One amendment: We don't know if Link fought alone in the field, or if any soldiers joined him. Either way, when he fell, it was just him and Zelda there, alone.
Be sure to check out all music used, in the description!
Hi Zeltik! Might I recommend you investigating Snowpeak ruins from TP? It could have a very detailed backstory, if you searched. Like, why are there oars in a largely landlocked area? Why are there so many cannons and other weaponry? Who did it defend against? Love your vids.
Zeltik hey, I think u should do a video on Ura Zelda
Holy crap man I usually don't reply to your videos but this was a really well put together video got me hyped to play the game again well done man love your videos
Link is a beast. It was all him.
One a side note: Are you an English major?
@@crescendyr8438 no not at all I was always awful at spelling
Really enjoying my Zelda History class at the University of RUclips.
The only school where teachers truly aren't paid enough.
This is the best class though 😂
I call it, “University of Hyrule,” instead of “University of RUclips.” It sounds better. :)
@@Mr.Foxhat yeah no. Kinda the opposite lmao
@@junpeixix, yeah, that does sound better, but it doesn't make sense in the context of botw in my opinion.
As Kass explains in his final song to Link it was Zelda's love for Link that awakened her sealing power, not so much her desire to protect Hyrule. "The princess's love for her fallen knight awakens her power." With Link about to die, that was when her love for him was strongest. Anyways, love this new series!
Eyy thanks man! Yeah, I wanted to allude to it "This was her hero" etc, but maybe I should've hinted at it more in hindsight. Glad you enjoyed! :)
@@Zeltik No worries at all. I have to say that this series is another whole level of quality! I personally see this as an even brighter era for your channel. Keep it up and I look forward to your next one!
Since this is a such an important plot point, i was a little sad that they didn’t show more emotion during the final ending scene. Some sort of lovers embrace would have been perfect.
To be fair though, that could be just Kass’s interpretation. Or the popular mythos of the time.
So ZeLink is basically canon in BotW? XD
Never thought giant robots would belong in a Zelda game, but in hindsight they fit into the lore surprisingly well. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to fight giant robots while riding on a motorcycle...in a Zelda game. Gosh, that still sounds like I'm joking.
Well there were the Eyegores, Beamos, and Eye Beam in LttP... that's when I first started noticing robot-like things in a Zelda game. Then of course there are tons of robots in Skyward Sword. I do think Zelda is better off without robots but they've definitely been a part of the series lore for awhile.
Not to mention, the game was conceived as the triforce being a computer or something... I don't remember or feel like looking it up.
@@CharlesFerraro Well, Eyegores Beamos, and the Guardians in SS weren't exactly robots, but golems. Inanimate objects given life through magic. The guardians in BotW are robots because they operate mechanically without the use of magic. There is distinction there, but I like golems as well. I don't discriminate.
@@fusionomni305 Idk seems like the Guardians function off magic to me.
@@CharlesFerraro Maybe that blue stuff is magic. I always assumed it was an undiscovered material.
@@fusionomni305 Yeah maybe they'll get more into that in the BotW II
Many said botw doesn't have a good story. I disagree. The story just isn't obvious at first and is scattered across the game making the players connect the pieces themselves.
This way of presenting the story of a game is also used in Hollow Knight, a masterpiece itself too.
And just like that game, botw was destined to have a huge amount of DLCs which in the end became the sequel.
I tend to agree. Going into playing this I heard a lot about how the story wasn't good. But I had a blast seeing the story be pieced together bit by bit, and uncovering things myself. If you don't care to dig then you won't discover anything. But if you really dig into it then you can find an excellent story.
as a dark souls fan that is used to look for the story, i loved BotW´s story
@@jzam5018 lore isnt story lol
Johnathan Era everything is story, including lore, world building and cinematics.
Agreed, the overall story is unspoken and displayed across the lands. Piece together the memories, watch cutscenes through the main play through and definitely take on the DLC for the full plot
I cant wait for BOTW2
Can we just talk about how overwhelmingly powerful link really is to single handedly take on legions of guardians by himself and still survive ? Wish I could’ve seen the fight.
