Another homfredian masterpiece. These men don't do covers, they do upgrades. Austin's voice is platinum. Rob's voice is butter. (Blue-eyed soul is safe with The Beard.) Chance's voice is gold. Adam's voice, on those rare occasions when he sings, is a bell. And Tim's voice is magma.
Oh please more Home Free! I enjoy y'all's reactions. In the video, Tim: shot a man in Reno. Chance: mafia hit man. Austin: fleecing little old ladies. Rob: was framed. And Adam: waiting to be transported to psych lock up!
The lead on this song, Adam, who you stated you'd never seen before, was in Man of Constant Sorrow and while he didn't have a leading vocal was the individual providing the mouth harp in the intro/outro of the song.
This was a quarantine special, so yes they were separated and at their homes all over the country. Chance has been with Home Free since Chris left in May of 2016. Home Free is known for their harmonies and videos with attention to detail.
I understand this one was recorded during a Covid shutdown & that the group were, all 5 of them, in 5 different places, in 3 different states!! Now, is that cool.or what?? And the height charts behind them are totally hilarious (I love how they always hv so much extra cool stuff going on in their videos!!), with the charts going from 5'0" to 6'8", I think!! I read somewhere that they're actually all around 6' tall or a bit taller, & you can also see they're more or less around the same height when they're standing in a row in this video. Whoever edits & creates their videos is a true master!!! Also, whoever arranges the music, as in who is singing what, when, & how, alone or in harmony, what octave(s) Tim is going to be singing in (!), then who pops in with a few solo notes here & there, & when exactly, etc, etc, etc!! (I imagine Adam Rupp just lets his mouth run wild most of time, I figure, all while solidly keeping the beat ofc). Anyway -- whatever these boys do is always just so well done, on every score!! And, BTW, if you particularly like Rob Linquist (?)(beard & glasses), go watch the group's "9 to 5" video, from many yrs ago -- hilarious!! (Dolly Parton's song)!! Actually, that song/video would be a really great one to review here!! LOTS of humor in it!! (And with background dancers in it too, believe it or not!!) All the guys in the group are in on the choreography too, as well as accomplishing their usual excellent singing, + acting like comedians!! Now, THAT is talent!! (OMG -- I just realized -- I'm a Home Fry!!!!!) This "9 to 5" video is from 10+ yrs ago and, amazingly so, at least to me, these fellas were just perfectly great even back then!!) 😸💗
The "New guy" you were talking about is Adam chance. He was in Man of constant sorrow when you watched it. He was standing in the back and he was the one making the mouth harp sound ... He started and ended the song with it. He is the only newer member, he took over from Adam Rupps brother Chris, when he left the group to do his own thing in 2016 I think it was. Chris Rupp was in Ring of fire.
I love the walking bass at the end. So cool! You absolutely must check out their "Ain't Goin Down Til The Sun Comes Up". The video is found on their Facebook page only, but the audio is on RUclips. It "features" Adam's harmonica throughout the entire song. He goes crazy and it's an incredibly fun song! It's worth going to FB to find the video.
the height charts were totally exaggerated...just Home Free's goofing around. Also this was made during their covid quarantine series. Adam Chance isn't really the new guy anymore he was in "man of Constant Sorrow" making the jaw harp sound.
They did this during COVID, so they were in their own homes with the "Height" charts behind them. Did you notice Rob's chart showed was 6'8" ? 😀 They must have had a great time with this one! Adam Chance, or just "Chance" was the one you said you didn't recognize. He also imitated the mouth harp at the beginning and end of "Man Of Constant Sorrow". Great Reaction guys! Bass man Tim did a collab with fellow acapella singer Peter Hollens on "Misty Mountains", a song from the Hobbit movie. Tim brings the bass and Peter does the high harmonies and layers their voices over 120 times in editing for a choir effect.. Look for it under Misty Mountains Tim Foust. It's a masterpiece!
