Eddie I think I caught you saying you can spray Preludio and use a rinseless sponge right on top OR spray rinseless on top of Preludio then wash. Is that right?
So for those of us stuck in a garage without a foam cannon in the cold winter, this is the bees knees. Because before this we used APC, which leaves residues. And for the acid to tackle road salt, well, we didn't really have many solutions there.
Glad EC and Pan are doing a show together… They seem to be carrying the flag for Labocosmética, especially EC…which I’m glad! @@Ecdetails yes just like when we pre-spray the Rinseless before we use the same Rinseless in a bucket, correct? Except, this designed to be a better / dedicated primer.
I'm wondering Preludio acidic compares to Crystal Wash (since Sydni always does Crystal Wash and then straight into Absolute). Would be interested to see how those two do side by side with the same rinseless. I don't think I ever told you, but the first wash I did with Rrw was on my wife's car that was still salt encrusted. I did some experimenting with Ammo Frothe Anti-Salt as a pretreatment, the combo of the two worked great and Frothe cut through the salt and grime very well while Rrw killed off the suds from the Frothe. I'll be trying that out more this winter and comparing to these. I'm glad you tested these with other rinseless washes. Idrosave is great, but not for me with my personal vehicles. I'm glad they updated the website and labeling for Idrosave now, it's too bad they weren't more forthcoming about the protection earlier.
"Eddie Delivers", looking at this, the pressure washer is going to get real dusty. So weekly washes to clean up bird bombs, rain and sprinkler spotting, and Audi wheels. I have RRW, ECH2O, DIY, Hero, and Feynlab, which will work with this? I've resisted trying the Idrosave, niot needing the protection on a coated car. Thinking it may be good for the other, uncoated car. BTW, it seems you"re fueling the Rinseless race. I bet other companies see this, and start creating like product.
You still digging this Eddie? About to pull the trigger. Thinking this is a great solution for rain spots that have sat for a week in the sun. How is the alkaline on wheels and tires?
Hey Eddie are you also gonna review HPC 2.0 by labo? 🤔 Also, italian tip: you can make a super quick detailer by using Idrosave 1:100 as a waterless and adding to the solution a 10% of one of the two Preludio, with this you'll have a waterless solution tending to an alkaline or acid PH making it an amazing lubricated QD able to eat dirt or minerals
Hi Eddy, can you compare is side by side to touch less/decon soap such as NEXTZEN decon foam? I think there are a lot of doubters that still don’t see the value in 3 seperate products.
So I ordered the preludo and already had the idrosave, I diluted the preludo 5/1 in a ik sprayer sprayed it on my car let it dwell for a couple min then went over it with idrosave and it cleaned the car very well but I had heavy spotting on my coated head lights and the plastic trim on the doors between the windows that was not there prior! the whole car has c6 hydro lite including the plastic trim and head lights so im not sure what happened. I did the process in side my shop in about a 78 degree temp! 🤷🏻♂
@@Ecdetails no sir. I sprayed the preludo on the whole car let it sit for a minute or two then washed the car with idrosave and dried. Paint felt super clean and smooth but I noticed spots almost like water spots.
Not sold on why i would complicate the rinseless wash process. I need to know why and what these products can do that the best rinselesss products in 2024 can't already do by themselves. The beauty of rinseless is its simplicity, super cost effective at 256:1, and quick. So why do i want to mix up an additional sprayer, with a significantly worse dilution ratio (3oz in a liter???) , when DIY rinseless w/ surfactants already cleans so well? Do you believe it actually cleans better than the best rinselesses alone? Need a video showing preludio solving a problem that my current rinseless cant solve.
So I’ll disagree a bit , and hear me out I use rinslesss 99% of my business so I use apc soak for gnarly cars spray off with a pressure washer and gnarly I don’t mean mud , more like winter which from that perspective it won’t change right mud Preludio ain’t doing anything but for bugs heavy bugs I used Preludio my detial keg and a tinslesss and it worked as good as my old flow Apc rinse Spray off Rinseless prespray Contact wash For me it removes the need for an apc but again that’s me.
