Easily my favorite moment on the WHOLE album. Baptized in fire's beat is just alright and the energy is low, kinda repetitive. Same for Rose Golden, really repetitive, a nice track, but kinda meanders imo. Flight at first sight/Advanced may be one of Cudi's top 20 tracks to me. Nothing else on Passion Pain falls into that category. Easily top 5 beats he's ever had.

Easily one of Cudi's top three albums. Swim in the Light is my favorite Cudi song because it prevented suicide. It's interesting when you look/listen at/to his discography. It is like he goes through heavy phases musically; -Everything he released prior to 2010 was a young/hungry Cudi who was at his most creative state. You could even say it was his 'prime' -Indicud through SB2H was his roughest patch. Indicud wasn't liked by most (I loved it, Unfuckwitable GOES HARD) and SB2H was a joke in all reality, he had no business making that. The only positive thing he released (considered by reviews) was Satellite Flight which, still to this day, is his most creative project. He takes the vibe/theme from his 'prime' years and makes a completely different sound that really does feel like space. -PP&DS to present day is the most different Cudi has been since his 'prime' and it is a great thing. Most of us know that before and after he dropped PP&DS he was going through very dark times mentally. The big difference overall would be his song Just What I am from 2013 has a chorus of "I Need Smoke", whilst on PP&DS the song Swim in the Light from 2015 repeats "you can try and numb the pain but it'll never go away". Cudi has been a drug advocate his whole career but probably realized it was making him fucked up mentally. I firmly believe PP&DS / Kids See Ghosts are his best projects because his overall message is mental health. He has factually saved lives with both albums and has found a sound that no one else can achieve in the genre. If Kids See Ghosts was a solo Cudi project that didn't have Kanye (who does amazing on the album, I'm not trying to take away from Ye), I think it would be even better. I am looking forward to what he releases in the future because his last two projects were very powerful/beautiful.