They are in prison for killing this cover and stealing so many hearts. This cover is freaking awesome. So creative and unique. These guys couldn't put out a bad song, even if they tried. That was Adam's psychopathic blood sucking cannibal killer sound. Cool, eh? Did ya' catch the reflection from his coveralls on his lip? Made it look like there was blood on it. Adam went full on psychopath for this one.
Every sound that they produced in this song was reminiscent of the Railroad. From the wail of Austin is the whistle of the train in the distance, the off-beat harmony of the guys is reminiscent of the sapcing of the tracks, all work to give you the aura of trains. The height chart is just visual eye-candy.
The guys did a great job of this Johnny Cash cover. Made it into a jazzy blues style. And they all look like some sort of criminals especially Tim & Adam. Remember this was done during quarantine so none of them were physically together. They were very creative during that time. Love the background train noises. Adam's beatboxing is crazy good & so is Tim's low notes.
This is one of my favorites. We figure Tim (the bass) did the crime. Adam (beatboxer) belongs in the insane asylum and the others are accomplices. Hahaha. Love Tim’s low notes. Rob (glasses) injects the soul. Don’t pay attention to the heights. They’re all wrong but they’re tall. All are between 6’1” to 6’ 4”. This was filmed during Covid so they filmed themselves at home. Good reaction boys!
Great reaction! I think you all would enjoy Home Free’s cover of “Between a Rock and a Heartache”. It’s a recent release and it is hilarious! Just want to add “synchronized urinal dancing “ should be a category in the next Olympics.😂
The sound of the gun cocking was actually one of Adam's guns. This was one of their quarantine videos, recorded in their separate homes in Minneapolis (Adam and Rob), Nashville (Tim and Austin) and Los Angeles (Chance). They produced some of the best videos every two weeks for months while under quarantine.
The guy with the beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist. One of my favorites with him leading is an original called “Dreamer”, and he shines in “End of the Road”. High tenor , Austin Brown, is phenomenal in “When a Man Loves a Woman”. Chance ( the guy you didn’t recognize) and Tim both lead in Brothers in Arms. For a laugh- “The Butts Remix/ Medley” , and “Country Fried Pop Medley”.
I am not the biggest country fan, But i do like certain groups/artists. But watching these reactions I am a fan now of Home Free!!! So good!!! Man from your "non flowing" beards to littering, to your pig noises... So fun all around!
A few great Home Free covers: End of the Road, Listen to the Music (just now released). After those 2, you will officially be “Fries” and ready for Mayday 😉
It is on facebook but if yo like the "nomonica" you have to hear their cover of Garth Brooks Ain't Going Down Till the Sun Comes Up. Also, the bass, Tim Foust has a 5+ octave range. Check out his solo cover of Will Your Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay. If you want to hear bass check out their Dire Straights cover Brothers in Arms.
I love this video!! I look at the guys and immediately picture a gang of outlaws from the Bonnie and Clyde era. You got Tim the evil mastermind. Rob, Austin and Chance, the bad asses and then you have Adam, the loyal protective headcase who the others watch over to keep him from going over the edge. LOL I love when Tim is singing about staying away from Folsum Prison, Adam looks like he's just going to see if he can casually saunter away without the guards noticing.
Adam Chance was in Man of Constant Sorrow; now he is just minus the hat. He was the one sounding like a Jews harp (or jaw harp) in Man of Constant Sorrow.
Tim Foust is the bass and Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone but can sing bass (the one you didn't recognize). So they switch bass-lines depending on what the other person is doing. So when Tim is singing lead Chance will cover bass. Chance doesn't get quite as low as Tim but can carry a legitimate low bass. They've got their transitions down to a science and it's not noticeable. This way Tim can do more leads and do leads or harmonies live and they don't lose their bass.
Hey guys! This was actually d9 e during quarantine so they are all in different locations. Sure do miss you doing reactions to Home Free content…hope to see some more soon. Thanks
The sweet bearded guy with glasses is who I refer to as "The Reverend" Rob Lundquist. The man can PREACH. Check out Home Free's cover of End of the Road by Boyz II Men.
