Love your channel. Bought many things that you recommended. Thanks. I wouldn’t mind see video of your trips. Hiking, hanging out, setting up camp. Just saying. Thanks again.
Source are awesome. No.1 pick here in Israel by the IDF, not only because it's an Israeli company ("Shoresh" - Root), but because of the great quality and value.
I've been using source bladders for many years, never failed me. I have one that has been stressed due to a mountain bike wreck, but it's still holding strong. My only gripe is that I don't ever use the round hole and wish it wasn't on there.
Just in time review, thanks GT! BTW I contacted Knockaround re: sunglasses if you have to wear eyeglasses, they told me that you can take their glasses and get your prescription glasses fit into their frames! That Rock's, bc I'm extremely photo sensitive and bored to death of regular prescription frames, I can't wait to pick out some new frames 🤘👍
I have liked Source Tactical but have had some trouble with the Source Tactical Storm Non-Bite Hydration Valve leaking before... not sure why. It's a great system though, and I use this in conjunction with a Sawyer filter inline and it's overall my go to hydration system.
Is there anything new with source tactical with bladders? This video is two years old and I want to buy one of these but don’t want to buy an older model for go rucking.
Like you I had a meh reaction when I saw the video review title. After watching the video I see the advantages of the Source Hydration Pack. The mouthpiece cover, fill adapter and the fold over closure are all big pluses. I can see how those features justify the $50 cost. The foldover closure is why I went with the Platypus hydration pack two years ago when I purchased four of them for my three kids and I. I will consider this hydration pack when I need to replace one of my platypus bags. Was not aware Platypus sold a mouthpiece cover. Platypus does sell a cover for the tube as an add on. Not sure on cost.
Nice background for the video. Don't know the name of the lake but I have seen that lake and mountains in many photos. I remember one with a B-1 bomber making a low pass on the lake with a huge rooster tail. I could be wrong about that. Either way awesome background for the video.
Will the adapter kit work to back flush a sawyer squeeze from the backpack? Would love for a quick follow up video pairing it with a minimal filter system. I use a hydration pack but have to carry a smart water bottle to back flush and use as a dirty container. Does the squeeze fit the adapter?
Thank you aaron for this great review you sold me on this water bladdet i was looking for a heavy duty one like this do they offer a 3 liter or did i miss that
i am looking to get a all around survival knife but i'm debating if i should spend the extra money on an esee 5 or settle for a rat 5 or go super budget and get the 42d from scrade. is spending the extra $ really giving me extra performance that will make a difference?
My two cents also depends on your environment... Im in a humid climate and no matter how much i protected my knife it would always rust... and using for food prep = rust as well with 1095.... so think about that if you need or want stainless you can go with a mora or steel will knife... or heck go extra premium with a super steel if you have the cash.
i dont have the cash for premium. i live in a desert/mediterranean climate so less humid. i dont like mora because there knives have NO belly. but thank you anayway
#gideonstactical Great review, thank you for the info! Been thinking of doing a bladder system and whether I want to begin using one. Also, wish they would bring the GI Joe style back. Its been sold out for a while.
I’ve had the 1l kangaroo carrier and it’s been great for two years and still running strong
Love source bladders used it for like 5 years in the army, hands down the best system, only bad thing the bite valve gets leaky quickly.
“Running and gunnin and fallin down a mountain” 😂
yea happen every day ten times haha
Never down a mountain but i have become a human lawn dart in full gear. Good thing i had my helmet or id be dead lol

David Wolicki I would got with a happy medium of the Rat5 or 7

you are right. the rat 5 is only a few $ more then the 42d. thank you so much

Get the Schrade.
Is using a bladder a terrible idea for freezing / near freezing winter hiking? What’s my best option?
Just have it close to your body and tuck the tube into your jacket.
Does that fill adapter fit your camelbak antidote?
Nevermind
Does the UTA fit the canteen, collapsible 5qt?
Excellent review 👍
Theory behind 2 pairs of sunglasses?
Anthony Visconte just messing around with my buddies
gideonstactical i know. Just giving u a hard time
#gideonstactical Great review, thank you for the info! Been thinking of doing a bladder system and whether I want to begin using one.

how do you attach a Sawyer water filter to it
this system retails for $65 dollars now. Has demand increased? Has manufacturing material costs increased? Have consumers' wages increased?
Cool, but i'll stick with my Giegerrig.
wow no complains
2 is 1, 1 is none (sunglasses) 😆
👍👍👍👍
When I use a bladder, it’s a Source
