Kevin I loved the way you set a place for me to have tea and cake with you in your videos...I have never been treated so nice in all my life. Thank you 😊
Not only am I a follower for absolutely everything you show us, I'm devoted to you because of your correct grammar and pronunciation. In today's world, it's music to my ears.
I agree with you. I’m tired of hearing people talking as fast as a machine gun, using slang, and lots of people using four letter words in every other sentence. I went out for lunch today with my husband and the two middle aged ladies on the next table with loud voices were using four letter words all the time.
Our ailing world needs more like you. You are a calming, lovely soul with a beautiful home, sweet pets and you work magic in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing! Love you!
Hi Kevin. It's Raquel.I want to thank you for Saving Avery from the shelter 8 Year's ago from going to Die you are her Hero and mine for doing that for your Avery.Love Raquel.❤
I fell asleep watching the video last night, as is so relaxing and peaceful to me sometimes. This morning I'm enjoying my coffee with Kevin's world to start my day. I'm behind on my memorial day gardening, but watching your show gives me hope and encouragement to get going. The boxwood looks perfectly beautiful, all ready for the summer season. That Bundt cake looks delicious! Extra special with the rubarb compote. Fun to see the cats lounging on the oriental/Persian rug, like they own the place. So cute! Avery having tea and cake with you, looking on with hopeful eyes. Adorable pup! I like that you have found those special tomatoes. I have never seen them as plants for sale, but are good for making sauce and soups I think. Thank you for the video. Take care and have a great weekend. See you in the next video.♥️🌿🍅🍰🫖🐕🐈⬛🐈
Kevin, I love your green enamel pot! That is a most pleasing shade of green. Your gardens look fabulous. Thank you for sharing your time with us! You cake looks much better than the one in the cookbook photo. I especially enjoy our trips with you to the garden market and the farm store! Another great video. Thank you.
There"s so many good things about this video, that I've lost count! Towards the end, I saw my favorite table cloth already set up on the tea time room table! Thanks. 🤓 It's very comforting and lovely pleasant in your living room/tea room. Your garden, and over all landscape, is looking better and better. I didn't like the sight of the winter cold snow covered garden months back. ***** Thanks for showing us how to make Rubarb Compote. Thanks again for giving it your all, and giving us your best!! We ❤ You!
The hedge trimming looks magnificent...and knowing you grew that hedge from small rooted transplants makes it all extremely amazing from start to finish 😊
Kevin, I just discovered your channel a couple months ago, and I can’t get enough. When I am needing a breath of fresh air, I always come back to your channel. I appreciate everything that you provide to us. Very calming and informative. Thanks so much!
When you held up the sprig of Boxwood, I tried to imagine all that you had done with your boxwood cuttings to make the magnificent formal boxwood gardens over 18 years. Wow. There is no one like you Kevin. There really isn’t.
Lieber Kevin, so ein schönes Video. Du hast kein Vorstellung, was Deine Videos bewirken.
Hi Kevin, I am watching from Tasmania, Australia. Love, love, love each episode you present. Thank you so much for a relaxing time with you in you beautiful home. You share so much in such a calm, and loving and caring way. Such a tonic for me since my daughter passed away from cancer 2yrs ago. Thank you Kevin your kindness knows no bounds. x Kathy.
I just loved this video. My husband and I just got done planting flowers and herbs around our house. When I was young I planted twice as much all on one day. Now it takes mostly my husband a week to get things planted. I must say it was worth the effort.
I made this pound cake for my daughters birthday. It was delicious. Definitely a keeper. I substituted lemon extract for the almond extract and topped it with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
Your garden is giving me Versailles and Fontainebleau vibes! Two of my favorite places I visited in France. I bet you’ve been there as well! Great inspiration! Your boxwoods are so healthy and hearty. I’m thinking the gardeners enjoyed their day beautifying your hedges.
Thank you Kevin, thanks to you my girlfriend made me the best cake I have ever tasted. We are watching you from Switzerland and I must tell you that your moments are a haven of tranquility, zen and joy.
Hi Kevin, thank you for another wonderful video. Seeing you beautiful chopping block reminds me that I received mine from Dan Fennell a few weeks back. It is just gorgeous, and I love it. I recommend his work. It is evidently crafted from integrity and love for the art. I will forward a picture of it when I can. It's great to see Binkie, Goldie and Avery too! Love to you all! ❤
I don't know if it's me or my ovens over the years, bit I find that if I take a cake out when crumb is attached to a wooden skewer, it is perfect. Not raw batter, and not clean, but in between...just crumb attached. Moistest cake ever! I love rhubarb. Will try your compote!
