Dixie and Cash just don't work. Not because either of them is necessarily awful, both have their issues. Cash loses what's important when he smells fame, but Dixie can be really awful. Still, both have their positive sides. He does thaw, when he is reminded, that he is being too harsh, too far gone with his ambition, while Dixie is able to do right when she realizes, that she did wrong. She was very honest and tried to help, after everything went wrong. They just both don't work together. Both have their ego, both hurt each other, so why not try something new. This is very sweet.