He defeated several adults in sword combat as a child lmao
Thomas Pereira I saw that too it’s really insane. But you see how much trouble just two Guardians give you in game with simple actions and here he is fighting hundreds at the same time while protecting people
Exalted now I want to animate that fight dang it
He probably pressed pause a lot and ate five hundred apples
@@ExaltedRealm I can easily beat two guardians
Why am I more attracted to this than actual history????
Because its Zelda history 😂
I'd play that DLC
Because no one has ever told you history properly.
It is narrated in a “more cinematic way”
Zeltik is good at narration.
@@williammckinney5213 Thats exactly what I thought
Please do an episode on Snowpeak Ruins, like who lived there? What was it used for? Isn't it weird that they built it in such a desolate place?
I coincidently commenting the same idea! I just beat it on the HD game earlier today and have so many questions! What was the meeting room with the boss key used for? Why is it in such a secluded area?
Okay so the most likely theory is that, during the war, the Royal Family moved into an estate up in the mountains to protect themselves from foreign armies
I remember seeing online that it was a training outpost for soldier during the war that sent Gannon to the twilight realm but it did seem like great material for one of these.
Umm what about hebra ruins like the tabantha village ruins in botw
@@R1IY2N, it was probably a settlement before the Great Calamity judging by how there's a dead guardian right in it.
The Power of the Goddess seems to come from hope and love. Every prior Zelda used it to protect their people out of hope and love. The same goes from Hylia, who loved the races of the planet so much she was willing to fight to the death to save them from Demise.
BotW's Zelda was put in a position where everything was technical. No one truly cared about her struggle from an empathetic and emotional standpoint. Her own Father, even after reading his journal, only ever cares about her needing to live up to a role. All they fostered in her was despair, and that makes it hard to love the people around you. It was only during the final days of Hyrule's existence that she began to have the bonds necessary to feel love for her kingdom that showed her none. The friendship she built up with the Champions and the budding relationship she built up with Link unlocked the power, and in the moment the person she cared about most was about to die, it was unleashed as her emotions poured out. She went from despairing, to having hope, because she needed to have hope. Link HAD to live, she couldn't let him die there. So she didn't.
Everyone says love, which makes sense, but it’s really the Triforce: Power/Wisdom/Courage.
Ocarina of Time goes into it more, the Triforce (Power of the Godess) is granted to chosen ones who have those three forces in balance.
@@lucasstrople4767 That makes sense actually. Zelda was naturally wise, and she unlocked power by demonstrating courage by shielding Link in their last stand against a powerful guardian.
What a cinematic experience. You capture the feeling of dread, desperation and hope perfectly with sequences that fit the narrative perfectly. I felt like I was watching a professional documentary. I can't wait to see what other surprises you have in store next week.
This series give me another look on breath of the wild.
A battle against Guardians is a battle of desperation. Facing off against one can feel impossibly difficult, but an entire army of them?
common viewer especially when you’re not the Hero of Hyrule and not armed with the Master Sword.
Yeah, you're dead, no contest in any way.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 Still, what few soldiers made it to Fort Hateno helped to hold the line long enough for Zelda to shut down the Guardians.
@@connormclernon26, actually I think it was vise versa, (think that's how you spell it).
Dragonborn Express vice versa, but I get your point. Still, the soldiers had to be doing something useful considering the rather significant number of guardians close to the walls of the fort.
In any case, I see the fort as but a simple checkpoint or maybe a toll point. No one ever expected the soldiers there to hold a battle line.
This is really awesome! One of your best videos yet. It really captures what I love about the game’s world building.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)
5:41-10:44 This is the part of the story I wish we got to experience before waking up. Zelda's whereabouts unknown. No voice, no king to guide us. How heavy it'd feel.. Only to learn through memories Zelda tried to protect us, before we make our way to end the calamity, and see Zelda is truly alive.
Amazing video as always. I look forward to more piece of BoTW lore.
