Jonghyun helped taemin from the beginning in singing matters, helped him grow up, and always had faith in him (at first all the people said that taemin would never learn to sing well)
all the members always cared for taemin in one way or another, as they always felt that responsibility because taemin is the youngest.
they took taemin to school because he suffered bullying from his recent fame (there are pictures), but jonghyun always said "I'm his mom" xD
Jonghyun was not the leader but he always had such a stage presence and was not to afraid to jump in and do his thing. Thank you so much for this reaction and bringing our boys to us.
fun fact: Onew kept slipping on the stage at the beginning of Hitchiking, we can see soon after the beginning that he takes off his shoes and continues in socks. Jonghyun can notice it afterwards and you can see him laughing while watching Onew

Yes, you kinda feel the empty space for him, everything of him, his voice but for me, SHINee is always five and I'm going to support them until I died.
I'm "just" a Shawol since 2019 and don't know Shinee before. But I miss Jonghyun very much, and it feels like that I know the group as well as a Shawol who is there since debut.
Shinee is so talented and funny. They helped me very much if I struggle with my mental illness and even though I miss jonghyun, I know he is on a better place now. I hope he know how strong his family (shinee and real) is.

Thank you for this. Notice on Excuse Me Miss, when they get to the clap part, Jinki is off. When everyone's hand are clapping up, he's clapping down and he's really into it too. When I listen to this song with my daughter, right before the clapping, she and I decides who will be the Jinki and then we clap with SHINee. 😆
I love the live performances of Hitchhiking! Even though this performance is not my favorite (the lights obscure the dancing imo), the energy of the performance is just great!

Jongtae bond was strong indeed, he was like a mentor in Minnie's vocal style and you can hear a trace of Jonghyun voice in Taemin's. My baby jjong 💝 he supported him and was so proud of Tae 😍
This performance of "Excuse Me Miss" was from their SHINee World Concert IV in Seoul, so it was in 2015. This is the concert where the majority of SHINee's best live performances are from. If you watch this full set or, even the full concert, you will see why Jonghyun goes into that phone booth at the end. They are about to perform their next song, "One minute back." And you really need to see their performance of "Close the Door," Which they performed right before "Excuse Me Miss."
I think you might have saw this "Excuse Me Miss" performance when you made the mistake and watched the last half of this concert when you thought you were watching the next part of their Tokyo Dome concert, but I am not sure. This performance is a little more than an hour into this concert and the concert last 3+ hours, so I am not sure if you saw this part or not. The Tokyo Dome concert and this Seoul concert was part of the same concert tour, so that is why you got them mixed up.
"Hitchhiking" was from their SHINee World Concert III in Seoul, so it was the previous year's concert in 2014. This is SHINee's second most popular concert, with some very iconic stages as well. If you notice, the outfits they have on during this performance are similar to their outfits in "Dream Girl." If I remember right, this was part of their "Dream Girl" and "Like A Fire" set during this concert.
I just recently found where someone has reuploaded the whole concert DVD of SHINee World Concert IV in Seoul -- the whole 3+ hours -- and it even has English subs for all the parts where they interact with the audience, right in the video. ruclips.net/video/6TknOLesUc4/видео.html It really feels like you are right there at this concert. You should watch this whole concert as well, even if you can't react to the full thing -- watch it on your own sometime. :D
Losing him wasn’t just painful for SHINee, SM, SHAWOL and his family it was a loss to the whole k-pop industry he unknowingly along with SHINee open so many doors to other idols
Referring to "Excuse Me Miss": The only male group that can shake it but yet it doesn't look awkward. Jonghyun had so much swag (from the way he walked to his singing to the chant at the end). I'm so mad that I didn't discover Shinee when he was alive.
He was a distraction lol. There is something about him and Taemin that when you watch you can't stop watching them.

Totally understand you, it's very difficult to be able choose just one SHINee song, they are all so good, they mix different sounds, always seek to reinvent themselves as they get out of their comfort zone and the performances are epic they dance, sing live, it's an incredible show !! Are one of the few, (if not the only ones), who in each comeback totally change their style without losing the essence of SHINee, adding that they are all great dancers and great vocals!!

They truly will always be 5. I believe Jjong was a huge influence on Taemin vocally. SW3 concert is amazing. 1 of my first concerts I saw on youtube. Please check out 'One minute back' & 'Seesaw' live performances both completely different songs. I don't know if you reacted to Jonghyun's 'White t-shirt' live performance yet. That's a performance which always brings a smile on my face (mostly all SHINee songs do but 'White T-shirt' has a happy vibe) His vcrs for Suit up & Aurora are great ones too.
