    I hope you can help me. My tummy is always tight but only on the front, no pain in the back. But this, tightening last like 15-30 minutes, throughout the day, but not in regular interval. I also, cannot sleep well for the past few days to a week now. I cannot breath that well whenever I am about to go to bed. What is this?

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  2 года назад +2

      Hi Cynthia, it sounds like Braxton Hicks contractions. If you are finding it hard to breathe though, I would go to the doctor to get checked out. 💕

    I cant tell the difference between braxton hicks and baby movement…i need to know bc they ask me for my NSTs. Ive been thinking it’s been baby movements but they told me they’re contractions.
    Im so confused bc i cant find much on it online.
    I’m 36 and a half. High risk bc placental calcification, VCI, and pre pregnancy low bmi

      Hi Brenda, BH contractions feel like abdominal tightening, like the skin and muscles go all tense over your entire baby bump. Baby kicks should feel more like a rummaging around inside your tummy and more jolting plus often felt in a certain area of the tummy rather. Hope that helps! I can't really think of any other way of describing it x

    Please is contraction same with cramps. I’m close to my EDD and some times I experience severe cramps for a long as 15 to 20mins. Please what sign is this.

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  2 года назад +2

      Hi honey, it could be prodromal labour. That is a period of time where you experience contractions but then they disappear completely. I had this at week 37 & 38 of my pregnancy. It's probably just a sign that your baby is fully engaged and your cervix, baby and womb are getting geared up for labour to begin really soon. Are your contractions coming and going then disappearing or have things been progressing and you're noticing that the contractions are getting closer together? I didn't understand if you were telling me that the cramping is lasting 15-20 mins and going on constantly for that length of time or whether you are noticing this cramping every 15-20 mins. Please let me know x

    When should labor begin after your water breaks? My water just broke and I’m planning on having a free birth without a midwife of doctor. When should I start to worry after my water broke and labor doesn’t start. So far I am leaking with every contraction every 20 minutes and I started 4 hours ago. Thank you!

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  2 года назад +2

      Hi Ashley, it sounds like your labour has started if you're having contractions. Because I'm not a doctor I can't give you any medical advice. However, from what I know, you are meant to tell a doctor if your waters break and contractions haven't started within 24 hours or your labour isn't progressing because it is said that there may be risk of infection to a baby in the womb. However, if you're at home you and your baby are considered to be at less risk of infection because you're not in a hospital where there are lots of people and germs. I hope your free birth goes well. Do contact someone if you think you need extra medical advice though 😍❤️

    How long after getting the diarrhea & lower belly pain like cramps during the day & late at night does labour start?

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  Год назад +2

      Usually the diarrhoea happens a few days before or on the day of labour. The lower belly cramps are usually a sign of early labour and the start of the cervical dilation phase. ❤️

    • @amazinglifeadventures
      @amazinglifeadventures Год назад

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  2 года назад

      I'm so sorry! It wasn't my intention to trigger you in any way when I created this video. Most women will not vomit in labour. Ways to prevent it include staying hydrated and not forgetting to eat little and often. Often an empty stomach can be a trigger for feeling or being sick in labour. Sometimes it's hormonal. Anyway, please accept my apologies for the trigger the video has caused you x