Ebhii H. It would’ve been so cool to play through and then having this be the second game or at least the second part of the game
Have we got news for you bud
@@LinkeLars420 true hehe
This really emphasizes how terrifying guardians are. The guardian battle music with the sharp piano and urgent music screaming danger shows that even Link who had been asleep for 100 years and lost all his memories still somehow knew how dangerous they were.
Yeah in a time without even electricity... Like I'm sure there's more when there is infrastructure, but the tallest buildings most ppl see are castles. And those don't move. Not only is it horrifying that the technology that was supposed to be salvation is attacking you, it's also not smthn many would have seen or conceived of.
You should do a video on Snowpeak Ruins. What was the abandoned mansion's purpose? Who originally owned it? There are so many interesting items inside, from a pair of oars to y'know, cannons! I think that this concept could have lots of potential.
Also, how did the yetis Yeto and Yeta come to live in the place. It obviously wasn't build for or by them, as many of the entrances are human size. I would love to hear your thoughts.
I think that Snowpeak Ruins served as a fortress for the Royal family of Hyrule. It is hinted that an order of knights once guarded the fortress, and their emblem can be seen in Hyrule castle. It is likely that the Fortress was constructed by the Royal family as a sort of safe house during times of conflict. For example, the war that would seal Ganondorf into the Twilight Realm. This theory makes the most sense, Snowpeak ruins is isolated from the rest of Hyrule, hidden away within the barren tundra of Snowpeak. The Fort seems to be well defended, as there is only one way to it and the arsenal kept inside would have been used to bombard enemies from the cliffs. While the war between Hyrule and the Guerodo raged, the Royal family and maybe some key political and military figures would take refuge in this isolated Fortress. Safe from the grueling battles of the war.
@@calebp6114 The Yetis likely just stumbled upon the ruins and decided to make it their home.
That a theory. The fans don't really know the origin of snowpeak ruin mansion.
@@kingnamor7777 Yeah it's a theory, but a plausible one.

legit this series is making me play botw more than i played it at release omg
I've beaten it 3 times, each time with the master sword, one time on master mode.
This series is gonna make me do it again lol
I am so hyped for this episode.
Hateno Fort and Village are underrated places, in my eyes, and I'm glad you are making videos about them. I wonder if you'll be also making video about the lore of New Hyrule.
everyone said Breath of the Wild story was weak, it really wasn't look into it deeper and it is probably one of the best story's in the Legend of Zelda franchise
Yeah, they don't want to work for the story, they want it to be spoonfed to them, but I say work for the lore and story! You don't want to do that, here, take this copy of Halo 5 and go play it at the boredome, I'm sure they'll like you there, coward! (Not talking to you btw, I'm talking to the people that don't like botw's story.
Make one of the hyrule coliseum, I want to know the purpose of it, it was like the arbiter's grounds??? Or was just a place with olympic purposes??? Because there's a lot of monsters there, and is covered with malice too, so this means the coliseum was a prison for the monsters too??? And Ganon freed them when he taken control of the guardians???
I think it was just for gladiators and sport events.
The monsters live there because it's a gigantic stone fortress filled with weapons. What monster WOULDN'T move in???
I'd say it's reasonable to assume there's so many monsters in the area because the Coliseum held some kind of monster-fight event. After the calamity, the Hylians all either died or fled the area, and the monsters were empowered by the malice and broke free, taking complete control of the building and making it a sort of settlement for them.
This is what i love about games like BOTW and Dark Souls. Their subtle way of expressing a story through showing instead of just telling what happened. It's top class world building by utilizing the games environment to show it's story. A much better method of story telling IMHO than a character simply rambling on through expository dialogue. I find people often overlook just how much story is told through Hyrule's environment which ultimately makes the world fell alive, and further beckons you to explore what else could be lying around the next corner. So often i hear people say that "BOTW has an underwhelming story", which in part is true as the character building could be better. Story wise however; there is a rich and interesting tale lying under almost ever nook and cranny.