I could imagine a delicious twist to the cake recipe would be to add lemon extract and lemon zest in place of the almond extract. Later this summer when peaches are ripe, use the vanilla and almond extract in the cake and top it with fresh peach slices or a peach compote. Delicious!
I can't wait to try the cake-thanks for the recipe. One of my favorite tomatoes to grow is a cherry tomato called Sun Gold. It's so sweet and a beautiful orange color.
I love watching your channel. You have so many of the same interests as I have. I love to garden, cook, can and preserve food also. You much have several freezers to freeze as much as you do. I can more food than I freeze. I will have to get your cookbook. I love your home. You do a great job with your flower arrangements. I enjoy flowers as well. I believe when your heart is in whatever you enjoy. You will shine at whatever you do. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Kevin. The garden looks very beautiful. I love to see as you take care of the garden. The cake looks really provocative. I will do it for this Memorial Day weekend. Until the next video. Big hug and blessings. Bye my virtual good friend.
Kevin, your videos are always peaceful and elegant. The music while at the garden store was perfect, loved the beautiful dog. Avery, Binky and Goldie are so lovely. Trimming the boxwood was a huge task for the two gentlemen. They did a fabulous job. I will try the cake, what a great combination. The outside world is always creating chaos. Your world makes a retreat to a gentler, kinder world possible. ❤you Kevin.😊
I'm so grateful and thankful that your videos have landed on my feed. You are living my dream life and I'm loving Avery's hopeful face at the end of your video!
I remember when you had your boxwoods shaped last year and you showed a picture of how you first planted those little seedlings and then designed and planted all of those little tiny boxwood plants. You can’t imagine how many times I have thought of you doing that feeling so impressed at the immense job and the beauty of it at the end. You are so inspiring all the time. I am so impressed.
My favorite pound cake is a lemon sour cream that calls for a pound of butter, 8 ounces of sour cream, and 8 eggs in the recipe. Thank the Stars for that Kitchenaid Artisan. It fills my fancy Nordic Ware pan nearly to the rim. I confess to licking the spatula. The hedge is gorgeous!
Kevin, how inspiring to hear that not only did you plant the boxwood hedge from cuttings, but that 18 years ago it was basically a parking lot! I'm sure Clover Hill is very happy that you've not only rescued it, but take pride in keeping it looking absolutely amazing❤
Kevin I loved your teatime and your beautiful bone china teacups and the tea made with tea - leaves, not tea. - bags!! Xxx you are so refined and so appreciated. Xxx
Dear Kevin, your channel is my favorite one on RUclips, you are the Best, and like I said before, I have learned so much from you since I’m not a baker!!! From Palm City Florida.
Fabulous video! A note: You might be interested in trying a highly prolific, indeterminate Roma-like (though smaller) tomato called "Juliet." I find that Roma's tend to have hard shoulders, so some of the tomato is wasted. Not so with Juliets. Plus, they're FABULOUS for roasting, and they're known for not splitting.
I have a cat. I read in Daniil Andreev’s book “The Rose of the World” that animals that live with a person acquire a soul and go with him to a better world. read this book.
Congratulations on your impeccable taste. I am going to try a keto version of that fabulous poundcake (pretty much substitute coconut flour, arrowroot flour, and stevia), and am going to harvest rhubarb to complete the attempt. I figure at my age---67-year old woman with worst RUclips name ever---, I do keto because you have to do something. That and keto can taste fabulous, seems to have health benefits, and you can eat a lot. Thank you for your wonderful channel.
The boxwood looks beautiful! That cake is so big, it feed a crowd and it looks delicious! Loved the glimpses of the fur babies. Thank you are another lovely video time with you!
Hi kevin +all .greets from Dublin..how lovely to see you+enjoying lrish Tea..if by any chance you have some left over in your fabulous T.pot.let it get Cold..Strain.,pour over Mixed Fruit .eg..Sultanas. Raisin. Cherries ..this pumps up fruit and flavours a rich fruit cake..love everything youve achieved in you day...thank you for sharing..
