Omg!!! I just did this without the superglue thinking it wouldn’t work and it came out straight away! Thank you so much as this saved me hundreds of pounds at the repair shop. This is brilliant
Just use an aluminium soft drink can like coke or 7up etc.,,,get a scissors cut up a 5cm(Length) 1cm(Width) sheet,,,then roll the sheet,,,can use a plier to roll sheet like cigarette paper then insert the rolled sheet to the phone jack then roll again until the sheet is tighten roound the broken pin then pull,,,try it couple times,,, it will work.
@@josephwillis1581 What about now??? and do you know how to remove in tablet pls help me if you know, I will be more than happy if you know how and appreciate it if you dont know.
the broken headphone jack piece got stuck with super glue in the port... now I have to remove it what other methods should I use????? (I really need help lol) I'm trying to dissolve the super glue with alcohol to loosen it but the port is too narrow so I can't use any other methods because it has become too tight
I recommend you guys use this method without glue because I succeeded without glue just by finding the right pen hole. Once stuck I pulled it hard and it worked
Thanks for the video....i had the same problem on laptop... and i work 100%....Thanks Buddy for the upload. Repair shops are closed due to corona virus...you saved...much love from Pakistan
Folks, try ILC's fix without glue first -- gave it a quick try w/standard Bic pen after watching vid and... bingo! (like, in less than 30 sec.) In any event, thank you for posting this, very helpful.
Really? That's what I might need to do honestly, you see, mine wasn't the tip 3/4ths of it broke off into the outlet so it's a little too wide for a pen tube to grab it. But I'm going to try your idea 👌 thank you!
Nope, honestly I don't think it's going to come out, I tried super glue method, the pens melting and even heating the tip of a nail up to try and melt and embed itself into the spare plastic in the tip.
I bought $80 Headphones. One day I looked away for 30 minutes and saw that the whole thing was bent just like the thumbnail of this video. It took me a long time to bend it back to normal and tried to plug it in my computer. It did not work, yay now I am broke. :( When you have no money :((((((((((((((((
There is a tool, the GripStick, specifically designed to easily solve this problem without having to disassemble the device, use glue, drilling, or any other unsafe method. It also works for any mobile device, tablet, computer, or any other electronic equipment that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The GripStick was successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Watch it in action here: ruclips.net/video/Ii5OKvtNxe4/видео.html You can order one here: nightek.com/
this is genuinely a bad idea as you risk superglueing the jack in there. Customer came into our shop a few days ago and ended up spending 150 bucks getting a new jack installed. For reference, we can usually pop it out for free in about 30 seconds if it hasnt been messed with like this
TUPSAKRI PRAHALADACHAR I would suggest calling your local repair shop. Lot of places have specialized tools and some will pop it out for free. Just don’t use glue or a drill. Sometimes these home methods work, sometimes they make the jack unrepairable.
Hope I’m not missing anything, I can’t hear it
same lmao
Haaa
They should've added subtitles
Over 5 minutes* not under 60 seconds :)
yeah more like 60 secs to assemble maybe
Finally is not just me who noticed

I don't know what you people are doing, but I had a walkman in the 80s and worked in various radio/media fields and have never once had this happen.
I bought a USB to 3.5mm headphone jack cable. solved the problem
A piece of rubber from the head phones is stuck in there does anyone know how to get the rubber piece out I've tried pins thumb tacks
