    I enjoyed the information and am looking forward to seeing more of these. On another note, please do something about the sound. I could barely hear you.

      Thanks for the kind words and recommendation! We certainly have improved on our audio quality in newer videos, so apologies for the low audio here!

    Can barely hear the vocal. Very interested in this subject. Big difference is using an ok material vs. using the right material for a boating application.

    Can you torch the edge of acrylic to polish it?

    After watching videos about Coosa, I decided to go the long dollar and build a folding tablesaw outfeed table out of it. The _RIGIDITY_ is what I needed. After paying about $400 for a 3/4" - 4x8, I went to the pickup area to see Coosa for the first time.
    I got my money back.
    The sheet was already warped badly. And it was flimsy. I could flex it easily. No way it would make an outfeed/assembly surface without major reinforcement.
    Not at all like the impression I had from these videos.

    I have a 30 Pierson sail boat, core forward of the till is spongy, what would I use to replace the core with?
    I would like to cut out from underneath so I don’t have to rework the deck finish?

    Hello, Iam doing a project on aircraft flooring panel with a composite sandwich structure with an improved impact resistance..could you please recommend me the material I should go with (except nomex honeycomb structure)

      Hey there, unfortunately, we are really not the best people to be answering this question. I would suggest checking in with someone that know more about aircraft flooring and seeing if the products we offer may be what you are looking for. Sorry we couldn't be of much help, but best of luck! :)

    What is the thinnest the starlite material comes in?

    • @RichADio
      @RichADio 4 года назад

      So I think I get what you're saying when you mentioned that coosa board doesn't have the same screw retention as marine grade plywood. However, if I were to screw through the coosa into wood, would the screw blow through the coosa, or would it react the same as a sheet of plywood and bring the screw to a stop?

      @BoatOutfitters  4 года назад +1

      Hey there Richard, the thinnest Starlite material we sell is 1/2". Please let us know if you have any other questions, or give us a call at 866-633-7961

      @@RichADio, it sounds like you are screwing a piece of Coosa onto a piece of plywood (please correct if I am wrong!) In this case, we would recommend drilling a thru-hole in the coosa, and pilot hole in the plywood. The screw should not blowout the coosa if this is done! :)

    • @RichADio
      @RichADio 4 года назад +1

      @@BoatOutfitters I would be screwing through the coosa into a 2x2 subframe. But I understand your recommendation to predrill.
