God bless you and your ministry. I watched this video and was like "yes amen" to everything you both said. It's so frustrating. I'm a single mother and would love to remarry someday God willing and this can be even more challenging because many Christians look down on us even more than just singles

Yes they keep us Single. Everytime I go to a new church and tell them I'm single and want to meet people they only introduce me to men. You're supposed to be married not to find someone there
LOL!! Help us! I was raised in the church around certain movements that I latched onto as a child. Now I’m grown and a lot of that stuff wasn’t based in REALITY but a FANTASY. that same fantasy is why many women are still (passively) “waiting” on God. And if we are being honest, some women are silently mad at God for not sending they’re husband, especially if she is approaching menopause.
I swear all churches have an invisible "No Ring, No Spouse, No Fellowship" sign on their building. The chronic isolation from being around couples is why I quit going.
some people both men and women are waiting for a spouse like an amazon delivery and are encouraged to do so I got angry when my church ended each sermon with
your circumstances dont determine your happiness we have single people who want to be married and married people who want to be single blah blah blah
the sermon that made me feel better was when asked if he was happily married the pastor said SOMETIMES sometimes Happy sometimes not so happy same as when when I was single sometimes happily single sometimes NOT
@@08techgrad I went to church while on vacation they had fellowship after the service the pastor said why dont you take a seat I said Im good then he nodded his head I looked and there was a woman alone I thought thanks for the heads up padre I got rebuffed but I appreciated that he understood I was human and alone