Unfortunately many people just don't take the time appreciate why things are laid out in such a way to make you contemplate what may have occurred in the past. BOTW gives you just enough information to grasp the key points through memories, and by showing you the end results 100 years later it allows your mind to fill in the blanks of what happened. Call me pretentious for looking at things in such a way, but regardless great video Zelink. Your video perfectly epitomizes how great this subtle method of story telling can actually be.
Zeltik. You actually moved me and brought a tear to my eye with this video. You're the only youtuber that EVER did that.
I want to compliment you on the way you put the video together. The way you tell the story is fantastic and the music choice is just perfect. I mean, putting on the appropriate armor and actually luring a guardian to Fort Hateno.. dedication and vision. I've been watching your content for a few days now and you blow me away.
Keep up the good work!!!
As a cinematographer I really appreciate the footage in the background. Like the low health guardian being finished off while you talk about the guards getting lucky shots on the eyes.
Amazing video Zeltik!! This gave me some serious chills!!
Heck yeah, I was keeping my eye out for you and NBC.
I'm going for the A+++ or the 10+++ or whatever mark in the Hyrule History Exam. Amazing video, simply brilliant. You filled the lore with so much more than just words, made it come to live. Thank you for this.
Awesome backstory, tugged the heartstrings when the miracle happened.
It will be an honor to play the link vs guardians sequence in fort hatteno. You'll play the highest tiered link ever.
This amount of detail really makes me want a live action Zelda film surrounding the events of the Clamity. It would be so interesting to see what all the characters went through to end up where they did.
How in the absolute hell does this man not have more subscribers? This channel is amazing. I'll usually listen to it podcast style on my way to work. Thanks, Zeltik.
I cannot get ready for work and put on my makeup when my EYES ARE LEAKING thank you very much
Every so often I come back to these videos. I love Breath of the Wild and it's story. I adore when games tell stories not just outright, but in a way that makes you look for them. The only problem with that though is you can easily miss it. Videos like these really let you take it all in.
But the best part of these videos has got to be Zeltik himself. He masterfully puts together and tells the story and backs it up with great visuals and editing. Each time I watch one of these I get so immersed I begin to want to cry about all these sad moments. Thank you Zeltik for really connecting me to this game, and great job on the video.
This video is why I love the Zelda community. This was incredibly well done, thank you so much! Your imagination and attention to detail is so appreciated
Wow, I don't know what to say…
Your narration and choice of words was amazing, the soundtrack very well chosen and this story got me very emotionally invested.

I don't even have to begin to watch these videos to give it a like. Anything to do with the Legend of Zelda, I like it.
I could literally listen to you tell stories about Zelda lore for hours
And they say BOTW doesn't have a good story...
It doesn’t
Christopher Vaccaro
It does. I don't know how else to say it. When you think at a surface level, it doesn't seem to be all that great. But if you delve deeper into the intricacies of the different sections of the story, it's actually one of the best ones out there.

Love the episode already!
Will u collab with Commonwealth realm again?
No, with Nintendo black crisis.
Why not both?
Amazing work i have always agreed with these chain of events, so nice to see someone else agree. Only thing i might have thought differently was that Link may have led a small troop of brave soldiers to help him lead the Princess back from the fort to Kakiriko, soldiers who probably died early on in the battle, so all we see is Link who is left standing defending the Princess, using all his might destroy guardian after guardian. But as you said, the guardians were too many and the rest is history. Great video. Love your work.

The effort to get the arrows at the Guardian and to blow up with the last eye shot, I am very impressed.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that your descriptions paint a very detailed picture of the events, and at parts even gave me chills. I absolutely love this series and can't wait for more!
Fantastic video man. Very well done. The lore itself is great, especially this story, but the delivery was awesome. Very cinematic indeed. I've only watched a few of your videos, but this one was particularly good. Keep up the detailed content sir, I'm loving it.
Now THIS is how you do Zelda lore!
