This connector is not really a USB type. I had no manual in my box, so there is nothing that shows what way the thing goes in the USB socket. It is loose either way, and the screen does not show that it is charging either way. How would anyone know when it is charged? Very unhappy with this. And like was said, the strap is too hard to pull off. it is a really stupid way to charge something. After awhile, the strap would wear so it might fall off one's wrist eventially. It also should not have to be used with an app. It should be all on the screen. The whold thing is user unfriendly.
My impression of this product has been similar to yours, but I'm going to do a followup video on this product soon, because the comments on this video have been... interesting - a lot of people seem to have defended this product quite fiercely, and that's hard to understand, as it really isn't even a good offering for its (admittedly cheap) price point
A lot of these watches are dirt cheap that you can't really expect them to be any good. Some are ok but it's a bit of a hit or miss. If you want a good smart watch you gotta pay at least around $40, but prices can vary wildly so do your homework before buying. I got my Zeblaze Vibe 5 for $30 including shipping and it's been really great. No touch screen but I honestly prefer pressing buttons than fiddling with the watch face and getting it all smudged up. If you want a cheap smart watch try the Zeblaze Crystal 2. You can get it for about $20. It's a plastic watch that feels like a toy and it's pretty basic but it comes from a brand that's more than just a reseller company. I say this because many of these smart watches are made by ODMs that just resell them to companies like Lokmat, Microwear, Bakeey, etc. These guys don't even do anything to brand those watches and the watches still just come in generic boxes. The only branding you see is on the website selling them like Banggood, Gear Best, Ali Baba, and all the countless online merchant platforms like Lazada, Shopee, etc. Some examples are the L5 and L8 (Microwear, Lokmat, SUPP, etc.), KW19 (Kingwear, Lokmat, etc.), and countless others. Zeblaze is, at least as far as I know, designing their own watches and not just reselling stuff from a behind-the-scenes ODM or solutions provider. Not saying all those other 'brands' (quotes intentional) are crap and Zeblaze is much better; I'm just saying how the Chinese smart watch industry works, who's who in it (as far as I know), and how you can't really expect much for $10 or less. Personally if it's too cheap I just ignore them because I know they'll not only look cheap and perhaps give the wrong impression, but they probably aren't worth the time. Heck just buy a good burger.
@@AtomicShrimp it works that is the point, not only to me but also to many people I read over here. Go to the doctor and check if everything is okay with your wrist. Hahha a Just kidding

