Adam Rupp is the beatbox, Tim Foust is the bass note at the end. Check out Home Free's "Man of Constant Sorrow" where Adam the beatbox imitates a harmonica, and Chance at the beginning imitates a Jew's or Mouth Harp. Tim Foust does his usual low bass. This was filmed near the swamps of the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, Alabama.

The more Home Free you react to, the more Home Fries will discover you and start subscribing ...
Home Free does MANY different genres, they can literally do it ALL. They do Covers, as well as original songs. They do collaborations with original artists, and they all take the lead in different songs -- oftentimes they'll do it in the same song. Every one of them can actually do some beatboxing, and can imitate various instruments. When you get to Mayday (MUCH later, please!!) you'll hear them singing in the same key Cam sang it in ... These guys are unreal!!
Suggestion -- next, do Man of Constant Sorrows. You won't be disappointed ....

Tim, the home free bass, has a 5 octave range, and goes from high tenor to sub harmonic.
His party piece is to burst sub woofers.
Adam, the beat boxer, is affectionately known as the freak of nature by fans.
Try Man of constant sorrow to hear the rest of the guys.

They dont do just country, a little bit of every gener out there and all the members are extremely talented. Being that 3 members are from the deep south they cant help that country influence. You react to Home Free and the Home Fries will be hear to watch.

Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and cofounder with his brother Chris of Home Free. He is the current beatboxing champion for the past two years, and is known as the human drum kit. There are RUclips vids of just him on stage doing his repertoire of sounds and it is mind blowing what he is able to do. Although they have been mainly known to do country covers, and some originals, they also have quite a catalog of pop and R&B covers as well. Their latest album, Dive Bar Saints, they have 10 originals and a couple of the guys have written some of their originals as well. When it comes to the Acapella world, both PTX and HF are world class and at the top of their game.

Adam Rupp beatboxer/ percussionist, started his career in 2000, and here 21 years after, he is still evolving his sound portfolio.
He is so humble, that he only credit his hard work (and boy do he work hard), but never his natural talent.
Love this cover, and whats not to love, dubble bass.

The "featured" basso profundo is Avi Kaplan (pronounced AAhh vee) He was the bass for Pentatonix (another a capella band) until the latter part of 2017. He now has a solo career. Pentatonix won the singing competition on the sing off the season before Home Free. These two bands know each other very well and are friendly, which is refreshing. I see Home Free fans commenting to PTX reactions and vice versa. Both bands are super and it would be great to see you react to PTX as well. Thanks for this reaction. This is one of my favs.

They actually arranged this song for the competition called The Sing-Off that was mentioned in the bio you read. The Sing-Off is basically like American Idol for a capella groups. I was disappointed that the show didn't last longer than it did. I would encourage you to react to their Sing-Off performances, particularly the ones that include the judges' comments. Pentatonix won Season 3 and Home Free won Season 4. Voiceplay was also in Season 4 of The Sing-Off.

Tim Foust’s lowest note is a G1. A note not found on the standard keyboard. He can also go as high as a tenor. That’s 5 octaves. Adam Rupp has won several awards for his beat boxing skills.
My top favorites from Home Free:
    Butt Medley
Folsom Prison (also a Cash remix)

Y’all ain’t see nothin’ yet, Lol. Tim (bass) has a 5 Octave range. Adam (beatbox) is a (I think ) two time world champion and Austin (tenor) is a country boy from Georgia. Rob and Chance round it out to make some beautiful music. Check out “The Butts Medley”, “In the Blood” and “When a Man Loves a Woman”. For some bass, check out “Hillbilly Bone” “Man of Constant Sorrow”. Top it off with “Mayday” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”. Have fun in the rabbit hole.

Adam Rupp is the beatboxer for Home Free and is amazing. Tim Foust is the bass and has a 5 octave range. He can go lower than Avi like he did here. They are a country band but sing all genres and sing them well. Two of the members are from Minnesota but the other 3 are from Texas, Alabama and Georgia. They sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own stuff. Try Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, End of the Road to hear great harmonies. They also have a great sense of humor and aren’t afraid to be silly. You could check out their Butts Remix for laughs.

