An absolutely fearless man. A man with the gift of reason. A man who knew what workers needed and how managers thought. A man who, though not well-educated, could figure things out and figure out what needed to be done next. I always wanted to be a Teamster.
@@maxfieldstanton4541Not that easy. Billionaires and mega corporations control much of what goes on in the United States. They also didn’t control over 90 percent of the media back in 1959.

Despite dropping out in the 9th grade, Jimmy Hoffa had more tact, critical thinking, brains, willpower and ability than most people today with PhDs. Today’s discussions and hearings feel like clown shows that are parodies. This old black and white broadcast feels like you’re hearing a real debate between real men, who looked like actual men and were determined enough to tackle difficult issues.
Jimmy made mincemeat out of these reporters. He had answers to every one of their questions. We need more men like him to run our unions. Sure, he's no angel but please, look at his background and you will see how he rose to be the man he is.
I can see how this guy is a great leader, along with having some balls. What im not sure on is if he's someone we should really look up to. I've personally experienced my employment becoming unionized to a pre-existing union. Super shady those guys were; felt like a big circlejerk as well. All kinds of high talk and dramatic speeches. At one point the guy from the union i just meet calls me "brother"
This old black and white footage shows they were bought and paid for generations ago. Really pathetic that people just buy into everything corporate media says.
Hoffa should have simply pointed out that there is NO provision in the US Constitution for Congress to regulate LABOR, only COMMERCE between the States. Thus, even the Executive branch Department of Labor is a farcical sham; as was this interview. Where's Jimmy? 🤔😎

ABSOLUTELY. Well defined. We need more people like Hoffa in public life.
@@dalereynolds7638 I'm working on that one; it's harder for The People to get into the House of the People than it is for corporations.

Thanks for doing the right thing. R.I.P Jimmy Hoffa
He died????
@@MetalManiac-ex5nu well, even though he was never found, he would be dead by now regardless, he would be 110 years old today.
Hoffa totally OWNED these CBS lightweights

This program shows us we had a conservative, corporate, and anti-union media way back in 1959.
The contributions Hoffa made are open to debate. But there’s no doubt he made a lasting impact on how unions work in the USA.
can you give me some examples of modern day anti-union media?

Yeah, anyone who would continuously deride the Government and the underworld is beyond ballsy, they're crazy!