The height on all the guys is an "Easter Egg". The heights were all over the map, no Chance is not 5ft. They are all messed up to screw with everyone's mind!
I think it's time for you guys to check out one of their more fun, light-hearted videos. Check out The Butts Medley. Or, you could react to one of their most beautiful harmonies in The Driver.
The new guy is Adam Chance or just Chance and he is also a Bass to tenor Tim has a slightly wider range but both can span 5 octaves with Tim going slightly lower.
@@mettesrensen6116 I was referring to the recent bass battle mashups where all the bass singers were compared and Tim was considered as the bass with the lowest note capability and Chance and Tim now compete for highest note.
Greetings from a fellow Louisvillian! I saw these guys live in Cincinnati last weekend. Keep listening and you will become a Home Fry yourselves. For your next Home Free reaction, please check out "End of the Road". Its one of their best and is different from the songs you've listened to so far.
Check out Home Free When A Man Loves A Woman, Butts Remix/Medley, End of the Road, How Great Thou Art, Blue Ain't Your Color, Castle on a Hill, Good Old Country Harmony, Never Gonna Give You Up, Between A Rock and a Heartache.
Here's a female artist that I feel sure you have at least heard her name "Carly Simon - You're So Vain (Live)" She is a powerhouse vocalist that will 🤯blow you away. Hope you will give her a listen.
Hey Guy's, I saw you react to the "Allman Brothers Band" once before and was wondering if you'd like to hear another one of their songs? If so, then here's a live performance "The Allman Brothers Band - Seven Turns" this is one of the best blues rock bands around, but I think this particular song has a bit more country "twang" to it than their other songs. It just goes to shows you, how versatile these bands were and how easily they could cross genres in order to help their names stay high on the music charts and in the billboards. And the ability to cross genres like this, also brought their music to more listeners and increased their album sales. RIP: Duane U R Missed💔🔥✌✌🎸💖
I love when you guys react to Home Free. Please do more from them. Seven Bridges Road is a good one. Butts Remix and Country Fried Pop Medley are 2 of their funny ones. I look forward to more of Home Free from you.
**PRISON SENTENCES** Tim: *shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die* Chance: *drove the getaway car* Rob: *harboring Tim as a fugitive* Adam: *making obscene gestures at the arresting officer* Austin: *flirting with the lady judge* 🤣😂😅*NOT A TRUE STORY* 🤣😅😂 For anyone who would like to see the Johnny Cash live at San Quentin version: ruclips.net/video/wG0fS4DoGUc/видео.html
Re: Man of Constant Sorrow. A handy piece of info for you when you get on Jeopardy is that one of the reptiles has a rounded snout like a C. The other has a really pointed snout like an A. So, the obvious answer for Reptiles for 800, is crocodiles have the C shaped snout and alligators have the A type snout. Bzzzz. It’s the opposite. Crocs have the pointed snout, and gators have the round one. Another piece of useful information brought by a former teacher.
Thanks for a fun reaction. The guys did a great job. Only thing is...I think Rob was not guilty...Austin took over a bank. Chance well the vault was open.. please stay away from Adam Rupp a bit off his kilter... but you heard Tim's growl and saw the spooky smile... stay far away..farther than that. Already recommended..Between a Rock and A Heartache... fun. Thanks again.
You need to listen to How Great Thou Art and then Mayday, then try their Christmas songs Oh Holy Night and Mary Did You Know, and to show their versatility listen to their version of End of the Road from Boys to Men. Home Free is the best Acapella group out there! I am an official Home Fry! Love them ❤️💯
I've really enjoyed your reactions you actually research the song and the artists. Thank you. I'm sure you have heard lots of suggestions. I've really enjoyed End Of The Road it showcases Rob he does an excellent job. The other suggestion I have is American Pie with Don Mclean. It showcases all their talents. All I can say is enjoy your Home Free trip.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Man; they SMOKED this version!!!!!!!😍🤩
Another homfredian masterpiece. These men don't do covers, they do upgrades.
Austin's voice is platinum.

