I expected the plot twist to be the kid being alright, but I didn't expect a *second* plot twist
The darkest by far, implied child murder or just straight up kid killing has always been a thing here but never like that. Still funny tho
That's what cyanide and happiness is all about. It gives you an expected plot twist, and then *another* that you can't guess.
Actually there were 3 plot twists:

1) the boy’s wish for death
2) the boy surviving and being cured
3) the boy being killed anyway
They KNEW you predicted the first twist, so they put in a second twist

Actually, he was no longer sick at the end, and therefore the contract would be null. However, there's still the matter of the hospital bill, which would've crippled his parents financially were he to get well, do maybe this is a mercy killing.
