Wowww I've been waiting for this upload! I love iskender kebap, tried it for the first time in Istanbul 8 months ago in a place called Bursa Kebap I think. Will watch later once I finish work IA. 😊
I have been looking for a recipe like this. I have a turkish supermarket not very far from me and cant wait to follow this recipe. It looks absolutely delicious. Thank you for Sharing 😋👍
MashAllah MashAllah 😍😍 This was the first meal I ever had in Turkey on my 1st visit there..I still crave it to this day😋😋 Allah bless you aysha..I love your chanel💕💕
Thank you so much for this! I had Ishkender many times as a child while visiting Turkey. I have been dreaming of this for over 40yrs. Finally a recipe like what I had . Cant wait to try this. I'm so happy i almost have tears🥰
There is a delicious restaurant called House of Fides I used to go to with my best friend Simge when I lived in Australia and this is the dish I would order every time! I think they would serve it on top of croutons but everything else seemed the same including the brown butter!
Didn't know that the melted meat should also be used. That's the reason why I failed to make the döner as tasty as I ate in Türkiye :) Great recipe, çok teşekkürler!
❤❤❤❤❤ Ayṣe nur, You are killing me! I cannot find this in Bangkok. If there is a good chef in Turkey who wants a good business, come to Bangkok as the very few Turkish Restaurants here are extremely poor in food and service.😢 The only good food Restaurant similar to Turkish is a Lebanese Restaurant Nadimos which have two branches, one in Sukumvit and the other in Silom under the Holiday Inn Hotel. However, they do not make Iskender nor Beyiti Kebab which would be a dream to eat. I just noticed yesterday that they make their version of Lahamaçun which I have not tasted yet but will. They make them small about 4" diameter which is not great for adding salad. I really miss Turkish food and for the most part make the dishes myself. This is a great recipe and for those who may have a Rotisserie Oven may want to utalise that as opposed to frying. You may have to add fat for that. I have normally eaten this as a Lamb dish in Turkey but different parts of Turkey make the dishes different. I prefer the Lamb however. Great video as usual Ayṣenur keep em coming. I don't know if you have a recipe for Beyiti Kebab?
Assalamualaikum Kebabs are made in India as well. But Turkish kebabs are best. Especially how you explain and make it simple is great and mouthwatering.:-]
This is an excellent technique to make doner type kebabs at home without needing a rotisserie. I would sub the tenderloin for a ribeye, so there is more fat but will definitely try this. Thank you!
tomatoes, chili peppers, potatoes, and a bunch of other things. To say that the Columbian Exchange was a boon to European cuisine is an understatement.
@@ninaroby7573 where are you from? I'm Italian so there's no way I would be able to find Turkish tomato unless I visit a specific store in a nearby town. I should try, although I'm really not sure they can win 😂
@@Neerepha I am from Australia so have access to food from lots of places including Italy but Turkish tomato paste is really thick n they also have a red pepper paste also very thick . Combining the 2 is just too amazing !
I lived in turkey for a few years and left just before the pandemic. Turkish tomatoes are out of this world. I became a pro at cooking Turkish food and whilst you can recreate the flavours are never the same! I miss their food so much!!
This is one of the best dishes I've ever had. I had it in Izmir and it was incredible! :)

I wonder what Turks used to eat when tomato was still an unknown thing! You use it almost as much as Italians 😲
Turkish tomato seem to have more flavour ! Only use their paste in my cooking now
