You can see small glimpses of a good story in Sticker Star if you look close enough. The unused animations for Mario heavily imply a lot of scrapped cutscenes, like Mario thinking while walking. I really hope that game can finish what it started in 2028.

With the exception of 64 & TTYD of course. He does an " what if " these Paper Mario games were different than the originals & how can we make it better. He comes up with phenomenal ideas and his Sticker Star scenario is no exception.
Short Answer: The Paper Mario series would have a much better reputation today and it wouldn't have had to wait over a decade to become "good" again. I really liked the early stages of sticker star, but I really think if not that, they should have chosen a playstyle similar to Super Paper Mario because it being on the 3Ds, it would have made a great use of the 3D feature the console had, and on top of that, it would seem like a proper sequel to the Wii game. Obviously we would need the older ideas and not generic ones to make that work regardless, but it would have made the game more decent then what we got as a final result.
The only thing I really enjoyed doing in “Sticker Star”, “Color Splash” and “The Origami King” was completing the museums. Museums hold treasures of the world out there, and a seeker always strives to learn about them. “Sticker Star” and “Color Splash” unfortunately had my least favorite museums while “The Origami King” tops them off. I also wonder what “The Thousand-Year Door” would do for Art and Music? Each museum in the latest 3 games had those, so I would like to see that in the remake. It would also be cool if the remake had a museum. Even if they don’t have a museum in the remake, it’s no problem. “The Thousand-Year Door” remains as my most favorite Paper Mario game.
The sad fact about this is that sticker star was going to be completely different. When looking at the unused beta it was going to be a lot more unique and although miyamoto dismissed it as a “port of the GameCube version” and asked them to revise it. They shouldn’t have erased all the unique charm of the paper Mario franchise. They could of made it different from thousand year door and still have that unique charm

It doesn’t suck i’ve played every single paper Mario game from the Nintendo 64 the Wii version the GameCube version Even the one for the switch and my all-time favorite before I played sticker star was the thousand year old door but after I played sticker star iPhone love with this game and it became my number one paper Mario game in the world

