Yes! I wonder if that's why she can be horrible. Rember when she got rejected by the man she thought liked her back then she was horrible to will again but before she thought that her crush liked her she was nice! I wonder she's horrible because everyone treats her bad?! X
I blame Beckys parents 1) For not being involved enough in Beckys life to know how scared she was and help her though it. 2) Leaving the gun around where Becky can easily access it.
• BossNash! • how about locking it up? You're just being dramatic. When their kid has a mental illness they should take precautions so their child doesn't hurt themselves or others. Common sense really.
Oh my goodness this scene broke my heart. I swear, never in a TV show have I been so emotional as I have been with Sue and Becky, Becky is so amazing, beautiful and strong. And sue may be evil sometimes but she has a heart deep down and only lets Becky see it. It's so beautiful their friendship is beautiful
Pokemon Nerd And Santana, and Rachel, and Mercedes, and Kurt, and Brittany and Blaine. She may not have had the attitude that one would expect from someone being nice but she did a lot of nice things for the Glee kids. Without her Santana's Abuela never would have accepted her and Blaine and Kurt never would have fixed their relationship and married.
I was so proud of sue for how she handled this situation. She was really calm and knew how to talk to Becky. She was actually a pretty genuine character.
When people are scared, they panic. When they panic, they don't think. And if anyone is allowed to carry a gun, stuff like this will happen. They will pull a gun out, they will fire either at random or they will just let the gun go off because they get freaked out. And when that happens, a lot of bad things will happen, and that person's life will be ruined forever. Think about that before you say that everyone has the right to carry a gun
At the same time. What if this was actually a school shooting? No one in the school would have a gun to defend themselves. The media often shows people getting shot, but they don't show you the times when people have shot in self defense and saved tons of lives. Stuff like this won't happen either, before you're allowed to carry a gun, you have to be a certain age and you have to prove that you're capable of firing it, maintaining it, when to use it, how to use it correctly, etc.
***** The point is a gun was lying around the house where she could've easily taken it which she did. IF there are guns, there are guns to be stolen, and what if the attacker with the gun shoots the other person with a gun first? Besides, there wouldn't be any need of a second gun to save anyone if the first person didn't have a gun in the first place
The thing is if people weren't allow to carry a gun around BY LAW bad people will still find a way to get one! If everyone is allowed to (with a license) people would actually be afraid to rob or commit a crime because everyone would have a defense! This is why I live in Texas
I understand Becky's reasons for bring the gun to school, she didn't know what the effect it had on the whole school. I was shocked at this scene I feel so bad for Becky I wish she didn't bring the gun, I really wanted sue to tell them that Becky was one that brought it
One of the reasons I admired glee so much is because of the fact that they brought REAL issues to light. Homophobia (with Britanna and Klaine), dyslexia, death, autism, etc. It may not have been the most entertaining shows but it was definitely one of the most eye opening shows when I was trying to figure out the truth of the world myself. And I’ll always be grateful that Glee never made me feel as though I was alone in feeling whatever I was feeling at that time. Glee may not be my favourite show, but it sure as hell taught me so much more than I thought it even could. That a show ever could.
This is so fucked up, that a disabled kid that a KID even without disability has access so easily to guns. Imagine if Becky had killed Sue : how horrible, how hard it would have been for her and the school and everyone. Glad I live in a country where they are harder to get.
That is exactly the point. Glee has always played with sensitive issues and Gun Control (or the lack of) in the US is a huge problem. They also show how many people succumb to their own problems and 'resolve' them by committing suicide. It is extreme sad, indeed, but is an unfortunate reality.
Sue is actually such a beautiful person no matter what she always had the children's best interests at heart and knew when things were too far. I think she has one of the biggest hearts in the show ❤
I actually really like this scene. It shows just how much Sue cares for Becky. She was terrified of the gun but spoke in a calming tone to try to calm and comfort Becky. Sue really cares for Becky. I didn't see it at first but scenes like this make it crystal clear
Just from seeing scenes with Sue and her sister and this scene (along with other scenes with her and Becky), it's evident that she has a kind heart. I just think that she was always cruel and demeaning because it made people think of her as a powerful person and she might think showing kindness is a sign of weakness so these particular scenes are very comforting to see. Jane Lynch is an amazing actress and no one could have played this role better than her💕
Sue was horrible and amazing at the same time . She said and did some disgusting things but she also helped a lot of people when they really needed the help
I absolutely love Sue's relationship with Becky. It's so pure. Sue is basically Becky's guardian angel, she is willing to get fired rather than to face blame on her. Becky pretty much brings Sue down-to-earth from atop her rage mountain. Their relationship reminds me and my best friend which is ironic because her name was Becky but I was the one who has Down's Syndrome
I do think almost everyone misunderstands this scene, and the ones that follow. Sue *told* Will that Becky fired the shots right here, and Will understood what Sue was saying. She's actually asking people (other McKinley HS staff) who don't know Becky as well as Sue does, to fix the situation. All Sue is doing is buying Becky a bit of time. Sue has zero interest in covering up for Becky in full.
@@heddalee I get what you're saying, but some people who have disabilities do know what is right and what is wrong.
