It's a character trailer. They are supposed to made people want to have the character.
Or at least introduce them to the players.
Robin is a famous singer in the game. And they show her off. And give some subtle hints about the character in the story.
Also that 1:17 part is a reference to Marilyn Monroe.
Also, it is often joked that Mihoyo/Hoyoverse is a music company that make games to show case their musics. It is still just a joke, but their musics are often time very good.

character trailers like this one are made to give you a feel of the characters personalities and animations
i think you should check out the song “Moon Halo” and the character animation ties to it, “Everlasting Flames” from the game Honkai Impact 3rd (hi3) it has many ties to Honkai: Star Rail (hsr( even having characters that share a name. you don’t need your worry about copyright as the company just treats it as publicity.
If you do play hsr, please avoid spending money on it. hsr is going through a major controversy at the moment as the area the story happens in is obviously inspired by the Harlem Renaissance (period in america known as a revival and birth of black culture) while not releasing any black characters and sympathizing with the colonizers. they are also planning to release a character who is a implied sl*veowner and uses a whip. it’s fine to play the game just try not to give them money.
