Wow, my mind is blown. I am so impressed. What a great way to manage your budget and not look tacky. It also saves rebuilding if all your crafting facilities are already built. Thank you for sharing
Would love to see more shelter-specific videos. Especially reviews of all the different shelters - because it's kind of intimidating to know where to start.
Oh, the wall in the bunker as a backdrop is actually perfect for the build I'm dropping right behind the bos outpost near vault 76. I'm going to put it in the bos bunker prefab with metal walls behind a vault entryway! Thanks for the inspiration and example!
Thanks Kiki. Wasn't planning to build a shelter but got inspired by the simple yet great looking house (#4). Works well with the army kit I just got off the current scoreboard. I was very pleased to upgrade from my chicken coop shack.
I can’t wait to try these!! Fantastic! I always just place my utility shelter door down, like a basement access, and then put all the different doors in the first room to access other shelters. I love this idea-especially for the mine shelters, which I haven’t really used yet. Thanks for the tips! And I love that you said “feeties”…I use that term too!
I’m forever grateful for stumbling upon your channel. Thanks to you I have an amazing base at the Harpers Ferry dam and I can’t wait to recreate some of these and learn more cool building tricks! Wishing you a cool Yule!
These are fun. The free utility shelter is the only thing that I have really tried to utilize much. Some decorating. 500 plus levels and my camps really are still big boxes.
I decided that the only things I will keep on the surface will be the benches and the vendor, and will move everything that can be moved underground. The little church for the bunker entrance is my favorite, thank you for the great ideas presented here. And hey... a year later since you posted this, Merry Xmas!
Good stuff. I always have shelter entrances in my camps but never thought about doing anything to spruce them up on the outside. Now for the inside, i've recently turned them into weird abstract art of conduits and wires and other just bizarro placements of items heh.
I use the mausoleum prefab and stick the abandoned mine entrance in the door. It snugs up nicely, though does waste a lot of space, unless you put the prefab hanging over the boundary of your camp.
New subscriber, I love all of your videos! What I'm most curious about is how to get the awesome outfits that you have. this blue suit, the one with the suspenders and computer on your hip, the Hawaiian shirt, I don't recognize them but I need them in my life, Thanks!
This suit is Atomic Shop (the Mobster suit), the very cool suspenders outfit is the K.D. Inkwell outfit from the season 3 or 4 scoreboard (will probably be in the shop at some point), and the Hawaiian shirt was FO1st. I'm working on an outfits video 😉
I fkn LOVE the Tardis idea, and you are REALLY good at this. I love building, but do t have the imagination. I have 2 Vault shelters and the 2 caves. Working on making them make sense.
If I can’t find a decent wall or cliff to put the entrance against I stick down the original hatch one put a entrance on the flat wall at the back and treat the entrance vault as a large corridor you could do this and put multiple vault entrances in there make each vault themed
This is a great idea, I did something like this when I first got into building on 76. I did something very similar to that haunted house you made. I love it! Great ideas as always, cheers!
The neighborhood square is so monumentally large next to every other shelter I modified my neighborhood square for a 12v12 team deathmatch and it's hilarious with cryo turrets to target griefers and wreck them
It occurs to me that, with your TARDIS build, instead of blocking off the windows, you could do what the BBC set designers did in the '60s -- put light boxes behind them. Just plain white light. I'm not currently high enough level to try it myself, so I don't know what it would do to build budget, or how many generators you'd need to power the light boxes, but it's a fun thought.
How do you make a shelter without having to have down one of the those C.A.M.P. modules? Isn't that camp thing that you place down what you use to make an area buildable? I tried placing my shelter entrance and then removing my C.A.M.P. module/device/thingy, but when I removed it, it made my shelter entrance disappear as well.
I love shelters, especially used like this but god is it irritating that I can't transfer stored structures between camps and shelters, having to start over completely has kept me from really investing in my shelters, but this might get me working on it again
I agree, it would be convenient if there was some kind of shared storage. Also, blueprints. And can I please build sinks and fridges? Even just dummy ones that don't actually function would be fine...
Sorry, I meant in shelters, wasn't clear about that. There are some items you can't build there because of certain functions that wouldn't work on an instanced space, so I really wish they'd give up non-functioning versions we could build in a shelter as decor.
@@kikibplays Ah, I didn't know that, being so new to shelters. You'd think implied plumbing and appliances spared the decay and electromagnetic destruction of the surface would be a given in shelters but I guess not lol

That's cool. People rarely visit shelter's. This would be a way to trick, wait I mean, "encourage" them to check out your shelter.
I know I'll always happily visit a shelter if the camp is cool!
Me as well
I love the small building at the end. They're ideal for small camps.
Creepy old house one is my favorite. Wow!

Thanks Kiki - some simple but, nice builds there and perfect for incorporating or just beginner camps

Cause we're cool 😎 I've been debating updating mine since I dyed my hair green last year tho...

I use the Communist Bunker as my shelter entrance. It is thick concrete and it's dome shaped. Perfect.
Very nice! Makes me wish I had those type shelters. Maybe later I'll get one. Love your builds. Merry Christmas.

Really nice tutorial! Really appreciate you sharing this.

I have to make a version of the cabin and haunted house with the cave entrance. That makes sense. :)

Hey for the post 2 weeks I’ve been looking for a Clean Tea Kettle, I have 6 spot I go look for it would you happen to know where to get one?
I have no idea, sorry!

Yeah, that's how it works. Shelter entrances have to be built in your camp.
What system do you play on?
Playstation

I might be doing it wrong but they Might have also fixed the message board through wall glitch
I'll check later
❤❤
And here i thought i was original with the Tardis build, should have assumed not
Can people enter your shelter? Bc I don't want people enter my shelter
😅👍
The only thing i don't like about this, is that someone can place his base on your area and block your shelter building