We rely on you to give the products a thorough review, it's like saying Bonneville chocolate is rubbish because you don't like dark chocolate.
I'd have done that if I felt it was possible. Usually, my reviews contain feedback from days or weeks of actual usage, but in this case, it just wasn't usable, so I had to conclude on that point that a watch that isn't comfortable to wear and isn't readable in daylight, isn't a watch
I bought 2 of these for my 10 & 11 yr old boys for Christmas (They wanted fitbit but not paying that much for pre-teens) and after this review I felt the need to test my ones, I I stalled the companion app that asked for basic permissions that one would expect a fitness band and text/call notification bracelet would ask for (it's not like it wanted power of attorney) The app allows you to activate the wrist flick to wake the display and input weight/height/age/sex for monitoring calories burned and adjust screen brightness. You are absolutely correct that blood pressure is not measured, it just does heart rate again. I am not out to have a go at you because I enjoy your content but please give products a full review. this is actually the first 'fitness band' my mother got for me when i was 12. as a user for 6 or so months, its not really a great product. useable for telling the time, just about. anything, not really. the step counter is extremely inacurrate as is everything else, and the app is fairly low quality. for a kid, perhaps an alright gift, but for anything else, would not recommend.
Hello "Atomic Shrimp"! I just got mine. It works great! Read the directions and DOWNLOAD the app from your "play store on your phone. Pair them. Then go to the app you downloaded on your phone. Choose the feature for Flip of the wrist and turn it on...it does work. Blood Pressure reading also works well. Also, it doesn't have to be extremely tight for it to pick up your vital signs, loosen the strap 1 notch. I don't know if you downloaded the app or not, but my screen is a lot brighter than yours. Give it another try. Hope this helps.
Blood pressure reading is complete fiction. Do not trust it. The device does not contain a sensor capable of measuring it. The app fixes the wrist turn thing, but not the dim screen
Thank you for the video I wished I woulda seen this before I purchased 2 of them, They were for young children That's why I bought inexpensive ones Won't come on Or charge
When I stuck mine in a usb slot on my chromebook I left a part of the strap attached just removed the usb end. (I see what you say about on/off) my display was bright after charge, I positioned the usb in slot with the gold coloured stripes upwards it made a good vibration noise which it did at first charge on mobile charger. The time was slow, 1 month and out 1hr. 6 mins slow, so I'll charge and see if its changed. Apparently an app on phone assists the fit bit.
I think there are different distributors or something. I was looking to buy the same bracelet and there is a Bangwei watch on AliExpress with a different box and seems brighter screen. Confusing..
They are one of those products "I told you so", you cannot expect much from them, they are usually a useless expense, the funny thing is that by adding a little more you could find a mi band 4C, 100% functional,
I've been using the exact same one (under the name of Yoho Band) for more than 1.5 years. Durable and cheap. Perfect as a watch, but unusable as everything else. Thinking about getting an other one. I can recommend it. (but only as a watch, not as a fitness band)
Interesting. Nearly £12 seems a bit expensive for this... But £8 seems about the right price (if it includes P&P). Had one similar to this, and it did the job whilst deciding whether I wanted something like a Mi Band for long term use.
I bought this, but it had a different name and everything. They're selling them under different names. I can't install the lefun health app at all, even though my phone easily meets the stated req for it. I did find a lefun wear app that I was able to download, but doesn't seem to register to the phone all the time. The steps function doesn't work, the sleep tracker also doesn't work well, and it's not waterproof as it was listed where I bought it. I'm also kind of disappointed, but since it does take heart rate. blood pressure, and spo2 readings I suppose its worth $8. Also I bought two and one didn't come with the metal part of the bracelet so its useless as is. They can take blood pressure readings because they are based on pulse mostly. Its not exceptionally accurate that way, but close enough for a daily check if you don't have other health problems and need a accurate reading. So, I got what I paid for. lol I shouldn't be disappointed, I mean, it did turn on. Sorry to leave a novel here if its inappropriate.