Yeah I only use rinseless, but personally if there’s a car that is super bad, I’m not just going to go straight in with the sponge. I’ll spray either an apc or high ph soap on everything to break it down a lot and rinse most of it off before the contact wash. Preludio can just be sprayed on and wiped away after it’s softened and emulsified the dirt, so you can eliminate a rinse step. I think it would be great for bugs. We get a ton of bugs where I’m at, and when there’s some that the rinseless won’t get, you can give it an extra spray on there to break it down.
@@Ecdetails cool, thats what i thought "a safer alternative to spray apc on hot panel" and maybe out here in Cali we just dont get that much weird stuff on the cars like salts etc. maybe next time your erasing some bugs you grab us some footage of preludio vs regular rinseless. 👍
@@Ecdetails update! i was sent the wrong sprayer. if you use a high volume sprayer like a standard Tolco it turns into a cluster. The tiny little clear/white low volume sprayer is key.
It’s a good idea, I get the premise of this, I’m already doing something similar just powered washer tho to blast off more contaminants. So the contact wash is so much easier with the sponge. Yeah I get it, it’s like the hybrid wash as y’all call it that I’ve been doing for years now. Lay down the heavy cleaner and it breaks down anything organic or inorganic from adhering to the paint. But it doesn’t drag it down the rinseless does that. So you’d use the detail keg in theory to rinse down what the alkaline or acids cleaner has broken lose and the rinseless trapped. You then rinse it down with the keg or use the traditional rinseless method. I’m gonna rinse it down. With my little washer. Then do the traditional rinseless. I know it sounds like a lot but it happens real fast. Now that I’ve seen it I get it, but imo you gotta rinse it off. Then do the rinseless.
@@Ecdetails I feel you the rinse with the little powered washer is a whole different level when it comes to work like this. At 150psi it’s more than the keg or other washers so it’s enough to rinse down but it’s also 1.1 gpm so it’s got great volume for 150psi. So instead of the rag and the wipe and fold method and all that I just rinse down what I just loosened up then a sponge rinseless it’s so much less debris on the panel. I feel you tho, I’m hooked on this little washer tho, plus I can foam with the little foamer I showed you so if this foams oh yeah it’s gonna be mad fun. Anyhow have a great day bro I’m out.
I went with 256:1 using distilled water. Just make sure you do each panel one at a time, including your pre-spray. And stay out of the sun. Do this in a garage.
Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I meant how did you use Preludio? Did you spray the whole car with Preludio wait a minute or two and then spray the car with Idrosave or did you blend Idrosave with Preludio as Labocosmetica suggest, 10% Preludio in the Idrosave mixture? I’ve so far used Primus 2.0 as my prewash, rinse and then a contact wash with either Idrosave or DIY Rinseless. Now I have ordered the Preludio and I’m wondering what would be the best way to use it. Before contact wash or blending it in with Idrosave. DIY detail, Rinseless has surfactants in with the polymers but I believe that Idrosave alone has only polymers. You can add the surfactants by blending in Preludio. Am I wrong?
John this isn’t idrosave this should came out with idrosave they even said it , but you do what makes you happy - note it says don’t use the alkaline cleaner in extreme heat if you do use it
@@Ecdetails obviously not you because you use it, them folks in the comments. Sleeping on Preludio like a hibernating bear. I’m saying them , they can keep sleeping on it. So I’ll always have stock to buy it, I’ve found other ways to use it with other products I ain’t saying about either. But yeah I’m cool if they sleep on it.
Eddie is right. The correct way to figure dilution is the amount of liquid 1000 ml divided by the equals parts 10+1= 11 so you divide 1000 by 11 = 90.9 ml
Eddie did the calc like he was trying to make exactly 1000ml of product at 10:1. All he needed to do is add 100ml of product to 1000ml of water to make a 10:1 dilution.
