Quite possibly the best place on the planet. No cars, no crime, relaxed pace of life. Beautifully friendly people. Puerto Narino in the Colombian Amazon is a two hour boat journey from Leticia which is the gateway to the Colombian Amazon. From Puerto Narino we took day trips to indigenous communities, we went to Peru to see sloths, we found monkey sanctuaries, went fishing and so much more but it is also worth spending a day walking around this wonderful village.
