You’re making great progress so far! I’m making a commercial game with Construct 3 and this engine continues to surprise me more and more all the time. I’ve spent hundreds of hours in it and I just love how there’s so much you can do with it. Your DND game looks pretty amazing so far! Can’t wait to see more videos! ❤
it's great, I wanted to make my own application for the DND party in winter (we play with friends every week), but I abandoned the project, so I had to make an adaptation for phones, but I was too lazy
This is a great idea. Potentially putting a lot of overpriced apps out of business. Presumably you're not manually scaling the sprites for every background. You'll have an EveryTick action, that checks which background you're on, and changes them to predefined dimensions?
Could just have an extra column in the JSON on what size to scale each icon for each layout. And then scale on start of layout. From playing a campaign last night, more map option (maybe select location then a second list to see variations and other floors) Also a way to double click on character to make them transparent to show they are in the area still but not in the main action or on the same floor. Finally many maps have a day night option but a basic overlay would be helpful. Thinking a part 2 with everyone's ideas.
Hey Reilly, is there any way to reach out for construct 3 related questions other than these comments? if not, i presume i can just ask here.. I dont have construct premium, so events are a huge issue and really limit my ability to make cool games. so i have this question: I have a lineup of 10 of the same objects next to each other. i want to make one move up, but i dont know how to reference that instance of the object in particular. i could make the object move up, but that would make them all move up. is there any simple way to make only one of the 10 objects move up without making an entirely new object? thanks in advance!!
Hi Joris. It's depends on what the requirement is for allowing an object to move up. Easiest way is to add a variable to each one and then check on key pressed and object number = 1. Move up
Hello friend, I need help with the construct timeline, I want to create a path for a 4-movement sprite, that is, the sprite walks front - left - right - back....if you could help me make the sprite change animation according to the path you take please.

Best of luck with your project!

I took a while to make but was worth it for a new group. Helped them get into the world faster.
Awesome looking stuff!
Dude, do you have discord?
Sadly not. Your not the first to ask. I really need to look at setting one up.

Why not just use Owlbear Rodeo? This seems much more complicated 😕
Two reasons, one I can customise this tool the way I want. But most importantly never heard of owlbear rodeo till now 🤣
Wow that's an impressive looking tool. Thanks for dropping that name. I would have never knew it existed otherwise. Terrible name lol.
