Love your tutorials!!! You are very talented and have such a sweet voice! I am harvesting needles from a few broken branches on my loblolly pines. Heavy snow broke them. I plan on making a basket for my mom for Christmas. You inspired me!! 😊
What thread do you prefer, what brand and are they waxed ? I’ve been looking on Amazon and reading reviews for waxed thread and flat waxed thread , confusing for me any information would help. Thanks Beautiful basket!
I usually used 4-ply Irish waxed linen thread. One source is Royalwood Ltd. You can also look on Etsy for many other sellers. Another thread I like is called waxed poly cord. Check Etsy sellers for that one as well. Maine waxed cord I another of my favorites. It comes in some pretty, soft colors. I use .030” weight.
I tried this and my basket came out really sweet, thanks for sharing.

That’s great! Use dry brown needles or let the green ones dry in the sun. Have fun!
Perfect timing! I'm starting a new basket today. This one looks really pretty and super easy. Thanks LInda!
Beautiful done!!
