Just to contribute to the Ozempic/c section comments, I appreciate that your arent just shitting on it like many do lol . I joined crossfit 6 weeks post partum after c section (it wasnt easy but I got right into the swing of things and just took things slow, ab exercises were a little weird but 1 year later and I had my toes to bar). Used Ozempic for just under 2 years, currently at my healthiest weight of my adult life. Lost about 65 pounds, currently maintaining off medication. Made true lifestyle changes including doing meal prep, cutting out soda, crossfit 4 to 5 times per week, and even added in some additional running. I think if used correctly it can be a great tool. After my babies I was feeling a bit hopeless on getting the weight off, my appetite was ravenous, and Ozempic really helped me gain control and make change.
I'm overweight, a girl and from England and i've experienced nothing but kindness from people in gyms. I know Bethany lives in a really nice and friendly part of England so I am so surprised that she has experienced all these problems from the gyms she has gone too. I call BS or if she has had all these problems then it's because she is the problem.
Im glad she’s doing something and if this was the start of her getting fit and healthy even if she had a relapse I’d support her all the way but it’s not she’s just I’m big and I’m staying big with a bit of exercise hope she gets it sorted
Hiller, for the record . . . sporty Beth also thinks men can have babies . . . so, yeah, the inmates have been running the asylum and they will not stop unless we stop them . . . your content is a means to the end of this madness . . . thank you for using your platform to call out the bullsh*t
She has been an irrelevance for ages but she has found her tribe. Play SB drinking game, take a shot every time she mentions eating disorder, mental health, CF rubbish, fitness industry rubbish, you’ll soon be hammered
I don't understand how people have such a hard time understanding that just because I can hit a nail with a hammer, it doesn't make me a carpenter. Just because she is capable of, say, running some distance [not even for any specific time] that does not make her an authority on the subject of fitness or health. She's created her own vacuum of support and evidence and has nothing but anecdotal support for 99% of her claims.
Everyone gets picked on or you can hear some snide remarks. Almost 100% from kids that are just immature. Almost the same amount of adults will never say anything cause they’re thinking “good on that person for trying”. Or they may even come up and say good job! Especially if you make it past February 😂 or they’ve seen you for a while and you’re making slow but steady progress. It’s the people that aren’t around you that see the changes you miss looking at yourself before every shower.
People treat you according to what you project to the world, if you give out negative vibes overweight, thin, or in shape you will not be received well and the reverse is true. In her case she is judging herself through what she believes how people see her, she like many who try to read the minds of others in her social circles by their reaction to her because she has crossed over to the side of caring about what people think about her. This is because something happened to her that was unpleasant and thus she lost trust and never recovered from it and all the self help books will make her worse and not better but bitter (experience bro).
It's claimed it's healthier to be obese than have an "active" eating disorder. And yet so many, including myself work through them. I don't think it's any healthier to swing the other way. There is definitely a middle ground for even our bodies and their composition.
Sometimes people are douchebags and make comments about your weight in the gym. It CAN happen. But…I’ve been overweight in the gym and haven’t had any issues. I am a woman. Heck I think I’ve gotten more attention and comments I didn’t want when I became a thinner person in the gym. Then I became a coach and helped other people who were overweight in the gym. What I can say is that more for me than not, the slights that you receive are often just looked for or perceived, not based in fact. If you go to the gym imagining everyone is going to stare at you and judge you for being overweight, every glance will be taken as confirmation.
And NO ITS NOT REESEEES! It’s the Name Reese with an apostrophe s. It’s like Reese Witherspoon. If she had a purse, it would be Reese’s purse, not Reeseees purse. Rhyme it with pieces. Reese’s pieces. If you have to change the word pieces to rhyme with the way you’re saying Reese’s, you’re doing it wrong! Listen to a commercial for it and verify I’m not lying lol
It’s like a person who keeps falling and nearly dying while rock climbing because they aren’t good at it but they claim to be an expert and tell everyone else they are climbing wrong. When someone’s choices are unhealthy or a failure they shouldn’t be giving or selling advice to other people. That’s what annoys me of the sporty Beth’s of the world. By all metrics her health is declining. By all data she is regressing not progressing. Yet she wants to act like a pathfinder and show people the way to “health.” Would you take brushing advice from a person with no teeth left?
I don't know how you can waste your time watching SB videos, I can't get through a few minutes of them... IMO They aren't worth getting a view. She did look good at one time in her early CF days, I would look at that and say "how did I let myself go" and want to get back to that shape post baby now especially.

@meirionwilliams8036 I agree. Hillers made the claim in one of his recent videos that someone isn't fit unless they run a sub 6 min mile (sub 5:30 for a man iirc). My comment was about the inconsistent standard he's applying to what it is to be fit.
Keto cups are for people who are on a keto diet. If you have no carbs at all, (or very, ver, VERY little) a keto-cup is going to serve you better, than a sugary original. But people with no idea what Keto actually does in your body think, they can eat a Keto meal or snack and therefore be healtyer - it's so frustrating🤦🏼♀️ If you're not in it for at least 6 weeks, don't think Keto is going to help you loose weight. (I'm personally a big fan, it worked really well for me and I'd encourage everybody to have a seriouse go at it. Dr. Mindy Pelz has a great channel where she explains "the rules" very well) 🕊️💜
I've never heard you body shame her. Just give honest assessments of her movements and content🤷♂️

I agree. It's not good to swing in either direction. Not to under eat or over eat. You don't have to track food to eat healthy or avoid over eating.
