hey bud nice video! but i have a problem, when i export it from blender to id3 and open it in giants edditor all the windows and stuff are all over the place... and when i tried to move objects its really glitchy. can you help me?>
Before exporting any object from Blender make sure to apply rotation & scale. Origin points are really important on the object, sometimes it can be better to manually place it rather than just setting to the geometry. Parent/child hierarchy exported objects from Blender can in some cases cause duplicates of the same objects to be exported as a separate object, making it look like it's all gone wrong but deleting those duplicates will fix it.
@@shywizard2979 hi! i tried what you said, but sadly it still wont work. do you have discord or something? than i can send you a photo of what is happening.
@@kubiksiu_1883 U can not import an i3d file into Blender & must be exported first from the Giants editor as an obj. For FS22 there is a new Giants official i3d exporter available for download on the Giants developer network site gdn.giants-software.com/index.php
@@LilFuwatti Every version of FS uses i3d's no matter if it's a mod or base game. To get the objects into Blender u need to open the i3d in the Giants editor & export out as obj files. Then u import those obj files into Blender to make edits as required. Once done u would export out of Blender as an i3d using the Giants i3d exporter.
Currently there is no way to import an i3d into blender. U would need to export the object from the giants editor in the obj format & then import that into blender.
Thank you so much! Didn't know the trick to get the LXML thing running 👍😊
