Haha true, once you go EUC you never go back. My mtb bike has spiderwebs.
Ride all the trails and jump everything you see. rocks Roots downed limbs anything. Its made for it. I dont have the V14 But I do have the V11 the V13 and the Lynx and the trails are where all the fun is. Currently out right now with a broken ankle non woods related. Car pulled out in front of me on V13 going 40mph.
Oh shit man! I had 5 crashes in my latest off road adventure. I am doing stuff way out of my skill level but this wheel just pushes me

@@CfTesla I did the same thing learning. i have been thrown on the ground from pedal clipping more times then i can count. Also my V11 threw me on my chest 2 times (both my fault) pushed the beeps at max speed. That hurt. You get use to the speed and turning sharp low center of gravity and muscle memory really quick the more you ride.
@@DonovanWert cast is off now and i just started physical therapy. It sucks going from having a jetpack under you to crutches.
The greatest advances in one’s skills comes from very low speed practice… wobbles are least prevalent among riders who have perfected slow speed maneuvers with fluidity. At high speeds, one’s safety margins and adaptive response times are proportional to one’s low speed performance.
If there were a contest to see whose riding was most graceful and balanced at 5mph, then chances are that that rider is fully capable of riding at any speed.
Accelerate your learning curve by slowing down… spend a week in soft mode and imagine carrying a glass of water without loosing more than half its content. Then do it once a week on the same trail to gauge your progress… emulating other riders is fine but the risks that are unknown to new riders due to inexperience are very apparent to others who also had to learn ‘the hard way’.
Everyone’s learning experience is unique and valid. There are tons of excellent tutorials on YT, and if you ask other riders to share their favorites, you’ll elicit an amazing variety of passionate memories. Enjoy
When you take off you should try keeping your knee angled inward to counter balance the wheel and hold it while kick off, kind of like kicking off on a scooter. It takes a bit getting used to since it’s not really a natural position, but it will help make your take offs go smoother in the long run with less wobbles

Camera quality is on point. What’s your x4 settings? This trail looks northwest US. Reminds me of Oregon and Washington. I’m down in nw Florida and not so many hills. Mostly sandy trails roots and some clay and pine straw.
Looks like a great time there riding those trails! I'm upgrading to a V14 from a V11 and should be getting it next month, I'm super pumped! Something I've been wondering that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else... does the V14 fit in the frunk of your Tesla? I have a Y and do a lot of road trips so it would be awesome if I could put it in there for easy storage on the go. EUC's make supercharging stops way less boring.
Oh yea easily! Man I just did a 9 mile ride in the trails in crazy hail and rain…so fun having a wheel that can handle that no problem. You are in for a treat!

You are going to absolutely love having your electric unicycle available while you are waiting for your car to charge. The only problem is that by the time you get back your car will have already been charged for a couple of hours! 😂
I find riding at along a steep grade is more difficult than up or down one.

@@CfTesla My son does orthopedic trauma surgery. He repairs so many of us old guys from bike accidents.
@@mikeincoThat’s nonsense. If can stand, you can glide. They make slower and smaller wheels for learning and just having fun. You should look up the KingSong 14D or the Inmotion V8. Just be sure to wear proper safety gear. Maybe tape some stiff bristled brushes under the peddles to help you balance at first and just have fun. There are many videos of seniors out riding on RUclips
Im 44 and while that is not old I will ride until this body cant anymore. Cant walk right now but im eager to get back on and in the mean time i got a Billy goat Ebike that goes 40 to 50 MPH.
@@mikeinco ugh well you may have a different perspective at that. I have had back surgery from motocross accidents and other injuries but they won't keep me down. I just love the thrill too much.
