I'm in love with the GFL franchise personally. As a grown man it made me cry and think about the existentialism of robot AI that wants to be human. The first game has some banger tracks for its major campaign events Solar Sea Anna A Moment of My Nightmare Connexion I think I personally recommended this cause it was a dope character trailer for a returning character of the original game and I'm hoping GFL2 gets a global release The world of GFL is as happy as it's eccentric moments poking out give you, it's otherwise very bleak and often heartbreaking. Reacting to any of the above songs listed or even the opening animation for the game Reverse Collapse: Codename Bakery, a remake of Mica Team's first game in the franchise set far future available on Steam, is a good insight to how bleak and horrid yet hopeful this world is in spite of its atrocities. even Project Neural Cloud set somewhere between the events of the first game has its moments that made me feel dead inside in spite of the cute 3d chibi models. I downloaded the original Girls Frontline after constant banner ads post college and it got me. At first I thought it was a bit cheeky haha lackluster and then it started hitting me with questions of existentialism. I think theanimedetective, who doesn't get a lot of views he deserves as is, really nails his point in his video review on the game.

I don`t know if you`re into these types of games but, as a black woman I have to let you know about this. There is a hack & slash game that`s in development, what makes this game special to me is for the first time in the hack & slash genre the main character is black, on top of that the developer is black. The game look sick, it has a visual aesthetic simular to beyond the spider-verse, you can preform parkour, you can switch stances, its futuristic, it has afro-beats music and the main character looks and sounds sick. The game is called: Yasuke a Lost Descendant If you`re interested check it out and support the devs (Dalliance Studios). Shouts out to hack & slash games, they are making a comeback.
