I know what Resident evil needs, a complete remake of 6. Hear me out, I know 6 was absolutely terrible, but I believe that with a proper remake that scraps the original, we can get an amazing game. It would only add to the redemption arc of the RE series, but also give us another RE zombie game.
I mean story was good but gameplay felt like a zombie action movie
@@halilovich7735 that's the good part of it, change the gameplay and add more to the story. Don't change what doesn't need to be changed, only change what you know can be improved upon!
I mean i didn't hate it i just didn't think of it as resident evil, but if any game in the series deserves a remake the most after the first 3 we had it has to be code veronica. I am thinking similiar gameplay to re2 remake but unlike with the remake of resident evil 3 i think more content added would be cool like a separate Wesker mini campaign that has its own unique path. the game is a bit underrated and honestly i would tie it up with the original resident evil 3 and before any pitchforks come my way just hear me out. I even as a seven year old child in the early 2000s never found nemesis scary or interesting. the only cool thing about him was him chasing you down, but at that time i would say the crimson heads in RE 1 remake were a lot more intimidating and nerve racking so maybe it just wasn't as effective on me. the only reason i'd say it ties with me for code veronica is steve as the cringe from his voice alone isn't a so bad its good, but more like freddy krueger's glove scratching a chalk board. Everything else though from the music, the ashfords which i think twins can be kind of odd mixed with a twist from Hitchcock's Pyscho was ok too if only it was played a bit more effectively, and finally just the environments from a prison, to yes another weird mansion, then to the artic was a cool step forward. I think it didn't get the love it deserved simply because it was originally a dreamcast exclusive that then got reported right around the time other competition came out like silent hill 2 and the fatal frame series and with the announcement future RE games were gonna be nintendo exclusives probably pushed away those with a ps2 or xbox at the time even though with the sales of 4 its no shocker they broke that deal.
I really liked it for what it was, it doesn't need a remake, but re5 is, re5 should have been a single player game, but it turned out to be coop garbo with monstrous looking Chris
The Thing is more protagonist more the flop the game/movie is. Its the truth so many protagonist causes confusion. I still see people calling carla and ada the same
So from what the leaks and rumors' have told us, this will be a more horror driven RE game rather then action like the original. So far I'm pretty excited, I just hope they don't pull an RE3 again.
I hope they don't too but I'm not holding my breath. They cut 3make down to a dlc rather than a full game.
I hope it is more like classic horror rather than action. And it does look good. That's what I disliked about 4 and the RE games that followed. That and they kept going 'bigger' to top the previous one, like the movies did. I hope they remake Zero, Outbreak and Code Veronica before they remake anything else. In fact, I wished they remade all of those before 4. Remaking the first again would be fine too since it's my favorite overall in RE - as long as they don't go more action than their original. Less is fine but not more. RE has become less and less horror with each installment sadly.

Still want a remake for Code Veronica and Outbreak before RE4! Perhaps a remake of Zero and even a remake of the first RE/RE1 remake before a remake of RE4. It's aged the best still and there are older RE games I want to play more than 4. I hope the remake of 4 has more atmosphere and tension and less action at least. If not, it doesn't matter how good it looks (and it does). There's much more room for improvement with Code Vernoica, Zero and Outbreak before RE4.
RE1 has a remake and remastered RE0 was made after the RE1 remake and that has been remastered as well also code vericona might not get a remake

1/RE0, especially since the OTS perspective has helped Capcom sell millions more, and Demon’s Souls got a remake only 2 console generations later. REmake is technically a PS2-era game, and if TLOU remake turns out to be true, then I don’t see why Capcom would shy away from remaking RE1 and RE0 as well.
Playing as Ada in her RPD outfit would be literal perfection.

I wish they'd put even half the effort into RE3R...
If this plays exactly like RE 2 Remake, then we are in for a great game indeed. I just hope they don't mess around with the games animations like they did in RE 3 remake. They messed with the weapons, and some movement options, item icons and notices in a way, it was like they removed but added lesser control and environmental outputs, I hope other people get what I mean by the RE2 and RE3 remakes differences as in gameplay. I can't put my finger on it but as long as this game plays exactly like RE 2 with some advances then we are in the clear !

Not an advocate for remakes or overhyping games. BUT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LONG OVERDUE!. Most definitely something new because no one ever dislike re4 so that’s something we all came together to like.
I miss old Luis’s voice, which is stupid I know, but for some reason that was his strongest draw for me…that and his looks.

While I’m still upset that they don’t remake code Veronica x since is meant to take place before resident evil 4 but as fan of game RE4 since childhood and it was one of my favorite game in PlayStation 2 whom is main reason for me to become fan of resident evil franchise to begin with I’ll look forward in RE4 remake even it doesn’t make sense in chronologically speaking

I hope this ends up more like re 1 remake than the re2 or 3 remakes. Re2 did cut a bit of content but was still really good, RE3 remake not so much, too much cut content.
The reason why there were quite a lot of content cut and some released as post-DLC was because the people who wanted it to be faithful to the original RE3 on PSX/DC/PC ended up moving to the studio that created RE8 Village.

Okay well I still don't think RE4 needs to be remade, instead they just need to move on with new ones, but this does look pretty good however! Let's also hope for no cut content though! At least not from the original RE4. Even so, why not Code Veronica first (despite I think the same way with that too)?
They probably did RE4 because it was similar to RE village because of the environment and location similar to RE2 and RE3 also I don't think code vericona will have a remake

RE3 remake was a better game then the orginal in my opinion I think that nemesis got too much focus in the orginal that everyone else got pushed aside I like how characters from RE2 made an appearance and showed how they ended up in the situations they were in and I like that carlos and other characters got a big role Nikolai new attitude an he was working for someone else I like the RE2 remake but I was dissappointed with the B scenario.
Looks absolutely great but for me that guys voice just isn't Leon as well as his looks but I will certainly buy the game.