Adam Chance ‘Chance’ was doing the mouth harp in ‘Man of Constant Sorrow’. The guy with the beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist.
The lead on this song, Adam, who you stated you'd never seen before, was in Man of Constant Sorrow and while he didn't have a leading vocal was the individual providing the mouth harp in the intro/outro of the song.
Now u have to admit that was just fun!!! These guys are so good at what they do! Great reaction! Thanks 🤠🤠🤠
Love the comic "heights" on the background.
Their best song is a slow doowop version of Unchained Melody.
Both Tim and Adam Chance have a five octave range, which is crazy! If you want to hear some of that, check out their video of “Mayday”
This was a quarantine special, so yes they were separated and at their homes all over the country. Chance has been with Home Free since Chris left in May of 2016. Home Free is known for their harmonies and videos with attention to detail.
I love the way their harmonics mimick old train whistles and beat boxing the mechanical sounds the whole time.

❤❤❤❤❤
All five beatbox. Best Acepella group ever
Please watch Brothers In Arms…. Absolutely haunting and beautiful

When Johnny Cash did this live from Folsom prison. It was awesome.
For more from Rob Lundquist (the beard w/glasses) watch End Of The Road and/or Blue Ain't Your Color.
That was a really good cover of this song, they certainly made it their own. That was fun. Great reaction Guys
The beard guy is Rob Lundquist and you should check out Blue ain’t your color and/or The End of the road covers where he really shines :)

I love their rendition of this Johnny Cash hit. Johnny would have approved.
Adam Chance was in Man of Constant Sorrow; now he is just minus the hat. He was the one sounding like a Jews harp (or jaw harp) in Man of Constant Sorrow.

Hey guys! This was actually d9 e during quarantine so they are all in different locations. Sure do miss you doing reactions to Home Free content…hope to see some more soon. Thanks
Oh and Tim is my favorite…. He’s got some range… you want low he’s got, want some high notes he can do that too. His range is ridiculous!!
They were messing with those height numbers. If you noticed, they VARIED widely.
Love how they modernized this one. Thank you ^_^
MUST hear the Buttts Remix and Champagne Tast e on a Beer Budget!
BTW; Love watching you guys. I predict a great future for y'all. ✌️💖
Tim coached Jeff and Avi how to max their bass tone. They say that Tim has a 5+ octave range. Listen to Tim's Doo Wop album it's crazy amazing!!!
The sweet bearded guy with glasses is who I refer to as "The Reverend" Rob Lundquist. The man can PREACH. Check out Home Free's cover of End of the Road by Boyz II Men.
End of the Road is a PERFECT piece to showcase Rob (sometimes referred to as Gospel Rob)
Check out Austin Brown and Tim Foust covering My Maria in the backyard. Pure fire.
DREAM POLICE... IT'S ONLY LOVE.1991.(FULL HD REMASTERED video clip..
If you want to hear Tim go low listen to Brothers in Arms. POWERFUL
Great rendition of the Johnny Cash classic 🎶❤️👏
The height on all the guys is an "Easter Egg". The heights were all over the map, no Chance is not 5ft. They are all messed up to screw with everyone's mind!
If you want a huge surprise, watch the new release where the two tenors, Austin and Rob, sing opera. Robb will freak you out!!
Should listen to “Ain’t going down till the sun comes up” to hear that harmonica also Adam is amazing in “Sea Shanty Melody”
Good reaction, Guys. Try "Unchained Melody." Great cover!!!
I think it's time for you guys to check out one of their more fun, light-hearted videos. Check out The Butts Medley. Or, you could react to one of their most beautiful harmonies in The Driver.

Almost right Chance is working on the 5 and Tim is going for the 6

The "New Guy" Is Adam Chance. HE has been with them for 6 years. He was in Man of Constant Sorrow,
Thanks for the info! We must have missed him.
