      actually that's completely intentional and normal, he is the mechanic that rides along with the pushback driver and is connected to the pilots via the headphones... the person you see from 4:46 is the same guy... pushback is oftentimes done by the pushback driver only where he is directly connected via headphones but depending on the circumstances airlines or airports require an additional mechanic that oversees the pushback and the engine startup... in this example you can see the same thing being done at zurich airport: ruclips.net/video/jPp31TLAi2k/видео.html I generally recommend researching a little before calling something "hazardous"...
