Bad'm D - Swordfish (Hardcore Atmospheric Jungle)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 27 мар 2024
- A Hardcore Ambient Jungle track. Hard as breaks, washed out pads, 808s and bass guitar samples. Makes you feel like a Swordfish cruising on the continental shelf and every now and again you have to fight a Shark. Does it make you feel like a fish?

😂 I wish I was half as clean as homemade weapons!
Bro your drum chops are 🤌
I'm thankful for the resurgence of atmospheric jungle. I was never too much of a fan of the liquid dnb takeover that occured when I was a kid, just didnt have the same feeling. I will say the only difference is the breaks for a number of songs was a lot more calmer and tended to have more jazz elements at times (talking on the intelligent/atmospheric scene of the time, compared to the modern scene which I've noticed takes more inspiration from the mostly PS1 game featured tracks). As for this work, wonderful job.
Thankyou, I appreciate and am glad to be a part. I think it was a real shame when even good lookin records started putting out liquid and no Jungle or atmospheric stuff.
In my mind all these genres didnt get enough time, which in a way is good because we can just make them now.
@@badm.d I talked to another modern artist about this, and I hope we find a way for longevity in the modern jungle/atmospheric scene. I think what is necessary is taking notes on the connectivity of the DnB/jungle scene in England. The top labels are quite supportive of one another, and it wasn't uncommon for example for artists like Goldie (head of Metalheadz) to feature on tracks from say Moving Shadow (for example the track The Shadow). It doesn't matter if, for example, tracks only get less than 10k people's attention. It's jungle, it was always for the underground, if it has a million listens is it even underground anymore. This is like the massive rift that happened when labels like Monstercat got huge, things got far too commercial. There's a rawness that's been missing in a lot of tunes for some time now because of stuff like this.
TL DR- If we don't want this to just be a phase, we need to follow in the footsteps of the many original labels that have survived in England since the beginning and continuously support the scene.
Dope 🗡️🌊
