In 1985-86, I bought "The Tape Deck That Rules Them All". Yes, the Nakamichi Dragon. It was expensive but well worth it since I still have it and it still plays the tapes to perfection. Your collection of Nakamichi Tape decks is impressive to say the least. Your RX 505 is probably the sexiest tape deck of them all. Thanks for sharing.
Those Nakamichi High-Com noise reducers are hard to find. I was lucky to get mine when I did, from e-bay about a year ago. I'm not even sure if it works well. All I've done so far is connect a signal and test the meters. They work, so I'm hoping all is well. I plan to connect it some day. I recently tested a Sanyo Super-D noise reducer and was blown away at how good it performed. Your collection is amazing.
Very nice "Naka" colection you have there..I remember seeing that name on cassette decks at thrift stores back in the 90's but never new how good they were..I wished I had bought those back then..One of them looked huge and weight a lot..
On the second shelf in the left what model# is that cassette deck on the bottom of that stack. I have one that i bought at a garage sale this past weekend for $5.00 and works nicely. It almost looks same as yours.

Used to sell Nak Decks in Eugene, Or. years ago. Couldn't afford the 1000 or the Dragon but I did have a 480 and then an LX-3.....great stuff, elegant and as well sounding as any decks in their low/mid price range and a butt kicker above a grand. Expensive? Yes but you got what you paid for.
Not sure but it looks like the CD player CMS 7 is the source you´re using. What has that to do with Casstee Deck collection. And well , my collection is "a bit" more than your :-)