Fun Fact: Link actually pioneered the guardian parrying technique. In Urbosa or Daruk's diary it says that one guardian went mad in the castle and Link picked up a pot lid and disabled the guardian
I'd love to hear your interpretation of King Rhoam's final years and how he came to be a spirit. Dude had a hard life.
Please, please, PLEASE continue this series! I've been watching Zelda videos for years (and have had the amazing privilege to narrate some of them) and thought I had seen it all at this point. This video and the last are some of the BEST I have seen! Script is so well written, editing is perfect, it's just all awesome!
First of all this is such a dope series! And second, this may be a stupid question but is this series going to be only about Breath of the Wild? Or will it explore other games as well? Great video though 👍
Super Link364 he... never said about whether or not it was only BotW, but I think it's anything to do with Zelda
I missed you so hard, this new series is sick.

Your videos are always amazing, thank you SO much. The way you analyse content as well as present them is stunning. Your script is so well written, I could just melt away in the poeticness of your language. Thank you again.
Good work, this is what we've been missing front breath of the wild. It gives you a more in depth feeling towards zelda and links relationship in this era.
The narration in this video quite nearly brought me to tears with the sheer epic scale and beautiful storytelling. Cheers for this one!
I love this series... The first and second Video were amazing. Seriously, the narration, the editing, everything is just done so well. I'm really looking forward to your next videos in this series!
I have grown to love finding out all the lore in my favorite games and this just scratches that itch in so many ways. Very nice my dude
You know what would be badass?? I imagine a Netflix series of Zelda to serve as a prequel to the breath of the wild game..animated and acted similarly to the Castlevania series, so we’d be able to see what happened before the calamity and the champions and maybe see more character development than was in the game.
I loved BoTW, but the story and lack of dungeons was the only thing I felt it lacked...maybe this animated series would offer insight to what happened..
Zeltik, I’m a huge fan of your videos! Keep up the great work! I imagine this battle your talking about as being like the season finale in like a 2 part episode! Would be awesome I think!

I really love the environmental story telling in BotW. I like nice how you incorporate that aspect into your analysis of the game.
Zeltik, amazing work! Both videos by far have been rich with details and really put me on the edge of my seat wanting more! Keep up these perfect videos man!
Amazing! The cinimatic explanations and storytelling were amazing
Really nice video. Although it seems to be an unpopular opinion, Breath of the Wild's story is actually my favourite story in the entire series and this video really does a good job of capturing why.
But it's true that they could have shown more, and some of it requires a bit of reading between the lines. I think it's a fantastic story nonetheless, and I'm actually curious whether Nintendo would ever shift their focus more to the storytelling side in future because I think there's a lot of potential there.
timmyhoodlum Fantastic lore imo
Started watching this Links to the past series and I'm loving it! Seriously, mate, this cinematic format gave me the goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes all at the same time. Bloody excellent work.
This is like, a really, really good series! You compile the stories so well, I even got goosebumps watching this. I can so clearly imagine the scores of soldiers, feel their desperation... wow! I'm late to the party but I'm so glad I discovered your channel. This content is lovingly made and so insightful. I'm a fan and subscriber for life. Thank you. 👍
Better than my history class at school
These two videos sum up why I love Breath of the Wild's story so much. Many people complain about the ending or things along those lines, but the story told through dialogue and the environment are wonderful.
The environment especially tells so many stories. I can come up with two right off the bat. In the central square of the castle town ruins you can find a knight's broadsword stabbed into the ground and a knight's shield laying against the broken fountain, both in front of the fountain. The positioning of these items by themselves tells a story about a knight or soldier that deserted the kingdom after it collapsed. Another story is inside hyrule castle itself. At the main entry hall you go into when you enter the castle from the main road, you can find a hallway blocked by malice. Go over to the other side and to the left and you'll find a ruined spiral staircase leading up to that large area just northwest of the first gatehouse. After shooting the malice eye blocking the staircase, go up a pile of rubble to the right and you'll find an interesting sight: a royal broadsword is stabbed into the rubble and a royal shield is laying next to it, both in front of a chest containing 3 ancient arrows. Just like with the previous example, the positioning of these items tell a story, but this time it's a royal knight, one step below the royal guard, who left his equipment after the fall of the kingdom and disappeared forever.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 Another one of my personal favorites is in Hyrule Castle. You can find the site of an archer's last stand against the Guardians up on one of the balconies overlooking the main gate. You can find his bow and some of his arrows laying around.