Another lovely episode, Kevin. Your boxwood garden looks so beautiful after the trimming. And that cake! Oh, my! It looks yummy. Thanks again for sharing your life. ❤️
Perfect timing ! Just had my morning coffee with you. Unfortunately with out the cheese cake😢❤ I totally enjoy your company in the morning. Along with the thunderstorms we are having it makes for a great start to my day..😊
The minute your intro music starts, I become instantly relaxed and ready to enjoy your video. Your garden looks gorgeous and you must be so proud of your beautiful boxwood hedges! I’m definitely going to try and make that cream cheese pound cake. It look yummy, especially with tea.
Another walk into a secret garden and a lovely treat awaiting at the end. Your videos transport me to another beautiful world. Please continue to take us along. I am sure we all feel as though that second place at your table is just for us.
The boxwood garden is gorgeous. There is something about boxwood that evokes a mood. I will try this cake. Thinking of strawberries instead though. As always, thank you for a delightful visit.
What a delight to walk through your gorgeous garden and then to be invited to your dining table for dessert. Rhubarb and home grown strawberry pies were so enjoyed at my homestead in Vermont yrs. ago.
Was wondering if Avery had a treat with Dad. She was looking up at you for a try of that cake. Thanks for sharing and making my evening. The garden and boxwoods look so great
I love your videos. Beautiful home! I look forward to see what you’re cooking. The finer things of life! I’m glad you exercise. Otherwise eating that cake you may put on the pounds! Your doggie wants some of the cake!
Watching your channel is like coming home. As usual, today’s episode was perfection. And thanks for the tip for square foot gardening. I just ordered the grid for my husband. Amazon.
This channel is like watching a Victoria Magazine come to life, such loveliness. ❤
Absolutely yes! I would pour over every page of that magazine and Kevin’s channel fulfills that romantic Victorian in me!❤Thanks Kevin!
I have subscribed to Victoria magazine since 1986!! I know exactly what you mean!
Oh, that’s perfectly said!! 😄
Kevin I loved the way you set a place for me to have tea and cake with you in your videos...I have never been treated so nice in all my life. Thank you 😊
My sentiments exactly!
It's like you read my mind.
SAME HERE 😭

Yes! Correct grammar. It seems that correct grammar is not so appreciated as when I much younger.
Our ailing world needs more like you. You are a calming, lovely soul with a beautiful home, sweet pets and you work magic in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing! Love you!
Kevin you bring so much joy to the world! The boxwood garden is a little glimpse of heaven :-)
Hi Kevin. It's Raquel.I want to thank you for Saving Avery from the shelter 8 Year's ago from going to Die you are her Hero and mine for doing that for your Avery.Love Raquel.❤
You look so proud strolling casually through your grounds with your coffee cup.

I have the same one, except it is larger !
There"s so many good things about this video, that I've lost count!
Towards the end, I saw my favorite table cloth already set up on the tea time room table! Thanks. 🤓
It's very comforting and lovely pleasant in your living room/tea room.
Your videos are very calming for me. The music, your sweet voice and the visuals. Calms down my nervous system so thank you so much.
Always such a pleasure!
Kevin, I just discovered your channel a couple months ago, and I can’t get enough. When I am needing a breath of fresh air, I always come back to your channel. I appreciate everything that you provide to us. Very calming and informative. Thanks so much!
If you are going to indulge in cake, this is the cake to indulge in! Could almost taste it. Gorgeous, as are the hedges. Beautifully trimmed.
I love rhubarb! It's difficult to get where I live so I'll just live vicariously through this video.
It is super easy to grow and a great producer!! I live in North Carolina and it does great year round!!
I've never seen Rhubarb for sale in my country
Another reason to grow it!! I grow it in 5 gallon buckets!!
I could try in winter but don't think Rhubarb would like Mediterranean summers 🥵
Same here in Arizona. Freshly picked is impossible to find.
When you held up the sprig of Boxwood, I tried to imagine all that you had done with your boxwood cuttings to make the magnificent formal boxwood gardens over 18 years. Wow. There is no one like you Kevin. There really isn’t.
As a kid, we chewed raw rhubarb til juice was extracted. Fresh from the garden plant!
Kevin thank you for the invite to your home. Also for your generosity in sharing your experiences.❤
A man who is very giving at heart and a wise soul
Aw, Avery is being such a good girl during teatime. 🥰
That garden looks amazing! So does everything else. My greetings to Goldie and Binky and Avery :)