I have this and have been using it every day for the last month. Bought it for £5 from AliExpress and with the app, its actually good. No issues that you had. You need to use the app to turn on the feature that shows the screen with the flick of a wrist.
Yeah, I think probably the low price point means little-to-no QC checks - some people have commented to say theirs also malfunctioned in some way; others have said theirs was fine and they didn't understand why I was making a fuss
@@kitab3044 In the user guide its written that we have to install this app, than turn on your bluetooth and connect with the band. I got the smart band yesterday and i have to say that i am very suprised, it works very well😊
there is an app you can connect it to. The app is called Yoho sports. And I think you may have just got unlucky with this particularly watch as I have seen many others who has this with much brighter screens. Also on the app Yoho you can also change the watch display and change the time from 24 hour to 12 hour. With the watch it does have the blood pressure and bpm etc
I saw it. There's been quite a lot of commentary on this video, so I made a followup here: ruclips.net/video/PlgTZQhO4UE/видео.html Point of interest: this device is physically incapable of measuring blood pressure. What the app is showing you is not what your blood pressure actually is, but what it *should be*
I bought this same product a few years ago, mine was fine for brightness & i was by & large happy until it let water in & the display died. I paid about £12 i think, mine was blue. I think mine lasted 2 months.
So I actually love the smart band but it’s stopped connecting to my phone via Bluetooth. It says it’s connected but won’t link when I receive texts or messages anymore like it use to 😩
Just from your review, its pretty clear you didn't do your research on it. I mean for the price what can you expect? I gave $8 for mine and its decent for that price. I've had no issues with the screen being bright enough. And you obviously didn't read the user guide or even the box it came in. If you had, you would have seen you can pair you watch with the app on your phone. Which gives you the ability to turn on the feature to wake up your watch when you raise your arm. I will say the band could be more comfortable and the usb in the watch band does seem like a faulty design. But overall this watch isn't that bad for what you give for it. You can't pay dollar store prices and expect a top of the line smart watch. So far I've been pretty satisfied with mine.
I can only imagine you didn't watch the entire video. I thought I was pretty fair to this product in terms of acknowledging the feature set for the price. Your unit may have a bright screen - this one simply doesn't (and surely you can see that on the video). You're right about the app making the wrist activation setting available. Apart from that, I stand by what I said here.
@@AtomicShrimp actually I did watch the entire video. Me personally for the price I didn't think you were being fair to the product. Since its clear you didn't even pair the watch with the app. If you did get one with a dim screen I'm sure defects happen in products this cheap. So like I said you can't expect a top of the line smart watch for $8. Anyone with common sense would have to realize that. Also, I'm sure this product isn't for everyone. That's fine as opinions differ. All I'm saying is in my opinion you get decent quality for the price you are paying. It would be a much different story if this watch was a more expensive model.
I don't disagree that this is more than the appropriate level of features for the price - like I said, I think they have just tried too hard for features this price point, resulting in some cut corners on overall quality. IMO, the right thing to do it pay a bit more for this feature set (and hopefully get better quality) or look for a slightly simpler model at this price
@@AtomicShrimp That's kind of the thing though. At this particular price point, I highly doubt you would find a watch with all the features of an expensive watch. So comparing this to a more expensive one is apples and oranges comparison. While this smart watch isn't top of the line it is a good watch for those on a budget like me. To be honest I'm surprised it has all the features it does for the price. Based on my experience so far I'd rate the watch a 3 out of 5 stars. With only the faulty usb design and the band being slightly uncomfortable being the downsides I've noticed. True the features could be better but for the money not a bad deal imo.
Definitely not comparing this to more expensive things - I'm pretty much considering it all on its own - I just think it is trying to reach higher than its capability - I find that in some ways impressive and admirable, but in terms of practical utility and wearability, I don't really like it
It's possible you plugged it into the USB socket upside down (there is nothing in the design to prevent this) - try it the other way up - it should buzz to indicate charging.
Yeah, the app solves the screen-on-wrist move thing, but I could not find any way to make the screen readable. Don't trust the 'blood pressure' measurements on any device like this. It simply lacks the necessary sensor apparatus to measure BP, so it's guessing, based on heart rate
I got this off tophatter for $8 lol can you tell me what application you downloaded for it? Mine didn't come with any directions lol my screen is really bright but idk how to change the time as I didn't have any instructions.
I have an extremely similar band that uses the app "Wearfit2.0." I don't really recommend it (bloated, cheesy, and likely spyware, asking for access to everything), but it may pair.
Yea... shame you didn't actually install the app so pretty much only a half review. You make yourself look like you don't really know what your doing when you make comments such as the "raise arm doesn't work" without even checking the app then stating "in your experience." Your "job" is to review, so do it properly. Ours has a super bright screen, raise arm works, steps may be inacurate, but that's because its on a swinging arm, however steps were similar on a walk to a location and return. Battery dropped to about 20% over 5-6 hours, then we recharged. Next day was on 20% by the time wife got home from work aprox 11 hours...
I was wrong about ONE point: the feature to turn on the screen when you raise your arm is off by default and is switched on in the app. The screen brightness, the comfort of the fit and the design of the strap/charger are still dealbreakers for me.
.thank you sir, i just got mine and i dont know how to charge this, the manual just say to pull the scrap and i cant coz its too tight, scared to destroy it so soon. I got courge to pull it coz of you vid. Thanks very much sir.
he's buying from these sites to show what garbage they sell, so that other people won't be fooled. He doesn't do it because he thinks they're any good...
That is the conclusion I reached in the video. This isn't a bad product, it's just trying to compete above its price bracket, and failing because it's too cheap to be any good
I do wonder sometimes if people misunderstand the intent of my reviews. It isn't ever about 'finding fault' - I just try to understand and test the product as if I were going to use it. Sometimes this means I say negative things about the product, but I feel they are things that have to be said. If you were thinking of buying this, you'd want an honest review, not just a positive one, right?
@@AtomicShrimp an honest review requires the reviewer to utalise the product fully by using it as the manufacturer intended. I don't think you have given it a bad review, just not as thorough a review as you could have.... Yes this is criticism but could you not see it as constructive criticism.
Yeah, normally I would review very thoroughly, using the product for days or weeks. That just wasn't possible here due to the strap comfort and display visibility issues, so I had to conclude it there. I just think this device is trying to do too much, at too low a price, to do any of it well
@@AtomicShrimp honestly the only thing you can say you have tested thoroughly would be the strap. Your refusal to download the companion app based on permissions it asked for is unusual as it only asks for generic permissions 1 to access photo, media and files 2 to take pics and record video 3 to make and manage calls 4 access contacts 5 view/read sms 6 access location By denying the permissions you are ultimately denying a smart band to be smart and are unhappy when it doesn't do what you expect of it. As a reviewer we expect you to take the risks that we are scared to take. I'm curious about the other smart band you mentioned in this video, did that one ask for any different permissions or did you shy away from that companion app also?
This watch came fast but the only thing didn't like on the watch was that it says it has blue tooth which it does but seems to disconnect so much. In trying to receive messages never came through. Then if you walk away from your phone it disconnects all together. I wish I would have known about this before buying it. Numbers are clear.

