follow-up attacks for perfect dodges (triangle + square) + Overdrive (R1+X) do a ton of damage (rivals that of standard burst skills like Tempest). Highly recommend playing around w/ that if you decide to go through NG+/Hard Mode. Definitely recommend checking out the new fits and infinity skills too.
I loved the absolute sin out of Stellar Blade and it's my personal GoTY. Yes, over FF7 Rebirth and Granblue Relink.
I thought Raven was tougher honestly. But this game is definitely in the GOTY category.

Dude I can tell you love SB as much as I do. Fighting providence on hard mode was so challenging!!
If im not a huge fan of ff7 rebirth, stellar blade may be my goty. I can't wait for the sequel.
There was waaaaaay to much, I’ll definitely agree to that. But the story in Rebirth just hit me.
Not to say Stellar Blade isn’t a GOTY nomination in its own right!
Providence killed me at least five times before I changed up my build and put on the Protection Exospine and some protection and a piece of melee gear, as I concluded that he was too tanky to bother with damage, he hits too hard, and I was, and still isn't, good enough to use risk taking gear. I also had the advantage of maxing Eve's HP along with her sword. Needless to say, that mech was still BS outside of fighting it hand to hand, as he was parry practice there, but I got him after a couple more tries due to making Eve tankier. Hope he didn't beat the love of mechs out of you. :p
And shoutouts to those who not only fought him at hard mode, but fought him at min level.
PS: The other fight is much better.
Maaaan, not only did he hit hard, but that mf was too fast!!! All that strafing back and forth, pulling up on you, dashing away!!!

i got two endings in one playthrough tbh. just loaded the last save I had before the decision. and trust me you got the best/true ending. fighting adam is the bad ending.
I still wanna go back and fight him to see if he was as difficult.

Those times you parried and tried to counter and it didn't work was because counter consumes beta charge which was empty at those times, anyway well played sir, I do think there will be DLC before a sequal, this game has made too much noise to not have any

Took a while but you got it. I couldn't deal with flying stuff like you, just had to go Tachy mode and tank those aerial attacks. Providence is even worse on ng+ hard mode. And then more in Boss Challenge because you start with no burst beta, or Tachy energy
Edit: They want to turn this game into a franchise and go public with the company. So there will be sequels. Also mulling over porting it to PC.

About Up Circle too all reading this. They did change how it works after 1.3
UP + circle no longer works. You have to press UP then circle as well as down then circle.
If you try to press up and circle at the same exact time, she will actually dodge backwards. Don't forget to wait for the sword to glow.
