I agree with you. I’m tired of hearing people talking as fast as a machine gun, using slang, and lots of people using four letter words in every other sentence. I went out for lunch today with my husband and the two middle aged ladies on the next table with loud voices were using four letter words all the time.

I fell asleep watching the video last night, as is so relaxing and peaceful to me sometimes. This morning I'm enjoying my coffee with Kevin's world to start my day. I'm behind on my memorial day gardening, but watching your show gives me hope and encouragement to get going. The boxwood looks perfectly beautiful, all ready for the summer season. That Bundt cake looks delicious! Extra special with the rubarb compote. Fun to see the cats lounging on the oriental/Persian rug, like they own the place. So cute! It is super easy to grow and a great producer!! I live in North Carolina and it does great year round!!

I just loved this video. My husband and I just got done planting flowers and herbs around our house. When I was young I planted twice as much all on one day. Now it takes mostly my husband a week to get things planted. I must say it was worth the effort.

I could imagine a delicious twist to the cake recipe would be to add lemon extract and lemon zest in place of the almond extract. Later this summer when peaches are ripe, use the vanilla and almond extract in the cake and top it with fresh peach slices or a peach compote. Delicious!

My favorite pound cake is a lemon sour cream that calls for a pound of butter, 8 ounces of sour cream, and 8 eggs in the recipe. Thank the Stars for that Kitchenaid Artisan. It fills my fancy Nordic Ware pan nearly to the rim. I confess to licking the spatula.

I made this pound cake for my daughters birthday. It was delicious. Definitely a keeper. I substituted lemon extract for the almond extract and topped it with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
I remember when you had your boxwoods shaped last year and you showed a picture of how you first planted those little seedlings and then designed and planted all of those little tiny boxwood plants. You can’t imagine how many times I have thought of you doing that feeling so impressed at the immense job and the beauty of it at the end. You are so inspiring all the time. I am so impressed.
Fabulous video! A note: You might be interested in trying a highly prolific, indeterminate Roma-like (though smaller) tomato called "Juliet." I find that Roma's tend to have hard shoulders, so some of the tomato is wasted. Not so with Juliets. Plus, they're FABULOUS for roasting, and they're known for not splitting.