@BXGreen not even close dude. 10:1 means 10 parts water, 1 part product. PERIOD. There's no other way to do it. 15:1 means 15 parts water and 1 part product, resulting in 16 total parts. I think we need to make a detailing dilution video for people. The fact that anyone gave you a thumbs up really is troublesome.
@@mikezupancic2182 One of the most common errors in figuring out how much diluted product will result from a certain ratio is forgetting to add the amount of the concentrate to the total. For example, 1-ounce of a product diluted at 1:64 makes 65-ounces, not 64. This includes not only the 64-ounces of dilutant, but also the original 1-ounce of concentrate.

Thanks for sharing your experience , these work soo good with other rindlesss washes and it does well on dirty dirty bugs and dirt
Eddie!!! How do I get Idrodsave off my car?!
I’m high ph soap
@@Ecdetails my pressure washer is going to bish. It’s been on a long hiatus.

Big E, used Preludio Acidic today for first time and got lots of streaking. Any idea what I did wrong? Help! Ty. 1:50 diluted
With Preludio I let sit 30 seconds then pre spray rindless on top and clean
"Eddie Delivers", looking at this, the pressure washer is going to get real dusty. So weekly washes to clean up bird bombs, rain and sprinkler spotting, and Audi wheels. I have RRW, ECH2O, DIY, Hero, and Feynlab, which will work with this? I've resisted trying the Idrosave, niot needing the protection on a coated car. Thinking it may be good for the other, uncoated car.
BTW, it seems you"re fueling the Rinseless race. I bet other companies see this, and start creating like product.
I've never seen Eddie read instructions 🤔.... Thanks for the review!!!
Turning over a new leaf! Lol
Pretty interesting technology. The best part was when you said “no secrets” and took off your hat. Now that’s no cap!
Haha thanks bro
Great video. It's nice to have the graphics.
Thanks man
Do I really need the acidic one or can I get away with just getting the alkaline ?
Nope and you don’t need to use every time either
@@Ecdetails now I’m overthinking things 🤔😂 what would I use the acidic one for?
You still digging this Eddie? About to pull the trigger. Thinking this is a great solution for rain spots that have sat for a week in the sun. How is the alkaline on wheels and tires?
Use it every day almost bro
Hey Eddie are you also gonna review HPC 2.0 by labo? 🤔
Also, italian tip: you can make a super quick detailer by using Idrosave 1:100 as a waterless and adding to the solution a 10% of one of the two Preludio, with this you'll have a waterless solution tending to an alkaline or acid PH making it an amazing lubricated QD able to eat dirt or minerals
HPC 2.0 and HPC pro will be available very soon 🤪
Ya I’m testing it all haha appreciate you for watching
Hi Eddy, can you compare is side by side to touch less/decon soap such as NEXTZEN decon foam?
I think there are a lot of doubters that still don’t see the value in 3 seperate products.
Ya I can do a follow up video ill add it to the pipeline got 2 videos to edit in front o it
So I ordered the preludo and already had the idrosave, I diluted the preludo 5/1 in a ik sprayer sprayed it on my car let it dwell for a couple min then went over it with idrosave and it cleaned the car very well but I had heavy spotting on my coated head lights and the plastic trim on the doors between the windows that was not there prior! the whole car has c6 hydro lite including the plastic trim and head lights so im not sure what happened. I did the process in side my shop in about a 78 degree temp! 🤷🏻♂
Hey what you mean you had spotting did idrosave dry ?
@@Ecdetails no sir. I sprayed the preludo on the whole car let it sit for a minute or two then washed the car with idrosave and dried. Paint felt super clean and smooth but I noticed spots almost like water spots.
Now I am curious :) Do you use it with Detailco's?
Can use it with any rinslesss
This stuff is an apartment dwellers dream when you don’t have access to a hose.
