I started with guitar and all, but the other day I ran my MPC One thru a Boss RE-2 Space Echo for the preamp mode. My new workflow.

Exactly what I’m looking for atm.
A cool effects pedal for live tweaking and playing live for techno..
So many options out there currently…

Have you tried the Korg nts-1 as an effects pedal? Its pretty great for the price, which is often under $100

That’s more of a multi FX thing which I’ll surely cover in future FX pedal videos!

I skipped a little through this, but it looks like you address some things I asked in an online group recently. Will skip back through a bit later.
Cant wait to see more like this and I'm excited to get to work on using the effects I have. The latest MPC update has a few more options I'm going to try. Cheers for the inspiration Liam!

Boss is the best here for the price. Analog warm tones, many options, natural stereo. Prefer it even to UA. Mobius is good pedal, but very old. Like all old Strymons it has fake strange stereo. Others sound way more badly than VSTs.

I actually really like Mobius ! I find that it just sits really well with my set up.

Mobius is an absolute jackhammer of a pedal. It should be mandatory in every serious studio.

Nice video. Well explained but the Voodoo Lab is definitely not the best way to power your pedals. I use a Cioks power supplier and it is much much better in every way. First it adapts on different power so if you go to a country that has a different voltage outlet you needn't a power converter. It can power more things with more options. I use it to power my pedals and synths so I only need one power outlet. It's much smaller and it's much lighter. It also has no risk to create floor noise unlike the Voodoo. Also the Cioks generates less heat after long use. The only good thing I can think about the Voodoo compared to the Cioks power supplier is that the Voodoo is easier to find in second hand markets for cheaper. No one will sell their cioks.

This voodoo labs power supply is also an isolated power supply and has international switching. It can also power 8 pedals at .85 lbs vs CIOKS DC8 at .75 lbs. You might be confusing it with voodoo labs non isolated pedal power supplies that weigh considerably more.
However you can find the Cioks DC8 new on Sweetwater for less than the voodoo labs pedal power 3 new.
