- Whilst sorting out papers in my studio I came across some spare digitals from a past project, time for a master board make to utilise the spare pages.

I love your method of sorting hour scraps by color before starting to glue! I do struggle with the collage process and this adds a little bit of structure. As always, TFS.

Very nice. I've seen people (maybe you) put random papers on a master board, but I like your idea of using up the last sheets of a pack and grouping the pieces into similar colors. I think the finished product is quite attractive and usable. What a nice way for me to spend some time with my paper!

After I finish a journal I do a masterboard using up scraps, it keeps the scraps manageable and I can easily cut a certain sized piece in future. I always love your masterboards!

This is my first time watching you create a master board (MB)... I really like the way you make them...have watched several others who do MB's and they just use piles of scraps willy-nilly and mostly tear the pieces...although I enjoy the creativity, I don't feel that way is me! After watching you, I now know it's because I am more of a 'matchy-matchy' girl. I was truly amazed when you sorted the collage pieces by color, then proceeded to add them to the MB. I did a 'yeah!' when I realized that's why my MB's felt 'uncomfortable' when I looked at them! They were willy-nilly... apparently I don't do willy-nilly! I loved your MB today! Truly a work of art!❤

😍😍😍as always! I love watching others "work" but I really need to start doing something of my own. I inherited a boatload of scrapbook pages and card-making supplies from my daughter-in-law and I will never use them. Some probably never and some, maybe, sometimes but not for making cards so I'm thinking I can pretend they are digitals!! Some are heavy - cardstock weight - and others are regular copy paper weight. Now to sort through them! TFS
Like Gayle says, “So any problem can be solved with a flower, a butterfly or a bit of washi.” Lol. Don’t forget the antlers.

Have done this process many times with all sorts f leftover stuff but somehow at this moment watching you and listening to your thought processes is soothing. Very enjoyable. Love the trick with the post-it note to ink the piece in situ. Thank you for sharing.

Took a break from cleaning and organizing my craft space to watch your video. So relaxing and I always get a helpful nugget or learn a different way to use things. I have a couple questions - When you print digitals, do you print on copy paper or cardstock? And don't hate on me, but what are your feelings on glitter? LOL
Glitter is a personal choice, I can stand it and don’t have it in my studio because it goes everywhere but I’ve seen some incredible things done with glitter just nor my cup of tea. As for printing digitals I use presentation paper it’s a little heavier than copier paper and somewhat whiter.

I'm newer at the Junk Journal craft and have not done a master board. But after I get some sleep... 11:36 p.m. now, I'll be making one from my scrap box ! 😊❤ P. S. I just found a 12x12 album like this on amazon for nothing and when I saw it I remembered this video, so now I have somewhere to create and have the masterboards (or maybe an art book, might order another one for that price) in order till I will use them. I am a neatfreak too and a perfectionist. (I struggle like you with my work too, I really relate) One thing I do not like is clutter and this book is an amazing idea for me, no loose papers I don´t know where to keep. My craft area is in the bedroom too so i need my craftarea extra tidy and I don´t like to keep things out and looking so clutetred. i need things to store away so i can rest without creating anxiety. I wish you a wonderful upcoming week (sundayevening as I write this) / Camilla
