I’m 33 weeks and have been dealing with Prodromal Labor for about a week now. I’m having my cerclage removed in 22 days, at 36 weeks and have been experiencing all of these symptoms the past few days!😳 My OB says for me to just rest as much as possible and to come in if things progress more. Being somewhere between active labor and Braxton Hicks has been utterly exhausting!

I’m 5 days over due .Been getting cramping, back ache, pelvic pressure on and off for 2 weeks and bump totally dropped. Seen midwife yesterday she’s booked me in to be induced next week. She still thinks I could go into labour on my own here’s hoping 🤞🏻 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

I’m 39 weeks exactly today. Have experienced all of these except ester breaking and really haven’t gotten Braxton Hicks. Lost my mucus plug at 38 weeks. I had a pelvis exam done a few days ago and I was at 3 cm dilated. Hopefully she comes soon!

I hear ya momma that’s the hardest part to me. It’s such a mind game and patience builder. The best advice that was given to me with my birth in June was to “trust my body.” it is an incredible process. You will be holding baby soon!

@@Abcdefghijajajaja most doctors consider full term to be 40 full weeks. I don’t mean early as premature, but earlier than the typical 40+ weeks

I would say definitely start walking. The more you move the more baby is going to engage

Try to not sit on your tailbone also known as butt tucking. I have a great morning pregnancy stretch routine that I used to help prevent, but a prenatal chiropractor does wonders too.
@@DanceePinkston Nothing seems to help me at this point but laying flat on my back with my knees up,and pain killers,which I dont trust to be taking so long.
35weeks why i fill like cramps and my back is in the pain it goes it cames..what is that
34 +5 and feeling all of these except the mucous plug and membrane breaking.. chiropractor said my pelvis is out alignment and I have SPD.. ladies I highly recommend getting aligned before birth, it’s the biggest regret from all my new mom friends. I’m also going to get a pelvic floor assessment by physiotherapist, doing everything I can to be a straight and easy exit lol.
I also have GD so they will induce me on my due date so I want to do everything I can to get her out naturally first.
39 weeks and abosulety nothing yet😭 just heaviness and everything is swollen
I’m 37 weeks but have yet to feel Braxton Hicks. I also have a high pain tolerance though so maybe I won’t feel it? Baby has dropped super low and my doctor said my cervix is thinning and shortening 🤷🏻♀️
All good signs! I’m super glad to hear baby is getting engaged in your pelvis! Do you know if baby is head down and facing your spine? That is was got me to finally go into labor..is when I got baby in the best birthing position. Let me know if you have questions. I do have a video on it called exercises to induce labor.

37 w 5 days. yesterday my leg bone started feeling like it was gonna pop right out of the socket at my hip. randomly super achey and uncomfortable!!

Here's a true story, I was reading online about week by week pregnancy and what to expect and when I was 33 weeks pregnant I read that the breast could start licking or having liquid (can't remember the name) so I went to the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror to check mine, it had liquid so I pressed it to try to express some. A few hours later I started having contractions. I was so scared because I was way to early. I did go to the hospital and was given injection should the baby come early he would breath. Luckily the contractions stopped after two days. So maybe everyone body is different but don't dry nipples stimulation of expressing milk unless you are 37weeks and after.
I’ve had leaky breasts since 25 weeks, and occasionally would express them because my husband was curious to see 😂. It would cause Braxton Hicks but wouldn’t send me into labor. I’m now 37 weeks
Same! I’ve been leaking since about 24 weeks. I’ve definitely been leaking more during my 38th week! I have been having so many BHC it’s crazy. Hoping labor is coming soon!

Before labour my mucous plug dislodges with a hint of blood. I then take a tablespoon of castor oil and go for a walk, I’ve never timed my walk, but it’s enough to complete 20 decades of the Rosary. I come home and go to sleep. Till I get woken by more intense contractions. From start to finish I always have 5mins interval contractions.

Castor oil is very dangerous to take as it can trigger the passing of meconium into the uterus 😫
@@meggc5858 lies you tell. I just had a baby a 3rd time three weeks ago and 9 years since my last. I did not take a midwives brew, just 2tbs of castor oil, brewed tea with lemon verbena and Red raspberry leaves. I laboured at home from midnight when I went into labour till past 9 when we finally dropped the kids off to school and left for the hospital. We were admitted into the maternity ward and taken to the labour ward around past 10 and I used the normal labour ball and peanut ball when I wanted to lie down.
The only thing I noticed this time with the castor oil (I took more than I usually take and it was based on my own personal research of the wonderful nurses, midwives, doulas and other mothers who favour this) is I had up to 3 bowel movements in the night during labour and I did not poo while pushing. I didn’t for the first time have issues with number 2 post delivery. I was only in the hospital less than 4hrs before this 3.75kg human was born. No tear, no grazing and no pain. In fact I was sleeping when the nurse was telling me to push, that she had to call in another midwife to help hold my leg while she wakes me because the baby had crowned and was birthing itself. I remember just 2 weakest pushes of my life and the baby was out (I didn’t think I was pushing, because my back passage was not engaged and I was not in pain, my labour sleep chose the worst time to come, it’s a deep sleep, I always describe it as a sleep you can die from and not know or just be happy you enjoyed)
Do your research, I’ve lived in this body for 38 years, nobody except the creator and me knows it better. A child that passes meconium may have other contributory factors. There’s no quality research out there that says Castor oil contributes to a baby passing meconium during birth.

Just had a scan last week and he said everything looked fine and there were no signs yet that I may have a preterm birth from what the cervix looks like but I’d still like to hear from another mama. I never had lightening
