- B/W Kinescope Very RARE Original ABC Network print with all original commercials (Ralston/Chex Cereal) as broadcast on Saturday, December 12, 1953, entitled "The Robot's Escape". This appears to be a lost show of this early TV series.

The announcer over the opening credits was Dick Tufeld. He made that great yell of Space Patrol on both radio and TV. The voice of the robot from Lost in Space among others.
I read an article about restoring the Terra 5. It was wood, with hatches made of eyelets- and painted yellow to look silver on TV.!

Was this show done live at KECA channel 7 in Hollywood? The announcer doing the first commercial looks like Jack Narz.
Since the kid calls him Captain Narz, yes.
I wonder how Ed Kemmer liked doing advertisements AND acting at the same time ?
I gather it was pretty par for the course for most television shows at the time.
It is unthinkable that man still has not learned the danger of Retardo Ray exposure, and that our leaders still use Retardo Rays to further their ends. A lesson to be learned here for sure, and thanks for the Space Hotties 👨🚀
The space hotties in short skirts showing gorgeous legs. That's the main reason I watch these.

How on Earth did " Retardo ray" get past the censors?. I had to hear it twice before I thought it was real. How could the actors keep a strait face saying it?.
