Each daughter will have 1 chromtid out of two and as these chomatids were similar so they are exact copy of parent . In Meisis crossing over takes place in Prophase so Chromatids are not similar so all 4 daughter are different.

@@xsterawesome this is taught in college biology, a very small section but still taught. Meiosis and mitosis is something that will continue to reappear throughout all of your bio courses. Plus its always good to refresh your memory. I am a bio major and love all of the amoeba sisters videos.

For instance, yes, we're covering mitosis/meiosis, but we're also covering ncRNAs and all the specific functions they each perform and then what happens if they don't work right etc. The depth of knowledge is greater than anything I studied in high school.

I think why this video makes so much sense is that it explains the rather nuanced details that may confuse some individuals. These details are so necessary to be explained that otherwise would make the whole thing impossible to understand. It's like a chain reaction.