And it charges fast . It's the same thing as yours ?????
When you look into a usb plus look for the contacts then just insert the tracker so the contacts match up. Its very easy
The device vibrates when you plug it in to charge and it shows a charging icon..if that does not come up flip it around and plug it in.
This device actually does work and is even better with the app
@@allisonmattson9522 what is the app? I got this fittness band with no user manual.
I hve the BAND and it is really good, it works very well and it is comfortable to wear. Maybe you have a problem with your arm.
It's funny how people seem to feel the need to defend this product
@@AtomicShrimp it works that is the point, not only to me but also to many people I read over here. Go to the doctor and check if everything is okay with your wrist. Hahha a Just kidding
Unless my doctor happens to also be good at fixing poor quality injection moulding and crappy OLED screens, I don't see how that would help.
I’m reading your replies to comments, and depending on where you buy the band, the quality differs. Mine I love.
Is a coincidense that the prize (8.23) was exactly the time of the watch (08:23)?
the band works better if you download the app
@@AtomicShrimp maybe review the product as the manufacturer intended it? By not installing the companion app and granting the necessary permissions you are in a sense only doing half a review.
I bought 2 of these for my 10 & 11 yr old boys for Christmas (They wanted fitbit but not paying that much for pre-teens) and after this review I felt the need to test my ones, I I stalled the companion app that asked for basic permissions that one would expect a fitness band and text/call notification bracelet would ask for (it's not like it wanted power of attorney)
The app allows you to activate the wrist flick to wake the display and input weight/height/age/sex for monitoring calories burned and adjust screen brightness.
You are absolutely correct that blood pressure is not measured, it just does heart rate again.
I am not out to have a go at you because I enjoy your content but please give products a full review.
I bought a Samsung watch for my birthday and without a compatible phone it is just a watch.
@@richardhancock8743 Very true without the app there's a lot you cant do without the companion app mine even informed me of a Firmware Update after paring it with the app and after installing the firmware update the features in the band seam to work better ,so this review is honestly half baked

I have the exact same Fitbit and it's very bright and when I wake up, not the heart rate monitor and blood pressure it says 0
Do you know how to set the time on this please?
Did you check if you're not dead?
Bought it, worked for 14 hours never turned on after that smh!😒 Cheap is expensive
I got this same watch re-gifted to me for Christmas 2020. Not a bad little watch, I do doubt the accuracy of the heart beat and blood pressure monitor. The screen on mine is much brighter than yours, and turning my wrist does turn the clock on.
Can’t find anything wrong with the one I have. Really happy with it especially because of how cheap it was!

