Even if you cut the tabs you need to file it smooth. There are several ways to do this job and they all seem to work fine. So what ever works for the person doing the job.
Just use fret cutters for tabs ND a some sandpaper PS polish ur rails using 3000 grit ND gun oil and make sure your u channel is smooth by fingering it using ur pinky ese
@@TheSmokey817 There is not "right way to do this job." there is not really anything you are doing that will need any particular fine sanding as the rails are metal and inserted once you finish making the frame. If you are referring to the actual steel rails, you don't need to polish them. It will work just fine without. If it makes you feel better you can get a Dremel and the polishing wool bits and some red rouge compound and polish the feed ramp and rails if you like. I don't think it will do all that much but it will not hurt unless its way over done. The U channel is the same. No need to polish, It should not touch anything of the barrel, spring or slide so as long as the clearance is good I would not worry about polishing it.
I don't know if you can buy it all one shot. Biden shut down the kit. But I did read the courts shut that down. You may have to buy them separately. But poly 80 is a good one and you can get them on sites like this www.80percentarms.com/glock-80-lower/
Not that I care but, it’s because you dremeled the tabs which can heat up the material and melt onto the frame. Makes it more sensitive when your doing precise work. Again not that I care but razoring the tabs off and a little sanding would of saved you some time. At least you tried to help others instead of just rag on people.
Do you mean the JIG? Unless you bought the frame alone from a third party it comes with the JIG. I sold this gun as I did not need it. I wanted to see how hard it was to make it. Turns out not hard at all.
U should just cutt the tabs they come out clean that way just get u some flat nose snips..from John from maine penobscot county