@@OniLink147, yep, hyrule castle by itself tells so many sad and awesome stories just through the environment.
@@OniLink147, which balcony are you talking about? There are tons, but I think I know which one you're talking about: the balcony just outside the Observation Room. To find this room, simply locate the dining hall, but instead of going into the dining hall, head down the staircase to the right when you first enter the hallway outside of the dining hall. Go down the staircase and you will be in a big room with guard statues and fancy couches. Two of the ways forward are blocked, the one in the front is blocked by malice that you cannot get rid of and the one to the right is blocked by rubble, which means the only way forward is to your left. To the left, you'll finally find the observation room. Kill the malice eye in front of you as well as the moblin that blocks your way. Go forward out of the room and you'll find a broken balcony with a royal bow leaning against it. That's how you find the site of an archer's last battle with the corrupted guardians.
Very nice story telling! You're like the Nobel of the Zelda universe!
That "and help was coming" part was great!
This is my favorite series on any YT channel. I love history videos and I LOVE botw. Idk what else you could make a story out of, but keep it up 👍🏼😁
The way you put this whole story into words made me not only feel like a listener to a tale, but more like I've experienced it myself! I really liked how you used actual gameplay footage to recreate the scenario that you were talking about, made it feel 'alive'. At the end I was actually in tears, because of how you told the story and how tragic it was! (Sorry if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes, english isn't my first language.)
Plz make a vid about the Imprisoning War and do a vid about the fight with Malladus that was prior to spirit tracks?!
That would be awesome!
Your links to past lore videos are amazing! Feels like im watching an exciting yet soothing documentary. Excellent work once again.
That was so good! Felt like story time. Really got me emotional at the end. I may have shed a little tear. Haha.
This is better than the history channel.... this was my first ever zelda game properly played and I loved it, brilliant channel and thank you for putting these vids out. Learning so much about the history
This may quite possibly be the best video you’ve ever made. In competition with the first LttP, of course.
i wouldn't mind an exam for this class, really well done and i like how you made the scenes.
Great editing, my dude. Sound effects and music on point. Script writing was great as well! Looking forward to more of this series. Breath of the Wild really doesn't give you much out front, so having something like this not only consolidate it all, but tell it in a more cinematic fashion is great! Hoping you cover some things from older games too, maybe some of Skyward Sword's story bits since the rumored HD is coming up? Either way, keep it up, man!
Your storytelling is incredibly immersive! Keep up the great work!
Could you tell us what info you got from where? You did mention your sources, but I'm curious to exactly what you found in each source.
I loved this, btw
It's actually all lore within the game. Read up on some of the descriptions of towns, items, and ruins in the game.
All of it? I hope so! I just don't remember ever finding anything on how Link and Zelda brought people with them as they fled.
The creating a champion book has some info too, it’s great
Man, you really brought story to life in a way few “game theory” videos do. And all you did was give a representation of events as Nintendo implied they happened. Well done! My favorite Zelda video you or anyone has done.
@Zeltik
I think that the corrupted guardians did not come through the Dueling Peak Pass. Instead they entered through the pass north of the Marble Ridge. The evidence? 1) The ruined bridge over Lake Siela and ruins near it (it is the path of an attack from this path, but out of the way if they had come by Dueling Peak Pass), 2) The two confused guardians in/near the pass, 3) the lack of guardians in the Dueling Peak Pass.
Even more, it is likely that Link and Zelda used the pass also as it explains why they had a moment near the Hylia River. That spot is the midway point to Kakariko Village on a straight line path from Kakariko Village and the Castle. What I think happened is Link planed to go up Sahsara Slope to the village, but for some unknown reason bypassed it.
