I worked the ramp for Air Canada. One guys nickname was tumbleweed, because got got blown away by jet blast three times...he was let go because he just couldn’t comprehend how dangerous it was.
I guess Cargolux isn't big on EAR safety . . . the guy marshalling the aircraft into the stand wasn't wearing any earplugs. Nor was the guy who moved the stairway back out of the box.

How is the staircase not touching the plane a safety precaution? Or is it just a question of not scratching paint on the plane?
Then skin of the aircraft is very thin! Dents and scratches cause airflow to act differently then on smooth surface!