New Subscriber here but you need to learn more about Home Free and their skills, names, and their abilities!
History: They basically have 2 lengthy Lineups. The one that you watched in this video that included Chris Rupp, the Beatboxer's brother and Co-founder of Home Free! The other one since May of 2016 with Chance replacing Chris once he decided to go Solo!
    Here's more information:
    Home Free is:
Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group. Chris went Solo in 2016 with which he is doing Very Well!
Adam Chance who goes by Chance was brought in to replace Chris!
Chance is the Baritone that has a 4 Octave Range.
He can replace Tim, the Group's Bassist when needed as Chance was the Bassist in his previous Group before Home Free.
Back to Adam Rupp, he's the incredibly talented Beatboxer and can sing well too!
His Beatboxing is above and beyond any other Beatboxer that I have seen!
He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁
Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between!
He's Phenomenal and he's also taught some other Bassists from other Acapella Group's to be able to do certain things that allow them to get Lower and hit Notes they weren't able to before now.
The Bearded Singer is the Group's Tenor and he is Awesome!
Such a Creamy Tone and at times his Range is incredible too!
To end the Group's Members is Austin the Group's High Tenor.
    This man is unbelievable!
He can hit the highest of the highest of notes and he still can do Low Notes almost Baritone standards!
Now hopefully you can get caught up with the Group's Members!

I just ran into your channel and checked out several reactions to some of the classics, I am happy to see this younger generation appreciate the music of the '70s and '80s. I saw how much you guys were impressed with April Wine's Roller which is an epic song. In that era there were several awesome bands out of Canada like April Wine, Triumph, Rush, BTO, and before them, it was The guess who, all wonderful and amazing bands. Well here we are today many years later and Rock was on the brink of dying till bands that I consider saviors of rock/metal have come out to give us the pleasure of that awesome sound we all loved so much, like The Warning which you already did Dust to Dust, then there is another young Canadian prog-rock band called Motion Device which I believe they right up your alley, then there is Liliac also a young band, Greta Van Fleet, these amazing young bands are sibling bands and guaranteed to blow you away. I am here to introduce you to the greatest rock/metal band out of Japan that outplays and outdoes everyone on stage, MV, and studio version songs like there are no tomorrow. The band is an all-female band of the most beautiful women in the world but can melt your face and blow your mind away, this is "Lovebites" I will start you out with their prog-rock song called "Edge of the World" a masterpiece of many layers of pure awesomeness You are going to fall in love with this band ruclips.net/video/FGRxXCDtRFA/видео.html

abi's mentor was Home Frees Tim.
Tim has blown out proffessional grade stadium sub woofers during live performances.
You need see Home Free live "Drum Solo" and eventhat does not dhow all beat boxers musicl talent; song writer and musi al producer and arranger.
Pentatonics a great group. Along traditional lines but manfor man, yes Pena has a female, is oiut classed no matter the baritone bass etc by any Home Frees.
Whaen it comes to originality, and rexpertice of cinematograpy no comparison, HF far away best.
Most important ingrefient of success by HF. Is stage presence and ability of all members to relate to fans, bro,sis or best friends we never had bonding.

If you like Bass singers with range... Tim the bass from Home Free has awesome range shown off in their 'Mayday' cover. Also you need to check out Goeff Castalucci. He sings bass for 'Voice Play' My favorite that really shows his range in the group is 'Oogie Boogie Song' Goeff has some amazing solo work too. my current favorite is 'Sixteen tons'

