Hi Everyone, after reading through the comments (some saying I was too fast or they didn’t know where to work the stitches) I have made an UPDATED VIDEO WHICH YOU CAN FIND HERE - ruclips.net/video/Odqjbg4bMeA/видео.html

In the last 2+ years, I've been making infant beanies for a children's hospital. I have made over 200 of them, but began working on another project as well for the same hospital. I've kept working because so far, the COVID restrictions haven't been lifted, so I can't donate them yet. Today, I decided to go back to beanies, and went completely blank on the magic circle. That is the other thing that has happened in the last 2+ years. I'm in early stages of dementia, and it's short term things I can't remember. I've already watched this 3 times today and I don't know why I even need it. I never did before, so it's not just embarrassing, it's scary. Thank you for keeping it brief.

@@bethcrainfitness6348 Thank you Beth, that is very kind!! Since posting that, I've started making chemo caps as well. There's just something about that magic circle that I have to go back and watch to do it right. I'm scared because my mom had severe Alzheimer's when she died. I don't ever want my family to see me the way we had to see her in her final years. The one thing that stayed good for her was recognizing our faces when we came to visit. She would spot us first and get a big smile, but then we couldn't have a conversation because she couldn't say or do anything that made sense.

I've watched countless videos on this subject, and sure, I could make a functional magic circle afterwards, but it always looked loose and horrible. Your video was the best. First off, you were sure to point out where the tail end of the yarn went. So many times I watch videos and they never show which end they're working with. I think that's why I couldn't do it right until I watched yours. Thank you so much.... now I can be proud of my work. ❤❤❤

I have been crocheting for many years. About 5 years ago I tried to learn how to do the magic ring and gave up after watching many videos and repeatedly failing. I decided to give it another try last night and found this video. I've made about 10 magic rings since then, 2 while watching and 8 on my own! I FINALLY got it! Yay! Thank you!!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've watched at least a half dozen other tutorials and was just not understanding how to do this. I watched this video through once and tried your method the second time through and got it from the first attempt! You went slow enough for me to actually see each step, unlike all the other videos I tried. Thanks again!

I love you, your method is way easier to learn from and you explain very well. The other videos don't go iinto as much detail and it really helped me learn the magic circle.