Ya it’s gonna hit for sure 👍🏾 we’ll see how it does for everyone else

Ya man so far loosing weight feeling great appreciate ya man
Eddie, have you visited the island?🇵🇷
Been along time
I thought the purpose of using a low ph with a high ph was to get a touchless like chem-X.
Nah it’s made for rinseless washing so you don’t have to spray off
You can add either to a waterless wash solution of Idrosave, or perhaps even another brand.
Any brand you want for either waterless or rinseless works as good or better depending on the rinseless cleaning wise
@@Ecdetails looks like I’m going to have to rearrange all my stuff again to try and make some space 😂

You inspired to wash my car Eddie lol Getting slack. Used absolute, i don't like it personally. I only have a few oz left.
Haha got the coupon code working for ya ec15 Canada site
Not sold on why i would complicate the rinseless wash process. I need to know why and what these products can do that the best rinselesss products in 2024 can't already do by themselves. The beauty of rinseless is its simplicity, super cost effective at 256:1, and quick. So why do i want to mix up an additional sprayer, with a significantly worse dilution ratio (3oz in a liter???) , when DIY rinseless w/ surfactants already cleans so well? Do you believe it actually cleans better than the best rinselesses alone? Need a video showing preludio solving a problem that my current rinseless cant solve.
So I’ll disagree a bit , and hear me out I use rinslesss 99% of my business so I use apc soak for gnarly cars spray off with a pressure washer and gnarly I don’t mean mud , more like winter which from that perspective it won’t change right mud Preludio ain’t doing anything but for bugs heavy bugs I used Preludio my detial keg and a tinslesss and it worked as good as my old flow
Apc rinse
Spray off
Rinseless prespray
Contact wash
For me it removes the need for an apc but again that’s me.

Love your channel it's fantastic.
That said I just got my bottle of Nitido glass cleaner from Labo and it's objectively terrible.
You don’t like it? I have to compare it to traceless , I think traceless is wild
That's weird , Nitido is amazing !
@@Ecdetails what color is your sprayer? Mine shipped with a blue colored one.
And yeah I dunno. I actually got mad streaking. I was stunned.
@@Ecdetails where'd you score Traceless in the USA? It DOES look wild!
Difference is I don’t need water I can rindless over no issue
Too bad we can't use the discount code in canada...looks like labo has a new canadian site Mafra Canada.
What
I’ll get the fixed that stupid
You can use it , same promo code
@@davidrichard4203 i noticed that. Thanks!
I went with 256:1 using distilled water. Just make sure you do each panel one at a time, including your pre-spray. And stay out of the sun. Do this in a garage.
Love this stuff
Finally! dilutions are easy 1:10 is 1/11x1000 for a liter bottle. 1:5 would be 1/6x1000 - 167ml of product in a 1000ml bottle.
Me and dilutions is like me I a small shirt gross bro haha 😆
Eddie, can you pre spray the whole car?
I did half the car directions say extreme heat avoid so I did 9’e whole side
Thanks Eddie!
I think it could be a great product to unclog a coating few times in a year without a hose 👍
Ya dope stuff man
@@Ecdetails you try it with Feynlab V3 ?
It will give surfactants++++ 🙈
When and how did you use Preludio?
Since it came out , for cars in other videos , for other jobs , like 3 liters already
Am I wrong?
Nice Eddie
Thanks sir
Thanks brother, fun fuct the literal translation for Preludio is : Foreplay😂

LMFAO 10:1 is not 91ml to 1000ml. Its 100ml to 1000. You got tought bayou math.
Now i gotta spend even more to use my Idrosave.
Eddie is right. The correct way to figure dilution is the amount of liquid 1000 ml divided by the equals parts 10+1= 11 so you divide 1000 by 11 = 90.9 ml
Hey don’t be insulting no bayou math now
Eddie did the calc like he was trying to make exactly 1000ml of product at 10:1.