This is considered a gateway to both Homefree and Avi's (ahhhh vee) work outside of Pentatonix. Homefree high tenor Austin, tenor (with beard) Rob, baritone Chris Rupp (since replaced by Chance), Tim Foust (bass) and twice world champion beatboxer Adam Rupp BTW here is the solo you wanted ruclips.net/video/EanKWLUaDpg/видео.html (yes Chris and Adam are brothers) see Chris' behind the scenes on this performance of Ring of Fire
    ruclips.net/video/rFdnzwkcD_c/видео.html
And Avi? Oh my goodness. He just did a livestream and sang for the first time with his band members Noah Denney and Kaleb Thomas Jones in the same room for the first time in a year! Very exciting. Avi is a singer-songwriter and sang 2 brand new songs and is being inundated with requests to publish them right away. The First Place I Go is spectacular! Homefree has a massive catalog after 20 years. Homefree suggested starting place is "Man of Constant Sorrow". Avi's must hear starting point is "Change on the Rise". P.S. Tim, Austin and Avi all live in Nashville, Tennessee now. Tim (Texas), Austin (Georgia), Chance (Alabama), Rob & Adam (Minnesota). Oh and Avi Kaplan (the central valley of California).

Good reaction. If you watch their video for HOW GREAT THOU ART it will give you a basic intro into each of their voices (and yes, their beatboxer has a beautiful voice).
Then follow that up with MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW and the live version of 9 to 5 where they all beatbox at the end.

There is a clip from a concert where Austin (the blond high soprano) complains Tim's low bass makes his arse vibrate. At a later point he then sits on a speaker. Tim produces a low note that doesn't even sound human making Austin howl and fall off. Their concerts are known for their funny screw ups. Avi Kaplan has been known to blow out the occasional speaker but Tim Foust is well renowned for it.

If you really like to hear a note coming from the center of the earth, listen to Home Free "Do You Hear What I Hear". Yes it is a Christmas song, but for unbelievably fabulous harmonies with a great beat box background, I don't think it can be beat. Tim, the bass, has been known to blow speakers with his low notes. If you want to hear Adam Rupp let loose, check out his drum solo as done on a live session in front of an audience.

As the saying goes (when it comes to Tim Faust, the bass singer at the end) ... You ain't seen nothin' yet, lol. The man has literally blown sub-woofers in concert, and he's been known to vibrate the camera as well. In concert, the very FLOOR will be vibrating. Add to that his 5 Octave range -- yep, you heard that right -- the man's a POWERHOUSE. Every one of these guys are so talented, it's unreal.
Two things (Home Fries are laughing right now) ...
You've got to watch Guilty Pleasures Derailed, but do NOT critique the songs. In the words of a couple of different Reactors -- they :broke' one, and another ended up saying "I can't breathe!". Also, do NOT react to Mayday too soon -- it's worth the wait. Trust me, Home Fries ALWAYS love seeing reactions to Mayday -- but we ALSO know when it's done too soon, before you get to know their voices well.
Looking forward to more reactions -- it's refreshing having Adam Rupp's skills pointed out!!

Adam Rupp has a beatbox solo video called Home Free Drum Solo. He is a two time international beatbox champion. So, yea, he’s amazing. React to it. Oh and you need to hear his “harmonica “ in Man of Constant Sorrow (but it is deliberately very country sounding because of the original song)

  • @jamiestrand4506

Yes, this is just a small taste of what they can do. They also have a ton of fun! They have some amazing originals and a lot of really fun/goofy videos as well, which still manage to show their extreme talent. The Home Fries will be watching for more, just wait. =)
    Originals to check out:
    Dive Bar Saints
    Catch Me If You Can
Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget) - Fun note- this was filmed the same weekend as ROF, and Avi makes a brief appearance
    Fun videos:
    Butts Remix
    All About That Bass
Thank God I'm a Country Boy
    Quarantine
    Sunday Best
    Meet in the Middle
Sea Shanty Medley - one of their more recent videos
    Other suggestions:
    Man of Constant Sorrow
    In the Blood
    End of the Road
    Blue Ain't Your Color
    American Pie (w/ Don McLean)
Mayday - (my absolute favorite) you really need to wait to do this one until you have at least 5-7 other videos under your belt, and really understand the group, to get why this one is so amazing
    Moonshine
I mean there are SO MANY more, but these are a good place to start. Also, since you guys were so impressed with Adam, check out one of the Drum Solo videos to see what he can really do!