Also. I normally don't like most watches because of leather or metal bands, but this band feels good.
this is actually the first 'fitness band' my mother got for me when i was 12. as a user for 6 or so months, its not really a great product. useable for telling the time, just about. anything, not really. the step counter is extremely inacurrate as is everything else, and the app is fairly low quality. for a kid, perhaps an alright gift, but for anything else, would not recommend.
They have an app that connects to it called yoho sports
Interesting to see the difference between people in the comments who are happy with the watch and those who aren't.
Just got this one & no way will I keep it. At least you had the manual- nothing in mine.
same no manual....am trying to get it work but even that at this poitn doesnt work neither

It does charge lol but idk how 2 operate the watch but yh this watch is terrible
I have a sma watch Sm07 but No idea how to take off the wristband to replace it.. How did you do it?
I know it's not what your looking for but I got a mi band 3 as a budget fitness band. It's not bad for £20.
You have to activate the lift wrist to show display on the app
Soooo, bang good, does that indicate that the buyer gets ‘banged good’ by purchasing from the site?! ;-)
This one was dim even after charging
I think there are different distributors or something. I was looking to buy the same bracelet and there is a Bangwei watch on AliExpress with a different box and seems brighter screen. Confusing..
How did you read the instructions ? The print was so small I had to make a enlarge copy on my printer.
I had to use a magnifying glass!
I think we had got different ones because mine has better lighting and it also does not have thag sharpness you was talking about
They are one of those products "I told you so", you cannot expect much from them, they are usually a useless expense, the funny thing is that by adding a little more you could find a mi band 4C, 100% functional,
I've been using the exact same one (under the name of Yoho Band) for more than 1.5 years.
Durable and cheap. Perfect as a watch, but unusable as everything else.
Thinking about getting an other one.
I can recommend it. (but only as a watch, not as a fitness band)
Others are asking hundreds of dollars for one
Interesting. Nearly £12 seems a bit expensive for this... But £8 seems about the right price (if it includes P&P). Had one similar to this, and it did the job whilst deciding whether I wanted something like a Mi Band for long term use.
You had me at dog in the background disappointed song 😂😂😭😭

Also on the app Yoho you can also change the watch display and change the time from 24 hour to 12 hour. With the watch it does have the blood pressure and bpm etc
No, not comparing it to anything other than its own specification. Low price does not excuse a product from failing to do its described purpose
Atomic Shrimp I edited my comment idk if you see my edited comment or not
I saw it. There's been quite a lot of commentary on this video, so I made a followup here: ruclips.net/video/PlgTZQhO4UE/видео.html
Point of interest: this device is physically incapable of measuring blood pressure. What the app is showing you is not what your blood pressure actually is, but what it *should be*
In five minutes and seven seconds it does do with the flick of the wrist you just have to turn the app on
Yes, I discovered that later, however, there's no fix for the dim display so the device is of little use to me

Definitely not comparing this to more expensive things - I'm pretty much considering it all on its own - I just think it is trying to reach higher than its capability - I find that in some ways impressive and admirable, but in terms of practical utility and wearability, I don't really like it
Sir I bought this yesterday charged it and it won't turn on can you help
It's possible you plugged it into the USB socket upside down (there is nothing in the design to prevent this) - try it the other way up - it should buzz to indicate charging.
Ffs mine won’t even come on was charging for 3 hours🤬 load of tatt
How did you charge it
How do u turn it on?
The app has updates to some of the features you were lacking. BPM does sort of work if you are not moving at the time you take the reading.
Yeah, the app solves the screen-on-wrist move thing, but I could not find any way to make the screen readable.
Don't trust the 'blood pressure' measurements on any device like this. It simply lacks the necessary sensor apparatus to measure BP, so it's guessing, based on heart rate
The Price is not bad
There are better devices for similar prices. I don't think this is a bad deal, it's just trying to be too feature rich at too low a price

Yea... shame you didn't actually install the app so pretty much only a half review.
What is the app called in the Google play Store?

Your refusal to download the companion app based on permissions it asked for is unusual as it only asks for generic permissions
1 to access photo, media and files
2 to take pics and record video
3 to make and manage calls
4 access contacts
5 view/read sms
6 access location
By denying the permissions you are ultimately denying a smart band to be smart and are unhappy when it doesn't do what you expect of it.
As a reviewer we expect you to take the risks that we are scared to take.
I'm curious about the other smart band you mentioned in this video, did that one ask for any different permissions or did you shy away from that companion app also?
