- Operation Polo was one the first war that India fought for its unification. It was a short war lasting just 5 days over a princely state of Hyderabad. But the history, circumstance and the war itself is worth a complete video. Have a look and be amazed.

I'm from Chatrapati Sambhaji nagar previously known as Aurangabad, couple of years back when I was a school going student i was used to ask my grandparents stories of their times 1940s-50s i still remember many times they told me about "RAZAKARS" & horrifying atrocities they had committed on people of Aurangabad & across region of Hyderabad princely state at that time. I just want to say people have forgotten these atrocities and we also have people in india who remember Nizam & Razakars as good people, & support their decents like Owesies who openly defend Razakars atrocities. Thank you to Sardar Patel & Indian Army for rescuing us from these monsters and teaching a lesson to pakistan sympathizer Nizam and adding Hyderabad state to India. Jai Hind🇮🇳❤️

Sardar Patel deserves the credit, respect and recognition. He was instrumental in liberation from Hyd from Nizam & it's merger in to Indian union.
Actually the RGIA Hyderabad should be renamed as Sardar Patel Intl Airport as a mark of tribute to this Great Soul.

You didn't mention massacre of civilians by the Indian army. "Police action" was launched by Indian army after the Nizam agreed for ceasefire. Police brutally murdered hundreds and thousands of Muslims for more than 3 months in total.
More than 200000 people were killed.
Apart from killings, the other atrocities recorded were - rapes, abduction of women and children, forceful conversions, loot, arson, and desecration of mosques, seizure of property etc.
Testimony of a survivor:
I can never forget that September, it was Thursday [16 September 1948] when the military entered the village. Many fled but we thought staying home can be safer. But the military men barged into our house, dragged all men in the family by their hair, kicking them left right, and aligned them only to shoot on their head.
The sound of those four gunshots can never be forgotten. All the men were dead. The military entered with tanks firing in all directions, killing men, burning shops, setting homes on fire, followed by goons raping women, looting houses, and stabbing those running for life.
One thing if for sure you tactically replaced Razakars with Indian Army and Hindus with Muslims and once again, claimed victim card despite being the prime prosecutor & raged community!
Hindus were massacred left, right and centre by the force of Nizam & it's well documented!! How pregnant women were cut in half!!
All under nizams instructions, as it wrote a letter to Patel stating that he would wipe Hindu population if he didn't succumb to his demands!!
Peple may have forgotten, hindus may have been brainwashed but the truth is still alive in the letters, books and materials of the times and has been resurfacing to stop civilizational annihilating forces like you.
