Air pumps only have positive effects. Not only do they help with gas exchange by cause surface disturbance, but they also help remove dead spots in the tank. They are the cheapest thing you can do to improve your fishes life.
My water of gold fish is seriously getting dirty within 1-2 days.. I need an airpump to clean the huge amount of waste.. but will it be too powerful for them? I am using 40L of water aquarium and i think I'm getting sobo w2880f pump.. would u guys recommend it?
Air pumps are useless unless you are using sponge filter. If you don't have enough agitation at the surface or dead spots in the tank, then you should be considering a different filtration system that is adequate and appropriate for the tank. Goldfish definitely do not need an air pump, get a better filtration system instead. If your filter is inadequate, an air pump is NOT the solution, filtration upgrade is.
Yes, Orandas can live without air pumps. I myself like air pumps as it agitates the water and provides adequate oxygen concentrations. But one is not required.

My gold fish 3 months alivee without airpum or fillter i always change. Her water every day and feed them in the right time

No constant water change no smelly water thanks to my bubbly air pump . An air pump make a big difference compare to a simple water filter.

Yes and no Oranda can survive without aerator because aerator only give agitation in water and provide adequent amount pf oxygen exchange

I would say no. I've had may Angels that never had a bubbler in the tank and they lived a long and healthy life.