I feel like Nintendo should follow Goomzilla & PaperMrio's styles of Paper Mario with creative storytelling, original characters, & RPG battles, but now I'm glad that Nintendo is starting to listen to their fans on fixing there RPG games.
Let's be honest... if Sticker Star had went in the direction of how the classic games were... we wouldn't have had those who were very avid TTYD fans be extremely toxic towards those who liked those games. Especially on the Paper Mario Subreddit itself where even praising Sticker Star over TTYD leads to those to be silenced. Maybe Mario and Luigi Paper Jam would have done far better and we might have gotten a Mario and Luigi 6, 7, possibly 8? and we wouldn't have a dead franchise because they wouldn't have done remakes. In an alternative future, people like Chuggaconroy wouldn't have gone on his whole Sticker Star rant, as he would have been fine with it and would have done all the Paper Mario Games. Same with someone like Arlo, who was honestly the pioneer of the whole hashtag remakettyd thing. Honestly, I'd be fine if Origami King stayed the same but Sticker Star and Color Splash changing would have been a nice idea.
Nah, I like the modern Paper Mario games :). Mainly Origami King, which in my opinion is the best Paper Mario. Maybe a few things could’ve been better, but I still think it’s the best
Alright. I understand you and some others might not like the newer games, but the crapping on Sticker Star thing is getting EXTREMELY old. This game has been out for like 11 years and honestly you’re just beating a dead horse at this point.
sticker star, color splash, and oragami king should not be compared to thousand year door and 64 but they are good. really you shouldn't compare Minecraft to terria would you?
Thats a false equivalency. Minecraft and Terraria are not part of the same game series while all of the Paper Mario games are PART OF THE PAPER MARIO SERIES. Because they are part of the same series it is fair to compare them to each other. Why would you not compare them to each other? You think Zelda or Mario fans don't compare the different games in there respective series with each other? If its fine for them to compare those games to each other why not the Paper Mario games? To me you sound like your trying to cope with the fact that Sticker Star is a bad game. "DoN'T CoMPAre THaT to tHe BEtteR GaMe. ThAT MAkEs it lOoK bAD!" @@KuwaitMaps Its the Paper Mario series. Its not the same as the platformer games and thats why we expect it to have a good story because its an RPG and because the previous Paper Mario games had better stories.
I really want to know if modern mario and Paper mario are the same person
I think sticker star is great, i think nintendos stories arent great anyway so it dosent bother me. Nintendo is good at gameplay. Idk why story is that important imo!
Please make an earthbound/mother 3 video
Me the only human who actually enjoyed the game:
Wrong
@@saxtonhale6029 I’m not the only one
Best paper Mario for me
@@thaomeelayadi that game is my first actual
Make it four!
Okay, Sticker Star in my opinion never did suck, it wasn’t the best game, but I thought it was great (And nostalgic now too)
👇 Agree?
i agree too, because I love this game, but the hate from this game breaks my heart.
The ink jars were my concept art
I love this game idc what anybody says
I prefer Sticker Star
Now give us a timeline where Mario and Zelda sucked
Its called real life
Hi!
Hi SVLF5287, the creator, animator, artist, composer, and host of The NES House!
Why do these bot comments get so many likes? Are people really that gullible?
Sticker star doesn’t suck it just isn’t as good as the other paper Mario games.
It doesn’t suck i’ve played every single paper Mario game from the Nintendo 64 the Wii version the GameCube version Even the one for the switch and my all-time favorite before I played sticker star was the thousand year old door but after I played sticker star iPhone love with this game and it became my number one paper Mario game in the world
Dude, we know this already. We get it, Sticker Star Bad, turn-based combat good. You can stop talking about it anytime now.
Also something I noticed: your channel description states you as a news source, so if you were trying to be a credible news source, you would try to mitigate bias as much as you can. Yet you have more bias than if my mother was on jury for my murder trial. I’m kind of embarrassed that I used to watch your videos. Disappointing.
NOT SCIENTFICLLY POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!
Paper mario sticker star was never a bad game
This is the biggest filler epoisode I’ve ever seen
Sticker star was not that bad
I feel like Nintendo should follow Goomzilla & PaperMrio's styles of Paper Mario with creative storytelling, original characters, & RPG battles, but now I'm glad that Nintendo is starting to listen to their fans on fixing there RPG games.
We get it sticker star bad game can we please move on with our lives
Can't we start talking about a different topic?
To be fair it isn't just "TTYD fans" that are toxic...
Nah, I like the modern Paper Mario games :). Mainly Origami King, which in my opinion is the best Paper Mario. Maybe a few things could’ve been better, but I still think it’s the best
I like origami King and color splash I think they get to much hate from sticker star and not being like thousand year door or the original paper mario
I don't know what your talking about Paper Mario Sticker Star is an amazing game
Do you need to blow your nose?
ThAT MAkEs it lOoK bAD!"
Im sorry but Sticker Star already is a bad game even if you don't compare it to the previous games anyway.
@@ProjectionProjects2.7182 fine would you copare mother to mother 3?
@@Keith_police_quest_2 Yeah, are they not part of the Mother series? Ive never played them but I don't see why I would not compare them if I did.
@@ProjectionProjects2.7182 mother is more of older rpg styled like dragon quest and mother 3 is like paper mario but there both great in their ways like sticker star and color splash
@@Keith_police_quest_2 Well you just compared them. So the answer to your question is: Yes you can compare them. I would compare them to if I played both.
I personally am not a big fan of the 1st 2 paper Mario Games
What one is your favourite?
Sticker star is a 3DS Games and you won't be playing it for a long bit time just a little bit so It's only bad if you compare it to the other at the other older paper Mario games
No its also just bad on its own as well. The game has a ridiculous amount of back tracking that wastes your time and world 3 is horrible. Sticker Star is my fist and the only Paper Mario game I have ever played and I still think it sucks. Even with no previous Paper Mario games to compare it to I still think its a bad game.
Unrelated but since Pokémon is an rpg, it would be cool if there was a collab of Paper Mario and pokemon
But it didnt suck. Sticker star was incredibly fun
Can’t we just be excited about TTYD without dumping on the newer games for the one hundred and eightieth time? I’m so sick of this.
Paper msrio has the most petty manchild fanbase of all time
Yes! I understand that some people don’t like the newer games and that is completely fine, but constantly dunking on them is not going to solve anything.
47 seconds and no views? This channel really fell off
Wut
It's not, i'm a new subscriber! 😅
ok
Well I am from a third timeline where TTYD is the worst of them all and Sticker Star is by far the best!
But I love your universes version of TTYD and hate your version of Sticker Star 🤮! TTYD would here probably be my favourite game of all time, but in my universe it’s Sticker Star
All paper mario games suck
