I love the setup and test you did. Thermoworks is a fantastic company! I've had my Thermapen for 10+ years and it's finally starting to get a little finicky. For a tool that gets used all the time for the grills/smokers and in the kitchen it has been worth every cent.

Cant tell about read speed but I much prefer the Knight Rider look of the ThermoPro, seems far easier on the eyes and it's always lit. Also like the loop/hole on the end and calibration option. I have one of the cheap ThermoPro non-folding and it's been solid. Bought their TempSpike full wireless (like Meater) but tbh I'm not a big fan of that one, (lots of issues with it) probably returning it and get one of these Lightning, and a 4-probe wired/wireless setup from ThermoPro.

@@zBernie12345 Indeed. People can make whatever claims via cheap comments, where they never provide a single evidence to substantiate their claims. Who exactly is this commenter? What exactly is their intent? Who do they work for? We just don't know, and why it's very difficult to ever 100% trust any online comments. After looking at the profile, it looks like it could be another puppet account. Perhaps for Team Th3rm0w0rks? It's no telling. The world is a stage, this I am certain of.
