Reminds of this hifi store in Germany that I went to in the mid 80's. It had every Nakamichi deck of that period on display in a room. What a glorious sight that was.
Teac made a closed cassette with internal reel to reel back in the mid 1980's in types I, II, & IV. As did Yamaha type IV, Eico type II, III, & IV, Hitachi types II, & IV and lastly BASF in type IV ( 1987-88 only). Smaller firms like Magna type II, EFG type II, Digitech type II, RCA Victor types II, & IV, National tape type I, Eagle type II also made reel to reel closed cassette blanks. Of course non held a candle to Teac's O'Casse open cassette changeable reel to reels for novelty. I have tons of Teac type IIs,, Eico type IVs , and a couple of Teac Cobalt type IVs that I've been recording some of my Vinyl to with my RX-202. Funny thing is, I personally prefer my plain Jane BASF CR Max type IIs, Denon HD type IIs, and TDK SA type IIs for sound.

Hahaha indeed :-)
Che BOMBA!
DRAGON > RX-505
I prefer the buttons on the DRAGON, especially the tape select lights, akin to the Technics RS-M95.
tell me, didi they cost very much for you?
Mi piacciono entrambi
The good ol' days...........
dragon best!
скажите мне, они стоят очень много для вас?
The Dragon is a way better deck than the RX-505, full stop.
The Rx-505 has indisputably a fancy appearance.
So what?
The Dragon is no doubt a better performing deck, however it’s worth noting that they share the same transport.
it's unique it the world of cassettedecks
@@64bakes ahahaha well said :)
@@64bakes RX-505 is capstan servo motor, while the Dragon has dual DD, otherwise yes.
I have the lower version of the Rx-505 I have the Rx-202 which is not bad at all.
Накамиши звук выдал фантастический. Но и r-500 стёбно открывается и делает реверс.
+Алексей Иванов слушаешь вот так кассетные записи и поражаешься,какую же мы хренотень слушали тогда))
What brand is the tape you are using. Looks like teac open reel but slightly different.
+goblin072 could be a Universum Low Noise

Вот только не понял, rx-500 или rx-50s. И какая фирма производитель. Инет не выдаёт то что надо. А моделькой этой заинтересовался. Россия, Питер.