But your idea he had refugees with him is and that is why he did not go directly to the village is clearly not true. They were clearly not in his memory. And there are no settlement he could have run into on the way there. And if he as so close to the village, why almost quintuple the distance he had to go buy going by that pass? A quick swim and some simple climbs with Zelda on his back or having her climb too and he would be there. Far quicker and off the the main roads.
If I had to hazard a guess. As Link was starting to climb the last cliff, it started to rain. He had to divert south (sliding down a cliff is far easier than climbing one), but by then the two had been spotted by the guardians and they had to take Marble pass. And once through the pass they saw refugees fleeing the fort for a last stand. Between hoping for 11th hour miracle in Kakariko village or fighting to buy their people time, they picked the later. And realizing they would not make the fort, Link picked a high point with marsh to make a last stand. The guardians swarmed out of the pass behind them and spread out across the plain. This would also explain why Zelda confronted the guardians there. If they had come out Marble Pass, the last stand and the fort are about equal distant from Lake Siela. A fanning out invasion looking for targets would hit the fort about the same time Zelda and Link were making their last stand and Zelda sealed them. But if they had come out of Twin Peaks Pass, the entire guardian attack would have had to hit Zelda and Zelda's sealing would happened before they reached the fort.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is by far my favorite iteration of zelda ( not only the game itself ) but specifically her character. Her development, although fully revealed to us over a rather brief period, is very moving considering all she had to endure and the pressure she faced. In the end her love for someone she felt so much spite towards is what saved the world. Touching

REALLLY appreciate the way you dress Link as random ‘soldiers’ and use your gameplay to enact of scene of the descriptive story you tell!! 🙌🏻 love the extra detail and effort you put in your videos 💯🤗 Thanks
You know, if each location in BOTW tells a story, from Fort Hateno, to the garrisons, what does each settlement, ruined home, and region tell? Does this apply to all the other games? Like in Minish Cap, the Fortress of Winds, or in the First Legend of Zelda, the various dungeons. Good idea for a video? Or a series? An in-depth story of each region and sub region in each game could be quite interesting, if you are willing to try it.
You did serious justice to the story of the fall of hyrule and the miracle that saved it. Showing the people, the devastation, and the emotions. Man, this was amazing.
This series reminds me of MrRhexx, and Shoddycast's Skyrim Lore videos.
Slooot
You know, I can watch most films and not feel anything, but this almost made me cry while doing dishes. Life is weird.
Thanks for the feels, love the video.
I literally started crying! : * (
These videos are amazing, keep the series going!!!!!!!!
*[completely impregneble fortress]
me: climbs it.
Awesome explanation it gives it more feels, if an explanation like this would be given in botw along with a longer video of the battle itself it would become nostalgia. 😁👍
AHSJDKD this makes me wanna play the game during the calamity now!! They stripped us of the best cinematic moments of the series by not letting us see that happen in real time
Why would you want to play that? I could see that being a playable memory, as a full fledged game it doesn't work because it's on a set linear path.
*but.
Dragonborn Express I mean yeah, I just wish there was a more fleshed our story, maybe not gameplay for all of it but I wish there was more to be seen from the past
@@michaelstapleton664, ah, I understand. Despite the lack of story though, I still am botw to death, I'm still finding new locations, exploring hyrule, killing monsters, helping people out, etc. This game is just so fun.
*love.
You tell the story so well I love the Zelda series always have but you bring this game to life keep it up
I got the Creating a Champion book, it's crazy awesome!
I just bought it after reading your comment, cant wait for it to arrive!
@@Mr-K-Money that's awesome, I'm sure you'll love it! It's an absolutely massive book and has details on just about everything from the game.
Im gonna try buying it too,
@@taco0901 It was a Xmas gift for myself so I got the special edition.
This was really interesting, I love looking into this kind of stuff and the way you retold the miracle at fort Hateno was great and I learned a lot more about that battle than I did in the game. Can’t wait to see more of Links to the Past!
