I think I'm gonna use these laminated with packing tape and with a popscicle stick holding them up to make custom planter flags for my garden. Drawing some arugula on the little pocket will look so cute!

I like this. I may even try with fabric double folded. I have tons of scraps from mask making. Looking for ideas. If anyone saying complicated you can slow down the video and stop it as you do it. Don’t say that without trying. The more you do of anything the more you CAN do. I actually speed most videos up to maximum speed on all things including sewing.

Used these for a business studies project, to show how much money I put into each company by making a pocket with the companies logo on it.Made it look really nice :)

Hi Laura, Yay! I love this pocket, glad you enjoyed it! I use them ALL the time in my journals to put little bits of stuff in. Make sure you make a bunch!
Finally! I found an artist who is the instructions for these cute little pockets actually work for me! I’ve watched others’ videos but was unable to successfully make a pocket but now I have! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My future journals will also thank you. Let’s say I would like to make a larger pocket. One that would be a 4 in.² when I finish. Where do you find card stock it is that large? The biggest I’ve ever bought is only 12 x 12. TIA ♥️♥️♥️

You are so welcome! You can in desperation tape/glue paper together, but they sell large pads of various types of paper. You can use wallpaper, newsprint, start thinking outside the box and all of sudden you will notice bigger pieces of paper all over! Thanks for watching!

These are so lovely! Thank you for sharing this video! I am going to make these pockets as inserts in my wedding invitations. Would you happen to know approximately the proper length and width I should start with to be able to insert a card that is 3" x 5" when the pocket is complete?
The pockets are designed to be square. If you cut a piece of paper 20" long x 5" high you would get a pocket 5x5. If you cut a piece of paper 12" long, by 3 inches high you would get a 3" pocket and your card would stick out the top. That would look cute but I'm not sure if that's what you're after. I wonder if I'm making any sense? 🙃😬

Paper definitely "creeps" when you fold it...thus those little bit of white sticking over the edge.
Yes, try making the folds with a ruler and using thin paper.

So it all depends on the size of the pocket you want to make. There's a formula to follow to get particular sizes. Have fun!
