Very nice review and good installation but as you said they scratch easy .I like the glass screen protector myself thanks again for such good content in your videos 👏😎🇮🇪
Thanks, Mary! I’m a fan of tempered glass as well, because my iPhones lead a very gentle and protected life. But this 3D Impact screen protector is definitely going to give you more impact protection. And they don’t scratch that easily…just more easily then tempered glass. Thanks again for being such an engaged viewer…really appreciate your comments!!
Hi Hamza. So glad you enjoyed it! RhinoShield has made a significant improvement to their 3D Impact screen protectors with the new installer system. Thanks for watching!
Hi Lautaro! Thanks so much for your kind words! The matte finish is only for the matte screen protector...the privacy version has a glossy finish... Thanks for watching!
Hi @Foldemort! It feels quite close to glass, but not quite the same. It also isn't as scratch resistant as glass or quite as good against fingerprints. However, it offers a lot more impact protection. The touchscreen is still very responsive--I would never say that it ruins the experience of using the phone. Overall, I think it is an excellent option for people who want a screen protector that is geared toward impact protection. And now with the new installer, it's super easy to install. Hope this helps!
Hi!! Do you notice any issues with the front facing camera? Since the screen protector covers it, I'm curious if there was any issues with it. Thanks for the review!! 😊
Hi TDW. Excellent question! I've never tried doing that, but my guess would be that it might be problematic. If you aren't looking straight on, the screen won't be properly visible.
I installed one of these on my 13 mini, although i think i misaligned it by only a fraction of a mm.. installing the phone in a modnx case, the bottom edge is basically against the case while there is a minimal gap on the top. sides are good though
Hi @NATURALBUILDING. The privacy protector makes the screen very slightly darker, but it doesn't give it a yellow look, in my opinion. Just slightly less bright. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
What’s your favorite phone the pro or pro max? I have a 13 and am missing the larger size of the 8 plus I previously had. Am going to try the rhino shield per your recommendation after cracking 2 flolabs as I mentioned even though I do have life time warranty. Is it worth it to upgrade in my case Since I already have a lifetime warranty on the pro lab?
Hi @dry509! My favorite is definitely the 13 Pro, as opposed to the 13 Pro Max. The Pro Max is a beautiful phone, but just a bit too big and heavy for me. I always end up using the 13 Pro instead. As for screen protector recommendations, the new 3D Impact with the installer is quite a nice product. Very easy to install now, and it is going to provide significantly more protection for your phone screen than a tempered glass screen protector like your FloLab. If you are the kind of person who frequently cracks tempered glass screen protectors, a specialized polymer screen protector like RhinoShield's really might be a better choice for you. Even with the warranty you have with FloLab, you still have to go through the hassle of ordering replacements and waiting for them to come. Good luck with your decision!! And sorry about your troubles with FloLab.
@@TheTechReviewer P.S. wish I would have bought the 13 Pro rather than the 13. I am paying for it through Verizon and in December will have paid half of it off thereby qualified for an upgrade or trade in. Not sure how that works, if I lose money on the deal. Or wait to trade for the 14 pro?
Hi @dry509! I agree that the 13 Pro is a better phone than the 13, and I can see why you might want to upgrade to it. I'm not familiar with how Verizon's trade-in /upgrade program works, but typically, August is a really bad month to upgrade to the current year's phone. You are probably better off waiting until the 14 Pro comes out (probably in late September) and going with that, or waiting to upgrade to the 13 Pro once the 14 Pro comes out and the price on the 13 Pro has dropped as a result. Good luck with your decision!!
Your Videos are awesome! You always review the products that interest me and always answer all the questions I have in the videos. But I still don't understand, what you mean with that the matte Impact Protector is more pixilated. I mean the resolution from the iPhone 13 Pro Max is 2778 x 1284. How can it be less high definition?
Hi @Hero! Thanks so much for your kind comments…you are making my day!! 💕 As for your question, I think I didn’t explain the matte screen protector issue very clearly. The matte finish very slightly blurs the screen protector. It’s not quite as clear as the non matte version. You don’t notice it unless you are holding the phone super close to your face, however, and it really improves your sunlight visibility. Hope this helps!!
I'm trying a matte screen from a cheaper brand, and the clarity overall is fine but it looks terrible with white or clear colors, it looks as if there was grease or water on the screen since it has a rainbow kind of effect, do you notice something like that with this matte? or only this blurriness you mentioned?
Hi Yorutamashi! I didn't notice any rainbow effect with the matte screen protector...just a slight blurriness when looking up close. But personally, I prefer a non matte option. Not a huge fan of matte screen protectors!
@Yo Baba, I checked, and Rhinoshield.io, Rhinoshield.eu, and Rhinoshield.uk will all work with my promo code. Will one of those sites work for your purchase?
Hi Ornamo! So, it may get bubbles if you use it with a case that it doesn’t quite fit with--if the case is pressing against the edges of the screen protector, it can cause lifting and potentially bubbles. And it can get scratched over time…it isn’t as resistant to scratching as a tempered glass screen protector (but it is much better against impact!). But overall, I think it is going to last well, although like all screen protectors, it will wear out eventually. Hope this helps!!
Nice! The new black looks pretty awesome. I may go with Silver, but I’m tempted by the Deep Purple. And I’m definitely going with the 14 Pro versions! So exciting!!
Sometimes when you try remove the dust especially after many hours it won't adhease anymore and you need to get a new one :( Also make sure not to bend it too much they got a very little tolerance for bends.

What a nice video! I have a question 🙋♂️. The matte protector has anti glare, but the privacy one has it too? Or it’s only for matte glass.

Love the video! How does it feel to touch compared to the glass? Do it ruin the feeling of the touchscreen?

Hi Sally! I didn't notice any issues with the front facing camera, but of course you have to keep that area clean!!
Thanks for the great review. Is there any difficulty viewing the privacy shield when the phone is in a car cradle? Any difficulty seeing maps?
Hi TDW. Excellent question! I've never tried doing that, but my guess would be that it might be problematic. If you aren't looking straight on, the screen won't be properly visible.

Hey I'm wondering if the privacy protector makes the phone screen more darker cause I want to buy one but don't want the screen darker
Hi! In my experience, Privacy screen protectors all make screens very slightly darker, but it is a small difference
hello, sorry for my bad english. I have a question. Does the privacy protector make the screen look more yellow?
